Leap of 2.5 years

" Please you all make pavilion ready first, leave the enterance decoration for a while " Malika told the workers and she kept on roaming here and there to check the arrangements being done!

After alot of sorrows finally happiness had knocked to their door! There was a wedding at the Malhotra Mansion!

" Muma" the toddler Anshul crawled towards her mother direction!

" Omg Anshul baby please stop roaming around it's unhygienic, everyone has dust on their shoes" Malika complaint as she picked the baby!

" Malika ma'am, sir is doing alot of tantrums while selecting sherwani please can you help him" the wedding planner said to Malika!

" These people are heading to my nerves! I am handling all the preparation alone and not even a single person is caring about it! Where the hell is this Sidharth Malhotra" she scremed in order to find him!

She marched upwards to find Aman and Sidharth drinking while alcohol!

" What the hell is going on " Malika shouted! Anshul was being good spectator without uttering any word!

" Baby we are celebrating my one more friend is going to commit suicide I mean getting married " Sidharth said in drunk voice!

Malika pulled out her sandal and threw on his face to bring him out from the drunken zone!

" Ohhhahhhhhahhhnohh " Sidharth moaned in pain touching his nose! Malika looked here and there to find a rode! She picked up and marched towards Sidharth direction!

" Sidharth run " Aman shouted as Sidharth jumped from his seat and ran around the table where they were drinking!

" You scoundrel you stand still! I am dying here for the preparation and you are celebrating here! I am not going to spare you today" she said as she beat his ass while he kept on running to safe his life! Anshul was giggling as his mom was running beside his dad!

" Omg what is happening" Vikram exclaimed coming towards them! Malika stopped for second and threw another sandal on Vikram!

" Aaaooouuu " he moaned in pain

" what did I do ?" He complaint crassing his cheeks!

" Why the hell you are doing tantrums in selecting sherwani! Can't you do this work yourself, in this too you need my help! How many things I should handle! House,baby, wedding and this stupid husband of mine! I am so tired of you boys! " Malika said in anger and marched downstairs!

" She is so dangerous her friend and your sister will too hang me like this after our marriage I guess " Vikram said with chuckle

" Indeed! Mine is dangerous but yours is dangerous pro max ultra" Sidharth said and they both laughed!

" Vikram it's correct time run to save your life trust me these group of girl friends are hell dominating and dangerous! Since the day I got married to sidhi she is making me do all household chores and I can't even complaint about it because if I did she beats me hard with broom" Aman cried crassing his bum where she had beated him before! Sid and Vikram bursted out hard!

Malika went to Annika's room!

" Annika you didn't got ready yet " Malika exclaimed seeing her still in blouse and incomplete makeup!

" Did he come yet ? " Annika asked

" Are you sure you had texted him about this wedding ? " Malika asked

" Yes I had and he even replied that he will come to attend this wedding "

" Apne bulaya aur hum chle aaye jaan hathale pe lee aaye " they heard a familiar voice as they turned to see Shivaay at the door!

" Shivaay " Annika exclaimed and went close to him! He too marched towards her and took her in his embrace but soon parted!

" I thought you would cancel the plan" Annika said

" Why would I cancel the plan it's my friend's wedding afterall " Shivaay said as he side hugged Annika!

" Hi shivaay " Malika came forward and gave him a hug!

" Oh my god Anshul my baby you grew up so much " Shivaay exclaimed taking him in his arms and pampered him with his kisses!

" Annika you get ready fast Pandit ji is waiting downstairs " Malika said and Annika nodded!

" Thanks for agreeing to be my friend " Annika said! Shivaay smiled as he crassed her hairs to give her assurance that he is fine with her decision!

5 months back

" Another day without you! Though at distance you are still close to my heart! Probably you have moved on still now but I stay in our memories every second of my life! I love you so much " shivaay talked to the Annika's picture frame in his office!

" Sir we have meeting in 15 minutes " the secretary informed and Shivaay nodded! Placing a kiss on her picture he started re checking the file which was supposed to be presented at today's meeting! He went to attend his meeting!

After the space of 2 years Annika had got the clarity she needed! She was successful event manager by now! It was difficult for her to letting go of past but eventually her wounds healed! What made her anxious was Shivaay's complete disappearance from her life! He didn't tried to pressurise her but gave her enough space but his absence was hurting her! A good talk with her best friend Malika really helped her to not neglect the fact that he is changed! His love had selflessness now! He became exactly the way she wanted her love to be!

Flashback

It was Shivaay's birthday and Annika had knew about it! The things were running in the way she had expected! She was independent and free girl who had no responsibilities and restrictions but somewhere her heart was aching without him! She felt a little emptiness in her life!

When guari had a miscarriage because her womb was too weak Annika literally felt her world shattered! She was there for Guari but she too wanted someone to have her back! Seeing her little sister broken made her feel worse! Annika had become more strong now but from outside from inside since the news of guari's miscarriage broke out she was upset as hell! And more than that it was Shivaay's birthday and she wanted to wish him! He had really done alot for Malika!

Finding Annika sipping coffee at the 3 am in the morning sitting alone in the balcony Malika sat beside her! Annika was staring at stars!

" What are you thinking" Malika asked

" How beautiful these stars look in the dark sky! They shine the maximum when they have their companion darkness! They can only come out when the sun sets and then the darkness embrace them and tell them that he has their back! I feel our human life is like that too! No one how bright star you are you will still need someone like darkness in your life to embrace you and to comfort you and to help and to excel your capabilities! " Annika told her feelings!

Malika smiled as she understood her point!

" I understood what you want to tell or say! You know Annika like you said that darkness and stars are each other's companions but they have to suffer distance when the sun comes in between them! In our lives too difficulties or certain circumstances made us get seperated from our close people but when Sun sets that means when problems gets over when we become successful to overcome them then like a good companions we come toghter and shine! The distance are the circumstances but that doesn't mean that two people can never come toghter! Like stars know their home you too know where you belong but you are still struck at that point of life which will always give you pain! " Malika explained to her

" It's easy to say to forget and move on but it isn't easy to do so! Every night I recall the same thing's! "

" I agree it isn't easy to do but it only seems difficult untill you try and in your case you don't even want to try! You want him but don't want him! You need him back but you don't need him back! You are angry at him but you are upset because you can't be him on his birth! You definately need clarity of what you want"

" I Just want to tell that I observed he is changed alot! The person who used to lash out when even used to talk to any boy gave zero response when we planned to make him jealous by showing you are going spent night with Vikram! He got ready to let go him love because he wanted you to be happy! I wouldn't have come to here and have this chat with you if in these 2 years I would have witnessed you moving on! You are not ready to move on Annika! Being honest I too still have grudge against him but i am now understanding what you want to have in life! So I kept my differences aside! And you too for yourself need to make up your mind and take a decision and be happy! " Malika said to her and she took her hands in hers and placed a kiss on it! Annika eyes teared! She was hell confused after this little chat!

She was sure that she isn't happy right now no matter how she tries to be strong but she is broken! She had loved him alot and she still digest the fact that she isn't with him! She had dreams with him and she wanted to accomplish everything but her past experience were stopping but after Sun sets darkness and stars too re unite!

What if stars kept on being pessimistic about sun intervention it wouldn't have been able to shine and be happy! She was supposed to do the same with her life! She can't just keep on crying over what happened in past! She needs to make a decision and this time a stern one!

Flashback ends

Annika took a deep breath and stood in front of his office building! She has ro do it! She entered in his building to by his surprise everyone were wishing her Good morning Ma'am! She was taken aback for a second after receiving such crazy welcome!

" How do they know her! " Her mind brought out a thought!

" Where is Shivaay Singh Oberio's office" she asked from the office person!

" Ma'am please come I will take you " the person said showing her the way to the lift! After an uncomfortable silence in the lift she finally asked!

" Umm may I ask you a question" she broke the silence

" Ofcourse yes ma'am" he replied

" Why is everyone calling me Ma'am I mean how do you all know me? " She asked

" Who doesn't know you in this office ma'am you are our boss " he said and she narrowed her eyebrows in surprise! She was about to ask for an explanation but the lift reached at the floor!

" Come ma'am this way " he said showing her the way!

" Reena Boss ma'am has come please call shivaay sir" he told to the floor receptionist!

" OmG ma'am please be seated! Sorry to tell but sir is in meeting it might take some time" reena said as sweat started forming on her forehead! Annika understood that she was getting afraid that she might bash her for this! Annika smiled!

" It's okay reena I can wait only if you will give me a company" Annika said! Reena 's smiled whole heartedly! She now understood why their boss was head over heels in love with this angel!

" Ma'am why don't you go and sit in sir's cabin till then I will inform sir about your arrival and I will get you coffee or whatever you need " reena said! Annika nodded with smile!

" So coffee? " Reena asked and Annika nodded!

" Ma'am this way Sir 's office" the other person told! Annika followed him to receive a shock seeing her numerous picture throughout the corridor towards his office!

" So that's how everyone recognized her" she thought!

She went to his cabin as another surprised wave reached to her seeing her taste of design and colour in the cabin!

" Ma'am please sit" the person said pushing the main chair that was Shivaay's chair back to give her the way to sit!

" I don't think so I should sit there " she said

" Please ma'am you are our boss's wife it's your right " he said and Annika raised her eyebrows in suprise! She saw her photo frame on the table! She was feeling so overwhelmed! Though he didn't tried to come near her for entire two year's but he still kept all their memories close to his heart!

" Ma'am your coffee" Reena said placing the cup on table!

" Do you mind if I tell you something " reena said! Annika nodded in positive to tell her to continue while sipping her coffee!

" You are lucky to have a husband like shivaay sir! So loyal and so head over in heels in love with you! He keeps on staring at your picture entire day! He gives us bonus on your birthday and also donates crores of ruppes in orphanage for you! He keeps on talking to your picture! He really loves you alot " reena said and Annika's heart swelled with alot of emotions!

Her thoughts broke when someone barged into the room and her eyes got the peace finding him infront of her after two years! The dark circles under his eyes presented his sleepless nights without her! His eyes welled up with tears depicted his condition without her!

"Annika " Shivaay finally said it out! He couldn't believe she was infront of him! He took baby steps towards her as a lone tear fall from his eyes! Reena immediately left leaving the couple alone!

Annika smiled seeing his fondness for her and took long steps towards him! Seeing her taking initiative too he immediately took her in a tight hug!

" She was here with him " he thought as his heart filled with

" I can't believe you are here " he exclaimed parting from the hug! She smiled whole heartedly!

" Please sit" he took her hand and made her sit on the main boss chair! He kneed infront of her as he took her hands in his!

" I don't know if it's a dream but if it is I don't want to wake up from the sleep ever " he said as he stared her gorgeous face! Pecking her fingers he crassed her hands feeling the moment whole heartedly!

" I missed you " he said taking her hands again and crassing his face with it!

" I know how much you missed me, you didn't even tried to contact me for even once! " She said! He looked at her in amused! He can't thank the god enough for bringing the chirpy Annika back! Her this aura was different! She was no more into the past and she was looking for a bright future! Giving her enough space helped her alot and he thank his stars that he took that decision and left everything on time!

" I know what you are thinking Shivaay! I guess I was somewhere stopping myself from progressing in my life! I am as much responsible for whatever happened in past as I took it without uttering anything! I can't blame you for everything if I would have taken stand for myself then probably we would have been able to mend our ways in a better way! You know whenever I think about past I feel anguished about the fact that I was living in that everyone must pitty me state and the state brought nothing but evil memories! Hence I decided to be strong Annika and live a happy life! As we say let bygones be bygones! And I am here to let you know that you don't need to be guilty about the past anymore and from now onwards we will start our life from a fresh probably as just friends " Shivaay felt numerous emotions in his heart with Annika's each sentence! He was glad that she was ready to move on! He was getting a hope that probably she is ready for a relationship with him yet again but " just friends" shattered something in him!

But thinking that they would have alot of opportunities to make new memories like they had always planned to do he understood her just friends thing!

" Shivaay " she called him bringing him out of his thoughts!

" So would you like to be my friend " she asked

" I am so glad to be your friend Miss Annika! And thanku for considering me worthy enough to be your friend! " To much of Annika's relief he got ready to not think much from their relation!

" Thanku so much " she exclaimed and gave him a hug! Inwardly he was so glad that he will get an opportunity to make new memories like he had always planned!

Past 5 month's

These past 6 month's they got to know each more than they did in the year's they had got married! He used to text her everyday! They used to chat like normal friends! She used to gossip with him he used to tell her about how his day went! They were sort of best friends! He used to send her gifts to cheer her up! They were becoming the college days shivaay and Annika!
