《Welcome home - One Piece x Reader》You should've asked!

Two months. You had roughly two months to prepare for your first visitation and the only description that you were able to conjure from Liv was that they're both huge.
'Thanks Liv but that's no help to me' you sighed.
You were a bit stressed from the idea of it. Obviously baking would never be stressful to you. You loved it way too much. No, the stress came from knowing that you were about to turn down a yonko and a king, because you want to remain secret. Oh the joy of keeping promises. You'd thought a lot about what Liv had said but your mind was already set.
——————————————————————————
You awoke to the sound of someone trying to break down your front door. This was followed by a lovely kiss from the ground.
"Ugh! I think I need to invest in a softer landing area around my bed" You groaned as you slowly lifted yourself off the floor.
'What on earth is going on?' You glanced at your clock and grimaced. 'No human should be awake at this hour. I don't need another person dying on my doorstep until after one'
'This person doesn't seem to know their own strength. They're gonna break down my door' you huffed as you snatched up some slippers and threw on your blue floral headband.
"I'm coming! I'm coming! So please stop abusing my door!" You cried out as you ran down the steps.
You were in your (f/c) oversized hoodie again with your bracelet hanging on your wrist. It was just so comfy. Your hair wasn't too messy, but you'd definitely had better days. Your flower headband seemed to distract from the messiness though. Because you felt so bad for your abused door, you didn't even look to see who was on the other side. You just swung it open.
"I'm sorry but do you realise what time it is!? What in Rodgers name could you possibly want at this hour!?" You began; the structure of your lecture quickly forming in your head.
The two men in front of weren't fazed in the slightest. Rephrase. The two giants in front of you weren't fazed in the slightest.
"Does the baker live here? We need to see him"
The man grinned.
'You know what? I think I would've preferred a dead body on my doorstep' you thought.
"Um yes! You're looking at her!" You said with a little irritation in your voice.
Both of the men stiffened.
"Neh~ Neh~ Are you sure? Are you sure? we weren't told that you were a female!" The man leaned in way too close, and like any other person would you stepped back.
"Stop it Trebol. You're too close" he sighed as he looked down on you. "Well that changes things a little" the taller one muttered to himself.

'Changes things? The only thing that's been changed right now is my sleep schedule!'
Now were your eyes starting to adjust to the lighting. You were now able to get a better look at the two men on your doorstep. The first man, who had no spacial awareness, was hunched over and looked like he was draped in a quilt. He had dark hair and almost looked as though he was dripping... he even had some snot hanging from his nose.
Without even thinking you picked up a pack of tissues, which were laying on the side table, and you offered it to the guy.
"You may need these" You gestured to the tissues in your hand. "You're ill right? You shouldn't be out this early if you've got a cold!" You lectured.
You genuinely didn't mean any harm, you just put two and two together and assumed that he was ill. I mean he was wrapped in a blanket and his nose was running. It was a very logical answer. But you were met with two blank faces.
"....Gahahahaha! She's a real riot this one! Wait till the young master hears about this!" Laughed the other taller man.
The man wore some bright face paint and had long brown hair. He was in bright red pants and was wearing an open white shirt. On top of that he wore a red cape which was adorned with what looked like a giant flower. It did look like a nice flower to you.
'Young master? I am getting two many questions and not enough answers too early in the morning' you huffed.
"Look! It's really early so if you're here for the bakery, I suggest that you wait until it opens!" You curtly nodded and closed the door.
Unfortunately the door didn't shut. There seemed to be a shiny unidentifiable obstacle was wedged between the door and the door frame. No, you knew what was there now. A sword. The door swung back open and you were met with two sinister smiles.
"Unfortunately Ms baker, this matter can't wait until your little bakery opens" the flower guy said. "Young master wants to see you now"
"Neh~ Neh~ I still have to carry her right Diamanté?!" The man, now known as Trebol, leaned in way too close to his partner.
You backed further away into your house whilst you grimaced at the thought. 'Carry me? Boy I don't even want you to touch me if you're sick!'
"You're too close Trebol. Whatever, just make it quivk" he sighed.
In that moment something shot from Trebol's hand.
"Agh!" You narrowly dodged it. "What do you think you're doing!" You screamed.
"Stop playing around Trebol!" Diamanté growled.
"I'm not! I'm not! She's really quick!" Trebol whined as he continued to try and catch you.

It was near misses every time. Anyone looking on the outside would probably think that you're a professional, but in reality, you were scared out of your mind. You've been through so many bad experiences your body has literally trained itself to dodge real threats.
"That's it! We've wasted enough time here!" Diamanté shouted as he placed his hand on the floor.
You jumped into the air to dodge another string of slime? That was hurtling towards you. However, when you landed the floor was rippling like waves and you began to lose your balance. You shrieked when you were finally caught in a string of slime.
"H-Hey! Wait! Let go of me! What do you think you-agh!" You were cut off with a quick blow to the neck, but not before a few tears escaped your eyes.
Everything went black.......
——————————————————————————
"KYAAAAA! She looks so cute! I bet she'd look lovely in some of my heels"
"Shut up Dellinger! She's not here so you can play dress up with her!"
"She technically is..."
"Would you two be quiet! We still have a job to do"
"Kyaaaa! Cold as ever Monet!"
You groaned slightly, and brought a hand to your throbbing head.
"It looks like she's waking up! Poor thing... I don't see why Trebol used so much force" the woman sighed. "Hey are you ok?"
You blinked a couple of times as you tried to adjust your eyes to the light blinding light.
"Ugh... what happened?" You groaned.
"You were man-handled and forced against your will to come and meet the young master" the short blonde answered a bit too happily.
"forced against what?....Young master?...." you repeated groggily.
You took in a sharp breath. The memories suddenly bombarding your brain with your worst nightmare. You were kidnapped.... again. You shot up and scurried to the edge of the fancy sofa that you were laying on. You frantically looked around the spacious room for an exit. However, the only one that was accessible was blocked by three unknown strangers.
"Woah woah woah... calm down (Y/n), we're not here to hurt you" one of the women reassured.
"How do you know my name?"
"Oh darling, who doesn't know you. You've become quite famous around here" she smiled.
She seemed to be very amused at your confusion and futile attempt to escape. She was clearly trying to hide this fact behind her wing but she failed.
'Wait...wings?...How did I only just notice that?'
You looked at the woman in surprise. She didn't have arms or legs. Instead, her arms were replaced with wings and her legs replaced with bird legs. Her long green hair flowing loosely down her back.
"You're a harpie..." you breathed. "You're much prettier than what the fairy tails say..." you whispered only to flush from embarrassment when you realised you'd said it out loud.
The harpie herself also blushed and looked away.
"Ugh! I didn't come here to watch you guys exchange compliments!" Yelled the blonde stomping on the floor; his heels making a small clacking sound.
"Dellinger just give her a minute to adjust! You guys are all so rough!" A woman dressed in a purple maids outfit walked over. Her long black hair bounced with every step she took. "Here! Drink this!" She ordered as she held out a glass of water.
You hesitantly reached out and took the glass. You took a sip, then you took a larger sip. Then you finished the drink.
"Thank you... I really needed that" you smiled at her.
"She needs me" she muttered to herself; eyes all sparkly and cheeks rosy red.
"I'm sorry, but can someone please explain to me what's going on right now? Who are you guys? Where am I?"
"Now she needs me to explain!" she smiled to herself. "Of course! My name is Baby 5, the harpie over there is Monet. The guy with no fashion sense is Dellinger! Oh! and you obviously don't need to introduce yourself, we already know who you are Ms (y/n)" Baby 5 informed whilst you nodded, making mental notes in your head.
"Right now, you are on the young masters ship, it's on the other side of the island to prevent anyone... leaving prematurely" Monet smirked.
"As for why you're here? The young master wants to have a private business discussion with you about your skills. Aren't you the lucky one!?" Dellinger giggled.
'Try waking up at the ungodly hour I did only to get kidnapped, and I'm pretty sure you'd beg to differ' you huffed to yourself
"And we're here to prepare you to meet him" Monet smiled and giggled. "You can't exactly go dressed like that" she pointed at you.
You looked at yourself and saw that you were still in your oversized hoodie. You flushed immediately and tried to pull the edges further down.
"I-In my defence, your friends didn't exactly give me time to change" you whispered.
"That's fine! Young master is dealing with Trebol and Diamanté as we speak. They weren't supposed to collect you like that" Baby 5 pinched the bridge of her nose and shook er head.
"Um... I have another question?... who is this young master ?"
"Why the great King of Dressrosa! Doflamingo Donquixote of course!"
'Oh come sweet mother of mercy... why do these things keep happening to me?'

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
