~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The great treasure horde of Erebor," you heard Thorin's voice say in a dark manner. "It all ! The king under the mountain! This mighty wealth belongs to no one else," he shouted coldly. You looked down at Bilbo with an open mouth. Bilbo was just as shocked by what Thorin was saying. This dragon sickness was an actual thing after all.
"You do realize you who sound like, do you not?" You asked Thorin.
"I sound like someone who is completely deserving of ! Do speak to me again unless it is of important matters," he went to turn away, but something in your skin-changer veins snapped.
You had, had it with this little charade. You would take no more of his kingly shit. You grabbed him roughly by the wrist; he turned to angrily. You ripped off his gold plated crown.
"You ! Get off of me!" He yelled at you.
"No. My self, the dwarves, and Bilbo have had enough," you began dragging him out of the large treasure room. Thorin cursed all the way up the hidden passage. You ripped off his large black robe and a few other things that symbolized power. You dropped the dwarf outside so he could breath the free air. Bilbo was more than happy to watch all of this go down.
"You miserable piece of filth!" Thorin said as he swung at you. You dodged it and grabbed his arms with a firm grip. You used a free hand to smack him across the face. He looked at you more focused now.
"Snap out of it Thorin! That gold has changed you! You are becoming something you're not!" You drilled the truth into him.
"Do not speak to me of CHANGE! You're the one who is all of the sudden! I have not changed! I am only being who I was bored to be! I am not Thorin I am-" you cut him off by kicking his feet from under him, he fell to the floor and you pinned his arms above his head.
"You listen here, and you listen well you little shit. If you don't get you're act together, That is not a lie, that is for a fact! There are legions of Orcs and Goblins headed this way. Sure, you're kin are coming as well, but if you don't do something fast, your kin will be less in numbers than they have EVER been. YOU your word to the men of the lake. I am taking you to Bard and you going to give him his rightful amount of treasure to rebuild his town. brought death and ruin to his people! You will give Bard this gold without complaint, understood? You are THORIN fucking, Oakenshield,
"You are going to give the eleven king Thranduil, his gems Thorin. Do you understand?" You were seething with rage you tried to not let the wolf inside you tear it's way out. It's growls became more evident in your voice.
Thorin began trying to push you off of him, but you pushed him back down, this seemed to get his attention more," ?!" You asked him.
"......," he breathed heavy," y-yes," he said softly.
"Louder! You agreeing to this is saving countless lives Thorin! I want to hear you say it !" You growled at him.
"YES! Alright? I will do it!" He almost had tears in his eyes. You slowly saw the dragon sickness leave his eyes.
"Good. When I get off of you, you will stay here with Bilbo. If you go running off or get any ideas, I will that kingly head from your shoulders. Do you understand me?" You growled at him. He nodded his head frantically.
You looked at Bilbo who was trying to hide a smile," Bilbo, I'm going to get the gems of Lasgalen. Do not let Oakenshield leave," you ordered him. Bilbo unsheathed his sword in response. You jumped off of Thorin who just lie there thunderstruck. You walked past Bilbo to go into the hidden passage when Bilbo spoke up.
"Y/n?" He asked
"Yes?" You looked back at him.
"What am I to do about that one thing?" Bilbo asked. That "one thing" was a reference to the Arkenstone that you knew Bilbo had.
"What one thing?" You heard Thorin ask and you both stared at him.
"If Thorin does as he's told," you spoke to both of them,"then you can give it to him. If he asks about it while I'm gone, do not answer him," you instructed Bilbo. You left and got the gems on that note.
You came out a moment later with the box full of the starlight gems," come Thorin," you told him," nice work Bilbo. Go back with the others and tell them what is going on," he nodded an went off. Thorin sat up and speechlessly followed you.
Together you climbed down the passage and onto the ground. You let out a sharp whistle. Thorin was about to question you, but then he saw a white steed galloping toward you. Being the skin changer you were, you could call upon certain animals. You hoisted the dwarf onto the stallions back and you mounted the horse yourself. You made haste for the city of Dale.
You stopped the horse before a yellow tent, inside Dale. You jumped off the horse and pulled Thorin off with you. You put a hand behind his back as you walked in.
"Y/n? Thorin?" What on earth are you doing here?" You were surprised to find Gandalf speaking to you.
"Yes, what brings a gold sick dwarf and a skin changer here?" Asked Thranduil.
"Good question, Thorin would you like to answer them," you had the Thranduil, Gandalf, and Bard intrigued.
"This woman has literally beaten the sickness out of me," Thorin began and the elves king laughed," I've come to realize that I did give my word to the men of the lake," Thorin looked to Bard," I have also realized that my kin had once kept there word to an elf king about gems," the King furrowed his brow at Thorin's words. You put the box in Thorin's hands and gave him a shove forward towards Thranduil and he groaned.
"Y/n also tells me that we are in need of allies for these armies of orcs and goblins and I see now, that she is right," he held the box out Thranduil. The whole room watched as Thranduil opened the box slowly and became teary- eyed at the contents. He took the box happily from Thorin's hands.
"I must say, that you have caught me completely off guard. I am grateful for this gift. I will think better of you, Thorin Oakenshield," Thranduil bowed his head and Thorin slightly returned it. Gandalf gave you a happy-smug-smile. You returned it.
Now Thorin turned to Bard," I will let you take your share from the horde," Thorin side-eyed you," but you must take ONLY what you need," Thorin said. Bard held his hand out to him.
"You have no idea how helpful that is. You've saved us....well most of us," Bard said recalling the dragon. You were surprised when Thorin shook Bard's hand after completing business; all eyes turned to you now.
"We are speechless on how you got the dwarf to do this y/n. You have more than just thanks from us; I name you friend of the elves," Thranduil told you and you bowed to him.
"You're both very welcome. Now, we have a bigger problem on our hands. Bard, you will get your gold to rebuild after all of this is over with. We must work together on this, agreed?," you told the men in the tents. In response they all agreed. You were about to say something, but your heard horns in the distance.
"Who on earth is that?" Bard said walking out, everyone followed. All five of you looked at the horizon where an army sat on the hill.
"Dain," Thorin smiled," my kin".
"We are allies in this Oakenshield, you'd do well to tell them that," Thranduil said to Thorin without looking at him.
"Understood," Thorin said as he marched down steps to speak with his cousin.
You went with Thorin and you told him what his prize was while you walked," I bet your just wondering what it could possibly be".
"Of course, I'm practically shaking, I'm so excited," he said sarcastically. You rolled your eyes.
"Fine, I guess the Arkenstone's not that important....," you looked at your nails and side-eyes him. He paused in his tracks and looked at you– mouth agape.
"Yeah, Bilbo found it. He was going to give it to Bard as an exchange that you might have peace and not war. He was only looking after you,Thorin," you continued walking and you heard him follow you.
"Maybe it was a good thing I wasn't informed of its whereabouts," Thorin looked at the ground. You put a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm proud of you. Now, I am honored to call you my king– even though I am no dwarf," you heard the mountain King chuckle at that.
"You have my thanks and gratitude. Mahal knows would have happened if you hadn't stepped in y/n," he gave you a small smile and you happily returned it.
