Dad bought me a necklace.

I guess he really is trying.

He talked to me yesterday,

and apologized for letting mom

get to his head.

But he loved her,

anyone could see that.

And even though I don't completely forgive him,

I kind of understand now.

And at least he seemed sincere

about his apologies.

But he's getting himself in check now,

going to AA and talking to

a therapist about his problems.

I should try that,

but I'm fine

I'm fine

they won't understand

but I'll be fine.
