"Your true age is beginning to show on your face." Harmony whispered as she stood at the side of my desk. I glanced at her beauty quickly, before looking back down. I had to many papers to fill out. Slowly a smile formed on my lips as i remebered her sight. She wore a long flowing silk gown that flowed to her feet. The neck line was far from modest giving me full view of her bountiful clevage. Black lace adorned her beautiful arms as her hair flowed to her shoulders. "What a poor attempt to get my attention, Angel." I whispered signing off on a document for the royal guards. "Come now, it did grasp your attention." I could hear the smile in her voice, I smiled flipping a page. "What can i possibly do for you my Angel. I am working very hard for the good of the kingdom." I waited for her answer.
"These halls have a haunted past, each corrodor more dreadful than the last. One wonders why such horrors are still in place when happiness use to walk its halls. Though the halls themselves no longer stand. " I heard the slight shuffle of her shoes as she began to walk away. She stopped feet from my desk, i could feel her gaze shift as she looked away from me. Through the bond i could feel an overwhelming saddness that was not my own. What was she talking about? did it have anything to do with the murderer that occured here long ago? "Harmony" I whispered pushing back from my chair. Her form silhoutted against the moon light as her hand was lightly placed on the window. I wanted so badly to comfort her.
I wanted to take her pain away, she would not tell me everything about her past. I knew that if i pushed her, she would become withdrawn as she had the first time. Slowly the gap between us shortened, as i wrapped my arms around her delicate waist. Her scent intoxicated me as i laid my head in her hair. "Tell me, what is this sadness that lingers in your heart?" Her hands slid over my arms as her body relaxed into mine. "I wish time would stop" she whispered. I pressed my lips to her hair tightening my grip. It felt as if she were a thousand miles away, though she was right here in my arms. To comfort her was all i ever wanted to do, i only wished she would let me. "I love you." I whispered. "I know." she whispered back.

I lifted my head turning her in my arms so she faced me. I looked down into her beautiful brown eyes. "If time stopped, life would not go on. If time stopped we would have never have met. Good comes out of a slowly rotating world where evil does not last forever." I was living proof of that. She averted her gaze staring down at my crimson colored tie. Slowly, her fingers played with the trimmings as she accepted my words. "I want to be with you forever" she whispered. "Harmony." I whispered hugging her tightly to my chest. I loved the feeling of her body near mine. I loved the beautiful melodic tone of her voice.
The sweetness of her blood. "Say it once more, please." I asked her, desperately pulling back to look at her. She looked at me as if i were crazy." Please, say it again." "I want to be with you forever" Her hands caressed my cheeks. "Lance." she whispered "There are so many things that i want to tell you. I will tell you in time, so please bare with me a little longer. I love you.I always will, never doubt that." "Harmony your so foolish" I whispered. She gasped trying to move away, i chuckled keeping her against me. "My Angel, your words are more than dangerous." I moved forward making her fumble as she awkwardly walked backwards in my arms. She jumped slightly as her back hit the wall. "I am the happiest man alive right now. To hear from my Angel's lips, that i am her one true love warms my heart." She smiled a breath taking smile.
I kissed her roughly pressing my body against hers. Our lips moved together as one. I felt her grip tightly to my chest, her fingers knotting in my shirt. A moan escaped her lips as i released her waist putting my hands on either sides of her head. I groaned trying to control the urge to push her onto the floor. My tongue tasted her sweet bottom lip as she opened her mouth. My tongue danced with hers leaving me void of reason. My hands trailed down her shapely form until i lifted her by the back of her thighs lifting her against me. She didnt break the kiss as i walked forward. My senses were on high as i laid her on top of my desk. The papers did not matter to me anymore. The only thing that mattered was my Angel. My Harmony.
My eyesbfluttered as i opened my eyes to an empty white ceiling. My hand searched for Harmony's body beside mine. Her scent was loud beside me driving my senses wild. "Harmony I" My hand was empty as i turned over. "Harmony!" I yelled as i looked at the empty sheets beside me. I stood running to the bathroom door. "Harmony!" Her things still remain only she didn't. "Harmony!" I yelled. I roared in agony, it felt as if my entire being was shutting down. My senses indulged in her scent as my mind whirled. I wanted to be beside her. I wanted her!

I roared again my roar shaking the ground beneath me. I felt bloody tears sting my eyes. I felt arms trying to hold my limbs down. I fought against the blur that surrounded me. I could feel the coldness against my skin. Hands trying to grab me. I could heaer the faint sounds of voices shout my name. Harmony. Why leave me here by myself? Why not tell me! I would do anything for you! Come back to me.
I could see the dust on my hands, her dust. It was as if it would never fade. I could see the green ground beneath me. I could see her beauty covered in blood. The life that was fading from my Angel's eyes. "Kill me!" I yelled. "Please." My haze broke as i stared directly at the door. I could smell my mothers scent, the scent of roses. "If you have any decency left. Just kill the life you brought into the world instead of watching me suffer." I watched as her eyes filled with tears. She ran from the room i could hear her footsteps in the hall. "Sir are you alright." I didn't look up from the floor as i nodded. "Leave me." I whispered. I could hear the footsteps of ten guards as they left. I was not going to make it. Sleeping was the only way i found peace anymore When my eyes opened reality would eat me alive. My phone viberated on the dresser.
I grabbed the bottom stair that led to the bed using it as a leverage to pull myself up. The coldness of the floor did little to sooth me as i pulled myself closer to the dresser. My fingers touched the cool surface of the phone. I grabbed it bringing it to my ear. "Lance, just a little longer" Charity's voice said to me. "A little longer until what? Until Harmony comes back to me?" I whispered my voice thick with venom. "Her revenge, you must finish it. I will not make it to the end." "Listen before you do anything rash! i know this will not bring her back, but be strong for her."
"Are you mocking me?!" i growled teeth bared. "Everything reminds me of her." I seethed. "Everything, i am going crazy trying to fight this." "Leave the castle. Your torturing yourself. You have done your job." I sighed taking in the scent of her that lingered in the air. I laid my head against the dresser feeling the hard knob pressing into my temple. "I read somewhere that once a mate is gone, the other soon follows. I hate how true it is." "I'm coming, Lance please don't do anything rash. I'm coming" "The guards will catch you" I whispered staring at the painting of Harmony and I that hung on the opposite wall.

I stared at jessica as she stared at me with sleep filled eyes. "I am going to get Lance" I whispered kissing her cheek. I arose from the bed pulling on my pants. He would not last long as he said. I knew he wouldn't, but he needed to see my sisters wish through. It was wrong of me to let him watch his family fall apart, but he had too. Harmony had been right about getting the kingdom back. It was far to important to have just let it be. I closed the door behind me, as i walked into the halls of the Alpha house. We were staying here until the entire pack made it back to romania it wouldn't be long now. It would not be long unil Lance finally killed himself.
He was right in more ways than one. No mate could out live the other for long. I could only imagine the pain he was going through. The soul shattering emptiness of knowing that i would never lay eyes on the woman i loved forever. Forever was a long time for us, forever to be driven slowly insane until we are begging to be killed. My sister was getting her revenge, at the cost of hurting her own mate. Revenge would only take a person so far before they are more evil than the person whom wronged them first. I could feel a strong gaze fall upon me as i left the pack house. The gaze was familiar and cleverly hidden amongst the trees. "Day two is over" I whispered before running into the trees.

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)
