Days passed into weeks, weeks into months, though Mehek was always shy and reserved but now she didn't even leave her room she only come out for dinner or lunch sometimes she had food in her room, Esha and Zeeshan tried to make her smile but it was all vain.

Many times Imad brought books for her thinking it will make her smile but she didn't even took them from him,

"Atif we had to do something." Giving her husband tea Neelam Hussain said

"I was thinking of doing the ruksati of Mehek." Sipping his tea he told her his plan

"Does...does Mehek knows about her marriage with Imad?" Neelam was afraid what will be Mehek's reaction if she doesn't know it, the poor girl is already going through alot

"If she knows or not but she is married to Imad, you talk to her."

"Mehek please, I promise you'll love it." Esha said as Mehek braid Esha's hair.

"Esha, you know I don't like social gathering." Today was mayon of Nigaar everyone was going there now Esha was trying to make Mehek also come with them

"Mehek it's a mayon of our cousin." When her braid was done Esha turned to her.

"I promise I'll attend her baraat."

"Are you sure you don't wanna come?" While leaving Esha again asked her

"Esha let it be if she doesn't want to come, Mehek when Imad will come can you please serve him dinner?" Neelam Hussain said, Mehek just nod her head,

Now she was alone in this big house, her tears has dried off but still thinking of her late father made her sad, everyone was trying to make her happy, trying to bring her back to life but she thinks now she doesn't have anyone,

She only cried once in front of everyone while hiding her face in her Taya jaan's chest, he resembles her father alot

The doorbell rang making her coming to trace, she quickly put her photo album back in her bag and went to open the main door.

"What happened?" Two officers who Mehek didn't know was holding Imad who was maybe unconscious.

"He got shot in his leg don't worry he okay now just unconscious, where is his room so we can lay him down there." One officer asked her, she told them the way of his room,

"Thank you so much for bringing him here." Mehek said as the police officers left, it will be very selfish of her if she left him alone in his room, She softly closed the door behind her, turning her attention to Imad

She has saw him many times, he is an ideal son, ideal brother and definitely an ideal human being, seeing him in this vulnerable state made her feel something,

Unwillingly she grabbed the chair and place it beside his bed, touching his forehead and brushed his hair away which was falling to his eyes, he stir in his sleep,

"You and Imad are married." Her father's last words enchos his silence room, the words has become foggy in her mind after the dreadful incident, was now crystal clear in front of her.

Does he knows? What he thinks of this relationship between them?

She doesn't believe in this marriage which doesn't hold her consent, she doesn't even remember it,

Imad hands grab her hand which was still in his hair and he hugged it in his sleep.

She tried to free her hand but didn't wanted to ruin his sleep after sometime of struggle she left it that way

In the morning she woke up before Imad, she was still sitting on the chair but her head was leaning in his bed,

She again tried to free her hand this time she successfully got it freed, she quickly left his room before he could see her

Imad who has just woke up from thought he heard someone's footstep, he opened his eyes saw his door closing, he changed his sleeping position when he felt a sharp thing in his arm,

Earring? He had saw this earring many times it was hers. Was she in his room? He felt a strange knot in his stomach. He placed it inside the drawer beside his bed

"Ya ALLAH!" Exiting bathroom he entered his room when he heard her voice, and she has turned to other side. Then he realized he is shirtless.

"I'm......I'm sorry." He quickly went to his wardrobe and took out a shirt and wore it

"You can turn around." Buttoning the shirt he told her, she first peaked from her shoulder then fully turned to him

"Breakfast." She put the tray forward for him to hold but instantly regretted it when she saw him crippling,

"Wait!" She told him and place the tray on the bed, picking his duvet she fold it.

"I've placed your medicine on the side table." Before leaving she stand on doorway and told him. Smiling he picked coffee mug, he can still feel her presence in his room.

He wonder what if she permanently shift to his room? what is he thinking? He felt ashamed of his thought, she is his cousin

Only if he knows what relationship they share
