Sick or not,

in pain or not,

I was going to school tomorrow.

At least,

that's what my dad told me this afternoon.

Every time at 2 o'clock in the morning,

he'd come into my room,

and just stare at me.

I'd pretend I was asleep.

I'd pretend I never noticed him there

because his concern confused me.

And even though he thought

I was ignorant to his overwhelming fear,

I wasn't.

Sleep is a foreign specialty to me,

rare.

So of course I'd start to realize.

Dad was worried about me.

He looked at me

as if I'd disappear beneath his finger tips.

But I'm fine

I'm fine

I'll be fine.

If I were to disappear,

dad wouldn't have to worry about me.

If I were to just leave,

maybe dad will be fine, too.

I don't care if you don't know the person or if you have different views, but just don't. We need some more love here in this world. People can be so cruel nowadays, no matter the age, race, or gender, and it's disgusting. But until the next update, lets see who can guess my favorite number. Hint: It's between negative infinity and infinity, and it may or may not be a fraction, decimal, radical, or a simple whole number. Let the guessing games begin ;) |
