《Started but Never Finished》GS ch.5

I counted while my little cousins hid. No one else wanted to play with them so I did. Thanksgiving was the one time of the year I saw my family. Every year we fly to Florida and stay in my grandma's huge house. This was the first year without Gabby.
"Ready or not here I come." I searched around the house. I found a couple of them but the rest of them were hiding very well. I bumped into someone while trying to get in the kitchen.
"My bad."
"You good."
I looked at the person. It was Travis, one of my cousins' boyfriends. Looking at him reminded me of something I read in Gabby's diary.
I did something really fucked up. I don't think Yandy would ever forgive me. Her boyfriend Travis just left my room. I know it was wrong for me to sleep with him but I just couldn't help myself. He's 18 and I'm 16. I haven't had sex since Malachi went to college. I tried to stay committed to him but when I saw Travis I lost all morals and self control.
Xoxo - Gabby.F
"You good Gina?"
I looked back at Travis.
"Uhm Yea."
He nodded and walked away. I went to find the rest of my cousins. After playing multiple games with my younger cousins we decided to watch a movie in the movie room. I popped some popcorn and gave them boxes of candy.
"Gina." My aunt yelled.
I grabbed my baby cousin who I was holding and went to the kitchen.
"Yes auntie."
"Come try this for me."
She stuck a fork out with her hand under it. I took the fork with my open hand.
"It could use more seasoning. It's kinda bland."

She nodded.
"So Gina, Your mom says you have a boyfriend." My other aunt said.
"Oh no. I was just talking to a boy who would take me home after practice but I don't talk to him anymore."
I stopped talking to Devon a week before thanksgiving break. I felt I was getting attached so I let him go. Reading Gabby's diary made me realize that I was falling like she was. And she fell hard.
Later that night I couldn't sleep. I went to the kitchen to get a snack. Travis was also in the kitchen. I've been wanting to ask about him and Gabby since I've seen him.
"Why you still up?" He asked me.
I shrugged. "Couldn't sleep. I guess."
I was avoiding conversation with him. I wonder how many times they've done it. I grabbed the Oreos and my bottle of cranberry juice. I sat at the counter and ate the cookies.
"Why'd you have sex with my sister?" I asked.
He looked at me.
"How you know about that?"
I shrugged.
"But why. You're dating Yandy. Why would you have sex with her cousin?"
"Uhm. I don't know. I remember Gabby coming to me about her boyfriend and I was just tryna help. It wasn't supposed to develop into a secret relationship."
A secret relationship. It was more than one time sex.
"So, you and Gabby had a secret relationship?"
"Yea but I ended it because I was feeling guilty.
I felt even worse when I found out she killed herself a week later."
So he's the boy she was feeling depressed over. I thought it had something to do with Malachi. I put the cookies back and went back to my room. I've always thought Gabby was an Angel. Maybe there's more to her than I know.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Tales of the 33rd universe - A Mech Designer story
Meet Marcus Caelum, since young he wanted nothing else to play with mechs. He studied, worked hard and he finally did it, now he is a Mech Designer (provisional). He achieved his dream and now is the time for realization, he now will learn that not all is great, that there are things to learn and that if he wants to do the job well he better adapt. Cover taken from a Battletech manual. This is my "first" novel so do forgive the quality a bit.It is mostly a Slice of life following what I believe a Mech Designer life would be. It will have action, science, comedy, dark moments and some adventure. It will barely have any romance and little actual combat (he won't go off fighting enemies everywhere, the MC is not a fighter). It's medium sci-fi, most hard science with some mana altering normal materials. The pacing is a bit slow, it takes some time for the story to advance. The first arc is completed and the novel is until further notice on HIATUS.I may continue the Tales of the 47th Universe to try my hand at another style and pacing. More info in chapter 22.

Thaum new Galaxy
Thaum an ancient mage of many lives decides to drift through the great void before starting a new life. Unknowingly centuries pass and he somehow finds himself in a new galaxy. One where Magic never passed the initial Druidic phase and died out. Instead, the people have taken to technology to improve their lives. They have progressed further than Thaum has ever seen. Traveling between worlds isn't a grand expedition with great magic, but as simple as boarding a ship and paying the boarding fee. Authors note - This story is intended to be a short novel. The MC is going to be OP as far as mages are concerned, but we will see what a sci-fi universe can throw at him. (suggestions welcome) p.s. he will try to make his impact overall a good one, but he is not a good person. He only chooses to do good. Unless it is too inconvenient. it also won't be particularly dark.

The Zodians - Book 1: The Outlander
"The past is written by the future. The king shall fall off his throne by thirteen men who have not been born." He is the mad king who tears a whole continent into two pieces without mercy. He wielded the dark magic from an arcane source, from just no one to The Supreme Emperor. His reign lasts for nearly two hundred years, and no one knows exactly how many dead bodies are lying under his throne. But this is not the story of him. His reign is over, and now comes an epic of The Thirteen Knights, who sent the death sentence to the Emperor. Who are they? And above all, what they have lost to become such a symbol? Blood. Love. Duty. Comes power, comes responsibility, a wise man used to say. Victory does not create a man, tragedy does. Each chapter is around 700 - 2000 words to make the reading more efficient. The main timeline takes place in 2000 years later from the battle in beginning chapters, when magic is no longer available.
