Fili x Reader
Imagine Fili coming across a singing, beautiful lady in a field of flowers.
Fili is in the woods, out hunting to clean the mind, and his cares slowly slip away when he heard the singing of a lady. He follows the sound to a field of flowers, and a lady sitting picking flowers. Little did he know that he had just met his future wife.

Fili needed to clear his mind. Orders at Erebor were getting really overwhelming. His brother would not stop badgering him on getting a girl, or doing something meaningful for once. The woods were his answer to all of these problems.
He would have plenty of time to walk and think to himself. Sure, he was the heir to the throne, but when it came down to it, he never felt more happy than when he was in the woods.
Fili had just come across deer tracks. He had his bow just in case he did decide to hunt. He saw no harm in the hunt so, why not? But then he heard it. A hum in the wind. It sounded so beautiful and smooth. It carried all through his body. It might even be safe to say that he even felt it in his heart.
He stood from his crouched position. Would he hear it again? He most certainly hoped so. He stood stalk still as if by moving, it would prevent him from hearing it again. He waited and he listened. Nothing. He was just about to turn around when he heard it again in the wind, this time louder.
Fili decided that he needed to find the source of this tune. For all Fili knew his ears could just be messing with him. He had nothing to lose, so with one foot in front of the other, he followed the hums in the wind.
As he got closer and closer, the hums became louder. He saw the tree line a few feet away-he followed it. It opened up to a vast valley of hills, flowers, and sunlight. The flowery smells entered his nose, imminently making him calm. His eyes scanned for whatever made that oh so glorious sound. He let out a faint gasp when he found what his eyes where looking for.
It was a lady. A beautiful lady from what he could tell. Her H/C hair had been puled back into a gorgeous braided bun. It shinned ever so brightly in the afternoon sun. She wore a long white dress, that flowed in the wind from where she sat. She sat delicately plucking little purple, white, and red flowers from the ground. She hadn't noticed Fili yet and a good things too, for she started to sing,

" On winds and waters may you cross, " Her voice was like silk in the wind as it reached Fili's ears.
" see mountains white and blue." She sang, getting louder, but it remained gentle and calm.
" But on your road, lest not forget
the love I have for you.
Dance on beaches in Anfalas,
sleep in moonlit fields of view.
May you cross another Golden Age
with preciousness free-flowing.
With Halfling, Elves and Dwarves engage,
their wisdom on you bestowing. "
As she finished the song, it melted into more soothing hums.It calmed Fili to his bones. He had to talk to this girl, this goddess. Slowly he began to make his way into the fields.
He stopped a few feet behind her, "That was beautiful," he said in awe. Much to his surprise, she turned around quick, the look on her angel face broke his heart. She looked scared, and scared of his presence. Fili knelt down and held his hands out to be submissive.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He pleaded, "I didn't mean to frighten you,my lady".
"I am sorry as well. I did not think anyone else was out here," She spoke in a gentle voice. The couple stared at each other for a moment, shock left the girl's face soon enough.
"Might I join you? I'm in need of something to relieve me of my worries from the castle at Erebor. And I think I just found what I've been looking for," he said honestly. The maiden saw his honest and saw it worth her time.
"Of course, my prince," well she obviously knew he was indeed the prince of Erebor, Fili thought to himself.
"Please call me Fili, " He said taking a seat beside of...well, he didn't know her name, so why not ask, right?
" What's your name?" he asked while fidgeting with the grass beneath his hands.
"I am Y/N," she said looking at him with those dreamy E/C eyes. as quick as she had looked at him, she dropped her gaze back to her hands.
"So, Y/N," Fili found that he liked the way your name sounded coming from his mouth,"what're you doing out here?"
"I could ask you the same thing. You are the prince after all." she bit back.

"Fair question. The palace gets a little overwhelming. It can weigh a person down with all the duties, meetings, and paper work. Ah, its a stupid reason I guess, " he looked ashamedly at the ground, "But what about you now,why are you out here in this lovely field?"
Y/N looked at him then back to the ground again, "A stupid reason, I guess."
He chuckled which made you look at him with a bit of a smile. He had noticed how you had mocked what he said. His humorous expression turned curious, "why are youreally out here?"
Y/N exhaled before admitting, "In truth I am out here for the same reason your are. I needed to...escape for a little while... think... The shop my parents own is in turmoil if we don't find don't something soon, we'll live on the streets. Sure as daylight." you said, sadly. You had tears threatening to spill over, but you were not going to let them. You jumped when you felt the pressure of a hand on your shoulder.
"If there's anything I can do to help..." he said sincerely. Okay, that did it, a couple tears escaped your hold. The sight of you crying nearly broke Fili's heart, as he wiped away some of your tears.
"Thank you, Fili." you made out. You gave him a shy smile and tried to stop the tears, you looked out in front of you watching the sunset, as did he dropping his hand to your back. "It's not a stupid reason to be out here to escape, even if it is just for a couple of minutes." you say, looking over at Fili who has an orange glow on his face from the sunset.
Fili looks over at you with a little smile on his face. "Thank you, y/n. You being out here isn't stupid either," Fili replies. You both turn to look back out at the sunset as it makes it slow journey down behind the mountains.
After a moment of watching it together, he leaned forward and plucked a couple red, purple, and white flowers from the ground. You were about to ask him what he was doing when he handed them out to you.
"Come back with me. Let me help you and your family, then let me spend some time with you. I would like to get to know you more, but only if you would like, my lady Y/N," he said certainly.
Was he really asking this of you? You were but a peasant dwarf girl, how could anything like this happen to you? You found you liked Fili's company and wouldn't mind spending more time with the golden haired dwarf. In your heart you felt his presence brought you peace. You took the flowers from his hand, purposefully brushing your fingers against his for a moment longer.
"I wouldn't mind doing this again sometime. I too would like to get to know you more my pr- uh, Fili, I mean," You giggled your face getting red. He noticed and laughed as well at the awkwardness. "I'd love to Fili. Thank you," You said tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. Fili stood up first, to give you a hand to stand up. The world seemed to hum as you walked off together hand in hand.
In the future
The applause was loud in your ear as you walked away from the wedding alter. You spotted your parents, who now owned the best shop in all of the dwarven kingdom. One of your hands was wrapped under Fili's arm, the other carried a bouquet of beautiful flowers of red, purple, and white picked from the Valley of Anfalas, where you two had met. You couldn't help but smile brightly at the thought. Your mind was set on your future with your prince, and your heart was overwhelmed with warmth and love.
He turned and gave you a deep and passionate kiss as the same red, purple, and white flower petals fell from the sky. The crowd and music around you faded away into the back ground as you kissed back your prince.
