《The Unwanted Mate》Chapter 18

ARIANNA..
I looked up at Hunter.
"You did all this just to marry me?"
"Baby...I would do anything for you."
"Then let's do it."
The next 8 hours were filled with chaos. People that I have never seen before, ran around the mansion. Hunter and I were separated to get fitted for our wedding attire. Marissa stayed with me, and my parents went into town to buy new clothes for tonight. Of course, Hunter had everything charged to him, so my parents did not pay a cent. The gown I chose was not traditional. Keeping with the Blue moon tonight, I chose an ice blue silk gown. It flowed well below my ankles and had to be hemmed. The seamstress was very careful with my measurements, and when she finished the dress 4 hours later, it was perfect. I chose blue carnations to wear like a crown in my hair, and blue and white roses for a bouquet. Marissa wore a dark blue dress as my matron of honor. There was so much going on, I didn't know what to do. I constantly felt like I was in someone's way, and ended up retreating to my bedroom. I got a mind-link from Hunter.
Where are you?
In our room.
A few minutes later, he arrived and I jumped into his arms.
"I missed you."
"Did you now? How much?"
"More than words can describe. Don't leave me again."
"Baby...I'm always nearby you."
"I love you."
"I love you too. You okay?"
"It's just...so much going on. I don't know what to do?"
"There's nothing for us to do for a few hours. We could spend that time in bed."
"That sounds good to me."
Hunter tossed me on the bed. I gasped, then laughed. He gave me a playful growl as he came up on the bed towards me.

"You're incredible. I can't get enough of you."
"Then, take me…"
Before we even had a chance to get hot and heavy, we got a banging on our door.
"You two better not be doing the nasty! The wedding planners need you guys outside!"
Hunter rolled off of me and growled.
"I might have to kill your friend, baby."
"I may do it myself."
We begrudgingly got up and followed Marissa out to the courtyard where the wedding ceremony would be held. They already had chairs lined up in rows and an archway set up. The wedding planner rushed over and bowed.
"We just need to know your color scheme."
"I kinda thought white and blue."
"Great! We have a florist on standby. They are going to put together the perfect arrangements for you."
She rambled on, but I could see that Hunter wasn't listening. He looked around and wandered toward the archway. When the wedding planner finished, I followed him over.
"Hunter?"
He had his back to me.
"I don't deserve you...you know?"
"Hey...I thought we moved past this?"
"I just...you deserve more."
"More than this? Hunter...I don't want more. I wouldn't care if we lived in a tiny shack. I only need you."
"How could you love someone like me?"
"Hunter…"
I moved around until I was in front of him and forced myself into his arms.
"I love you because you have shown me your true self. You have given yourself to me, and you are mine now. I won't let you go. You gave me your heart, but I also gave you mine. I love you. I'm not going anywhere, and no matter what hardships we face, we will face it together."

"You're my world, Arianna. You're all I ever want."
"Me too."
Hunter pulled me into his big strong arms and held me. I listened to his heartbeat. That heart, that only beats for me.
"Arianna, thank you."
"For what?"
"For being so amazing. For forgiving me. For loving me. For marrying me. For everything."
"You are welcome. Now...I need food. Let's go eat before I starve to death."
"I can't have that."
Hunter picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder.
"Hunter!"
He only laughed and carried me to the kitchen. He finally put me down, then we stole some of the catered food for later, and ran off before the caterers noticed. We barely finished our food when the wedding planners found us again, and drug us off for last minute questions. An hour before the wedding was to start, we were separated into seperate rooms to get ready. My mom and Marissa joined me to get ready and help me get ready. My Dad and Zander went with Hunter to get ready.
"I hope Dad doesn't give Hunter a hard time."
"Don't worry sweetie. I already threatened him. He'll behave."
We all laughed and continued to get ready. Marissa looked beautiful in her dark blue dress. Mom got a blue dress to match the theme. Marissa helped with my makeup while Mom did my hair. She curled it and pinned it up, then put on my crown of flowers. I shimmied into my dress very carefully, then looked in the mirror.
"Hunter is going to pass out when he sees you coming. You are sexy as hell girl!"
"I agree with Marissa. You look amazing dear."
"Thanks...I'm super nervous now."
"Don't be. He loves you. A Mother always knows."
"Thanks Mom. Don't cry...it'll make me cry."
The wedding planner barged in.
"Are you ready? 5 minutes to go."
"I guess we better get going."

It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
