To encourage others to read your story and to personalize it even more, add a cover!

You can choose from the pictures on your phone or use the (available on all platforms).

Please keep in mind that by default, the cover image resolution is 512x800, and that images need to be in png, jpg, or jpeg format.

On the Windows Phone app:

1. Tap on the three lines in the upper left-hand corner

2. Select Create

3. Select the story you want to add a cover to

4. Tap on Edit Cover

5. Select either a photo on your phone or tap on the camera icon (camera) to take a photo

On the Android app:

1. Tap on the pencil icon on the bottom menu bar

2. Select Edit Another Story

3. Select the story you'd like to add a cover to

4. Tap on Add cover or Edit Cover

5. Select either Photos or Create Cover

On the iOS app:

1. Tap on the pencil icon on the bottom menu bar

2. Select Edit Another Story

3. Tap on the story you'd like to add a cover to

4. Tap on Add cover or Edit Cover

5. Select either Photos or Create Cover

6. If you selected Photos, you'll have to choose between Take Photo and Choosing existing

On the Wattpad website:

1. Click on

2. Select the story you'd like to add a cover to

3. Hover over the blue pencil icon in the lower left corner of the cover

4. Click on Edit your cover

5. Select either Upload Cover or Create cover
