"Do you have another colour for this dress?" Mehek asked the shopkeeper as he showed her two same dress but different colour.
"We only have these two colour of this dress."
"Then show me something else." The shopkeeper sigh and went to pick another dress
"You've rejected more then 7 dresses because of colour, do you have some colour in your mind that you want." It wasn't like Imad wasn't enjoying her presence near him but he didn't wanted to spend time with her in a shop
"I....don't know, I just don't want something so....... glittery?" Mehek didn't knew the word she has used was perfect or not
"Red will suit you." Shopkeeper returned with another dress, seeing the colour Imad said
"Simple red dress are okay but I can't weak simple on eid Esha will kill me, and heavy red dress make me think I'm going to wedding or something." There went his hope down he wanted to see her in red because it was his favorite colour
"How about dark brown? Do you have something in brown." Imad first asked her then turned to shopkeeper,
"I never had brown dress." Mehek said
At last their shopping was done Mehek bought the dress that Imad choose for her
"Do you wanna eat something?" Buckling his seat belt Imad asked her, she nod her negatively, she was talking to him in shop but now she again went to her silent mode
Imad wanted to spend some time to her but maybe she wasn't wanted to spend time with him, she said wanted some time to adjust with this relationship between them but if she is not willingly trying to spend time with him how will she adjust?

As Esha and Mehek saw the new moon, Esha quickly grabbed Mehek's hand and take her to the backside of the house,
"Esha! Wha........." Words didn't come out from Mehek's mouth as Esha pushed lightly forward to lawn

"Esha!" Mehek went to door when she heard noised behind when she turned around a gasp left her mouth
"You?.....you told Esha to do this?" Mehek wanted to come out as courageous and displeased in front of him but her voice said otherwise so.
"Maybe?" His hands in his pocket Imad shrugged his shoulder, when he saw Mehek clenching her dupatta he took his hands forward for her to hold, she looked at him with wide eyes, Imad nod his head. Hesitatedly she grabbed his hand, when her cold hand meet with his warm heat crept to her cheecks
That moment she cursed her pale skin that got red easily.
"I wanna be the first to see you dressed up tomorrow." Mehek eyes again got wide
"Baar-baar apni ankhen kyu barhi kar leti ho." Laughing he said.
"You'll be in mosque when I'll be dressed up." She ignored his playfulness
"Then don't come out from the room until I return." He said as if it is piece of cake.
"Should we sit down?"
"Where?" Mehek asked in return because there were no chair or bench to sit. Imad just point at the swing which was hanging out in mango tree
"There is place only for one person." Mehek again said
"It's okay you sit down I'll push the swing for you." He gently grabbed her shoulder and made her sit on the swing.
"When we first had our encounter you were sitting on the swing." Pushing the swing gently Imad said
"It's not like it happened twenty years ago or something that you are reminding me."
"Okay but do you remember who is the reason behind this swing here?" She turned her head little to see him
"It was you. You were around 5 when you got fight with a girl in play ground she refused to let swing so you came back home crying so Chachu tied this swing here for you." Mehek tried to remember that but why is that she didn't had memories of her in India

"How do you remember it?" Mehek asked him slowly
"Ammi has told this story many times."
"But she never told you about our marriage? why?"
"I don't....... Who is there?" Their moment was ruined when they heard some noise
Holding Mehek's hand he hide her behind him and went where noise came, there they saw a guy climbing boundary wall to go outside
"Spiderman niche aajao." He left Mehek's hand and said to the guy, the guy had a small torch in his mouth and a black backpack on his back, he slowly came down
"Who are you."
"Hi! I'm Natwar." He took out the torch from his mouth and take his hand out for imad to shake,
"Aur tum yaha chori karne aye they." Ignoring his hand Imad said not really asking
"Chori? Don't disrespect me I'm a businessman." The thief scoffed
"What kind of businessman left like this?" Imad first point at him then the boundary wall which he was climbing
"And how do you know English?" Imad turned to Mehek, that's her concern?
"Last month I went to a house that was an English teacher house there I got English book." The thief or Natwar as he called himself didn't bother to reply Imad
"You should have thought before coming to a police officer house for stealing."
"Who is police officer here?" He thought Imad is trying to scare him, offendedly Imad point at himself, him without even saying anything people already guessed he is an officer
"Sir! Sir I'm sorry I didn't knew this, please mujhe jail mein mat daliye mere chote chote bachhe to nahi Hai lekin Meri toh abhi Shaadi bhi nahi hui Hai, mam please apne Bhai ko samjhiye." The thief dramatically fall on his knees and grabbed Imad's leg,

"Whatever! Give back all the things that you have taken from here." Thief huffing pull his backpack and started taking things out of it, Mehek was surprised that inside a little bag he has taken many things not only some painting or a wall hanging Buddha but he also have kitchen utensils
"My book!" Mehek said as she snatched it away from him he was putting everything on the grass she didn't wanted her book to be placed there
"That's your book, I have to say you have a really good book collection. But most of the your books are horror you should read something else also." As if Mehek needed his advice
"Hogaya tumhara? Ab jao." Imad said, the thief got and was about to left but then Mehek again called him
"How did you manage to steal when everyone is awake inside the house." Curiosity was visible on Mehek's face
"Huh I'm an expert." Proud of himself the thief said but one look from Imad wiped his smirked away and left climbing the boundary wall
"Why didn't you arrest him."
"There is no need of it." Imad said as he collect the things from grass
"But Esha has locked the door." Mehek said as they went to door
"Maybe she didn't but you were so engaged with you husband that you didn't bothered to open it." Smirking Imad said when Mehek pulled the door knob the door opened making Mehek gasp then she turned to Imad glaring at him
"IPS officer ke gharwale hone ke Nate aap log ko bhi Thora satark rehna chahiye." Imad put all the things in living room and said
