'' He says with a serious tone. When we arrive at the library we could see that we were alone. He finally let's go of me and looks at me. '' So what do you want to talk about? '' I roll my eyes. He sighs and looks at me with a serious expression.

'' Well, I wanted to remind you that you have no right to be angry at me. '' He crosses his arms. I furrow my eyebrows, '' What? So you mean that I should be thankful for what you did to my friends? '' I frown. '' I saved you Rima, these guys... they are no good! '' He yelled. I took a deep breath, '' And you mean that you are better? Listen, you little rich thing! When I looked at him all these memories were flushing back, I felt tears leaving my eyes. '' I'm hurting you? I'm hurting you huh? '' He faked chuckled, suddenly I felt him holding my wrist tighter. '' Rima. '' He said as he looked at Matthew. I turned at Matthew again, I see him widening his eyes at me. He looks around and I could see that he was panicking. '' Matthew please le- '' I tried to calm him down when he stopped me from coming towards him. '' You? Are you my mother? '' I felt my heart drop as he asked me that. '' Matthew, le- '' Suddenly we hear Richard cough, we look at him. He took his hand from his mouth and we could see blood on his hand and from his mouth. He looked at me for a second before he tripped, '' Dad! '' Matthew shouted. I looked at him, I was in shook. '' Call the ambulance! '' I hear Matthew shout. I took out my phone as my hand was shaking. Matthew saw my hand and took the phone from me. He dialed the number and called.

I was shaking really much and I didn't know what to do, I saw the blood coming out from his mouth. I tripped down on my knees beside him. I put his head on my knees. '' Richard! What's happening! '' I sob, he weakly smiles. '' Rima, I have cancer. '' I could my hear my heartbreak as he said it. I looked at him with wide eyes. '' No, you don't! '' I yelled I said as I heard Matthew panicking while talking on the phone. '' I only have two years to live. '' He slowly says. I held his hand tightly, '' No! No! No! '' I panicked. '' He giggles while blood is still coming out from his mouth.

Leila, Sejad, Afif and I were sitting in Leila's living room. '' Well, I don't have a problem with marrying your sister. '' Afif smiles at me as I felt disgusted. I sat on the couch with all my friends, we were watching Jumanji on Netflix. We heard a phone call, everyone looks around. We hear the sound coming from the kitchen. '' I'll bring it! '' Lucas says as he runs to the kitchen. A few seconds later he came back with my phone. '' Bro, someone who's called Leila is calling you. Is she your girlfriend. '' He asks as everyone looks at me. '' No, she is my client and Nawal's friend. '' Tell him as I take the phone from him. I answer the call,

'' '' She says between her sobs, I widen my eyes and my hands started sweating.

I hang up and immediately took my cars keys from the table, '' What is happening?! '' Logan asks. I look at them, '' Ryan, call Matthew and tell him that Nawal is in danger. Tell him to go to Leila's immediately before something happens. '' I say and he nods while his still confused. '' Where are you going? '' Logan asks, '' To Leila, I need to help Nawal. Her brother is beating her. '' I tell them and they gasp. '' Let us come with you! '' Ryan says, I sigh and nod. '' hurry up then!

I sit on the hospital chairs with dried blood in my hands. I'm shocked, I don't know if It's either about my dad or that I just found that Rima is my biologic mother. My heart is pounding so fast, I hear Rima crying beside me. I look at her, her hands is covering her face as her legs are shaking. I stroke her back, She slowly looks at me. She holds my hand tightly, '' I'm sorry Matthew. I'm so sorry! I'm sorry that found out this way, I wanted to tell you. But I didn't know how I would tell you. '' She tells me, I sigh loudly. '' I don't know what to say, I thought my mother was dead. My father never told me about you and who you were. It was hard living without a biologic mother. '' I say. She rests her head on my shoulder, '' I'm sorry my son, but I had to leave you and your father. If I didn't you would've gotten hurt. '' She sobs.

I understood. I got it. She's Muslim and her family members didn't want her to spend her life with an atheist, like Nawal. My mother is Muslim, she left us because she wouldn't want us to get hurt. Maybe Nawal is thinking the same, she doesn't want me to get hurt. Now I got it, my father didn't like Muslims after my mother let him. That's why he hated them, just because of my mother. '' I love you my son, I know you won't forgive me. But I want you to know that I love you and your father. '' She kisses my cheek. I look at her and smile, '' I will forgive you as long as you don't leave again, Mom. '' A big smile appears on her face, she wipes her tears away and hugs me. '' Please Mom, dad needs you. You need to save him, please. '' I say.

She looks at me, '' I will save him, I will stay by your side every day. '' She says, I look at her with a smile on my face. I kiss her forehead, '' Thank you. '' Suddenly I hear my phone call. I pick it up and see that Ryan is calling.

'' . '' I answer the call.

'' Nawal is in danger! Come to Leilas now before anything happens! ''
