"I liked Jack"
"Like is an understatement"
Today, my brother Auggie and i were going to look around our school. A part of me was excited, but since it was our first time, i was extremely nervous too. I know it wasn't our proper first day- but just knowing we'd be starting soon, scared me. I promised Auggie that no matter what, i'd look after him. Auggie wasn't like the other kids...he acted like other kids- but didn't look like them.
Auggie was born different, but i loved that about him. No matter how many surgeries he had as a baby, nothing changed my perspective and i hope he makes a good amount of friends in school. Being Auggie's twin would be hard. If nobody likes him- people probably won't like me. But i dont care.
Me, Mum and Auggie were now sat in front of the principal of the school, Mr.Tushman. I could tell Auggie was getting more nervous by the second so i grabbed his hand. Suddenly, we heard talking and scuffling of feet behind us. Auggie looked back along with me, we saw three kids. One girl, two boys...one boy in particular caught my eye.
We made eye contact- probably for awhile because i turned to see Auggie freaking out. "I can't see other kids now!" He said, worry filled his face. Mum looked into his eyes and whispered "hey, its gonna be okay. Y/n and i are here" i smiled and nodded. My brother relaxed a little.

Mr.Tushman introduced us to the kids. Charlotte, Julian and Jack. Jack was the cutest boy clearly. He was incredibly sweet too. While Charlotte was bragging to Auggie about her Broadway life, Jack and i got to know each other at the back. "So..how was homeschooling?" He asked, i looked at him. "How'd you know i was homeschooled?" I questioned with a smile.

"Oh- Mr.Tushman told us..im not a creep- i dont stalk you!" He explained causing me to laugh. "No need to panic. And- Homeschooling was okay i guess, but i'd love to be surrounded by other people you know? Make new friends and stuff" i said and Jack nodded. "I agree, though I don't really like school that much" i raised a brow.
"Why?" He sighed. "My friends suck. Julian- hes a horrible person, but he puts on an act in front of teachers which annoys everyone" he explained, i looked at Julian who constantly had a smug smile on his face, which angered me. I overheard him speak "or do you eat...special foods?" He was looking directly at Auggie. "Julian. Hes a person like all of us, he does not need special food, he has the same food of all of us you jerk"
The dark haired boy just smirked. "Feisty i see, it was just a simple question, or can you not answer them properly due to your homeschool life?" As i went to yell at him, Jack stood in front of Auggie and i. "Hey Julian, just shut up and continue showing them around" he said aggressively. I stared at him happily while Auggie smiled gratefully.

After the tour, Auggie and i were at the dinner table. I was sat next to Via, i loved Via, shes literally my best friend. "So Y/n, how was the school tour?" She asked. Before I could answer, Auggie cut me off; "there was one kid, he was awful!" I smiled sadly and nodded before my face lit up "i liked Jack!" "Like is an understatement"
Mum, Dad, Auggie and Via laughed while i sat there flustered as hell. "H-hey?! Hes a sweet kid okay- i dont like him like that!" I defended. "Suree- i'll be the one saying 'told you so' when you date some point this year" Auggie teased. I covered my face in embarrassment as my family continued to laugh and tease me. Although it was embarrassing- i dont mind this.

Because 3 months later, Jack and i started dating...and Auggie was behind us as we kissed, chanting "I TOLD YOU SO!" Jack was confused by this but me- i just laughed along with my twin...

The Merchant Prince Book 1: Returning Home
Enter a world of deceit and assassins. Augustus DeCastellian is a member of a wealthy merchant family, with ports all over the known world. He is sent on a voyage to new lands to open trade routes, but when he returns he will need to fight, using his tools of manipulation and cunning, for what he is owed.Author's note: This story is somewhat slow-paced, especially in comparison to the norm on Royal Road. The first three chapters act almost as a prologue, to give you a feel for what the rest of the story will be like. So, I suggest new readers try to get to the end of chapter 3 before deciding if this story is for them.A few of my reviews have said that this story is abnormal for Royal Road. I agree with that sentiment, at least based on what I've read on the site. It was just an idea that was in my head, that I began trying to write once my hobbies were cancelled due to the virus. I found Royal Road after I started writing it. Honestly, it's probably not even tailored for the web-novel format. But it's the story I wanted to tell. Discord: https://discord.gg/sk63gep

Midara: Requiem
"When the alternative is extinction, all acts, no matter how heinous, are permitted." The story of a little necromancer who only wants to play with abominations against all that is holy dollies and her horsey, Mister Clackybones. Welcome to the novelization of one script I designed for a video game setting I call Midara (I selected the name of a genus of moths for symbolism purposes, not to be confused with anything else). Once upon a time, I dreamed of the setting being the next Final Fantasy. Long story short: Nope. Requiem itself is meant to be an Open-World RPG which adapts to the choices of the player. This is just one of many, many paths that one might follow in Requiem's gameplay, if it ever becomes a game.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
