《The Gifted Seer (Bk 1 of Seer Series) (Completed)》Chapter 23 (Edited)

A look of shock filled my face when the door opened, and it didn't show the janitor's room like I thought. I didn't say anything while I looked around to see that it was a room, kind of like a living room with couches, and it's own fireplace. My whole body was tense, because I didn't know where we were at and who was in the room with us. I just knew that this was something that I didn't like.
"Relax," Cami said, touching my arm, making me flinch and glare at her. She grinned and held her hands up in defeat, as if she said 'I give up'. "I'm not going to hurt you, Joes. You should know that by now." She gestured towards the room, probably wanting me to go in. "Now, come on in. We need to get into the room before someone comes by and sees this place"
I nodded my head and walked into the room, my whole body, tensing. I looked around the room to see that there were some students in here that I knew, who had teased me and such, even though we were like the same thing, probably.
"Hey, Cami," a male, Luke said, as if he knew it was her. He turned towards the door and saw me there. He had a grin on his face, but then it turned into a frown when he saw that my eyes were a light green color. He wrinkled his eyebrow in confusion, probably wondering why I was so angry. "What..."
"Reece," Cami replied. She nodded her head towards me. "Made her really mad."
Luke grunted and nodded his head. His eyes flashed a dangerous green, as if he was getting angry, also. "I'm going to kill him." There was a snarl on his face, and his whole body was tense as if he was wanting to hurt him, just 'cause he had made me mad. However, he didn't move an inch, as if he was waiting for a command.

"That won't be necessary," Michael said, coming into my view. He looked at my green eyes before bowing his head in submission. He probably knew that I wasn't in the mood to be challenged. "I do need you to get that power out of you, Miss Lone," he said. His voice was calm, as if he was trying to calm me down with it.
"Why?" I asked, my voice sounding more powerful than it had. I was going to get used to that. I had to roll my eyes when Voice chuckled.
"Because, it can burn you alive," he replied, softly. "What I want you to do is say Lena Juno Fou. It'll make a huge fireball, making it so that all of your power will be released into something that you can control."
I glanced at Cami. Right now, she was the only one that I had trusted. I was still mad at Luke, and I didn't want him to get near me.
Cami nodded her head. She looked at me, as if she knew that I was going to do what she said. She didn't look into my eyes, and I was glad that she didn't. "Do it. It'll be fine."
I grunted and nodded my head. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, relaxing myself kind of. I opened my eyes, and I could feel all of my powers going towards my hands. I made my hands as if I was holding a big ball and took a deep breath. "Lena Juno Fou," I muttered, looking at them.
A huge ball of fire appeared out of my hands, and I couldn't help but take a deep breath, surprised at what I could do. My magic was stronger than what I thought it would be, even though I was a half breed.

"Damn," I heard Reece say behind me.
My eyes narrowed when I heard Reece. A snarl appeared on my face, and I shot the fireball at him. Well, I shot it close to him, only giving him a small burn. I could feel all my anger go out with the ball of fire, leaving me kind of weak.
"Remind me not to get her angry," Cami said, while my eyes turned back to a normal green for me and almost falling.
Someone caught me and placed me in a seat. "Easy there, Tiger," the person said. There was a smile in his voice, as if he was glad that I was close to him. "You should be glad that the walls are fireproof."
I couldn't help it. I knew that it was Luke, and I hugged him. My nerves had gotten the best of me, almost making me blow my top. I knew control, some what, but I was still needing to learn it. "I'm sorry," I whispered to him.
I felt his warm embrace, and I knew that he had pulled me into a hug. "I know, Joesy," he said, using the nickname that he given me when we were younger. "And, I'm sorry, also." He sighed. "I had orders and..."
I placed a hand on his mouth and looked at him. A grin was on my face, like the ones that I had done only to him. "I know," I replied.
"Well, isn't this fun. Now, care to explain why you threw a fireball at me?" Reece asked, breaking from our moment.
I glared at him, my anger at bay for a minute. However, I knew that if he keeps it up, then I would fight him myself and show him what a girl could do. "Be glad it wasn't at you but at a wall. Next one will be at your head. Do you understand me?"
Reece held his hands in mock defeat. There was a devilish smirk on his face while he looked at me. "I wouldn't dream of it, Sweetheart."
