《Complete // Stiles Stilinski [3]》11

This is what wasn't included into the writing, that was in the show: Cory was killed by the Dread Doctors. Theo lied to Scott about Stiles killing Donovan, saying that he went crazy and beat the shit out of him till he died. Hayden and Liam tried to run away, only to be stopped by the Dread Doctors at Cinema. Scott and Theo tried to help but they still got to Hayden, putting mercury into her body. Scott and Stiles 'broke up' because Scott didn't belive Stiles. Scott refused to bite Hayden.
At the Police Station, they got calls about a huge beast running around Beacon Hills (The Beast of whatever, idk how to spell it.) Melissa comes to the Vet and tries to help Hayden. The Supermoon is happening. Lydia finds out that Liam will try and kill Scott and THAT BITCH THEO HURTS MY BOO LYDIA CAUSE HE A LITTLE BITCH! Melissa and Liam take Hayden to the hospital. Scott finds the truth out about Theo and Theo traps him in the Library. Liam fights Scott and Malia fights that one chimera (idk his name, i think Noah. The one that poisons Sheriff). Braeden helps Malia.
Stiles followed Parrish who was going to get Cory's body. Stiles calls Theo for help AND MY BADASS BF PUNCHES THAT BITCH! Stiles's dad got hurt and is in the hospital. Theo kills Scott but Melissa brings him back.
"Is she dying?" Mason asked Melissa.
"With the amount of mercury in her body right now, she shouldn't be alive."
Melissa tried to help. There was just nothing she could do. I was going to die any second now and I didn't get to say goodbye. Scott never found Valerie, Liam never came back. Mason went to get him but it was too late.
Melissa held onto my hand as I fought for life. I don't think she knew, but her being there beside me helped a lot. I tried to live. I wanted to live. But I couldn't fight any longer. I thought it would hurt, but as I took my last breath, all I felt was peace.
My body shot up from where ever I was. I held onto my chest as I tried to breath. She's dead. Hayden is dead. I felt it. I felt every second of it. Just like every other one.
I looked around at my surroundings and saw that I was in my room. I was alone, still in my clothes from... Gosh I don't even know how long it's been. The same clothes when Liam, Hayden, and I were taken.
I was weak. I could barely stand up from my bed I was so weak. It's obviously been a long time because my body is withdrawal-ed from blood.
"L-Lena?" I called out, hoping she was home.
I heard something drop and shatter, then I heard footsteps run into my bedroom. And there she was. Standing in my doorway with a smile on her face and tears running down her cheeks.
"Oh, thank God you're okay!" She said and tackled me in a hug.
I hugged her back tightly, but then pushed her away forcefully when all I could think about was the blood in her body.
"Oh, you must be hungry. I'll be right back." Lena hurried out of my room, then came back with two bottles of animal blood.
It was weird of her to help me like this, but since she knew about what I was, we keep blood in the house. We keep it in the back of the fridge where no one can see it. We started doing this when I came back from Mystic Falls.

I gladly accepted each bottle and downed them quickly. Already feeling satisfied and more like my self.
"How long have I been out?" I asked her.
"5 days," she replied.
"What? That long? Damn..." I trailed off. Then it hit me. "My friends! I have to see them! Something bad has happened. I-I have to go!"
"You need to take a shower, you smell really bad. Your friends have handled 5 days without you, they can go 30 more minutes. Take a shower, wash up. I'll call them for you and let them know you're awake."
She kissed my forehead and left my room. I followed her advice and took a shower, but a quick one. I can't waste any more time.
I towel-dried my hair and got clean clothes. Then I braided my hair to the side and met Lena in the kitchen, who was cleaning a broken glass on the floor. She had a sad look on her face so I knew something was wrong.
"Sheriff Stilinski is hurt. Really bad," she said. "He's at the hospital."
"How- how do you know?" I walked to the front door, looking around for my car keys. I always leave them on the table by the door.
"I called Lydia but she didn't answer. Stiles next, he didn't answer. So I called Melissa and she told me he's in surgery right now. A lot has happened tonight, you need to talk to them." She dug through her pocket and pulled out my car keys. "They found these at the school the night you went missing. A boy named Theo brought your car back."
I grimaced the second she said his name. Stiles was right all along. We should have never trusted him. He was working for the Dread Doctors. I saw him in memories of dead chimeras. I watched him kill Josh.
I took the keys from her hand and thanked her. I was about to rush out the door but I had to do something first. I turned around and pulled Lena into a tight hug.
"I love you," I told her.
She pulled out with a smile and responded, "I love you, too. Be safe, please."
I said goodbye once more and went down the stairs out to the parking lot and got in my car.
When I got to the hospital, I figured if Sheriff Stilinski was in surgery, Stiles would have to be in the waiting room. So I went there first.
When I turned around the corner I saw him sitting there, head in his hands and tears on his face. My heart broke just looking at him.
"Stiles," I choked out.
His head shot up. In seconds he was out of the chair and into my arms. I held on tight and rubbed his back.
"I didn't think you'd wake up," he whispered into my hair.
"I'm okay, I'm okay," I cooed.
"How'd you know I was here?" He asked.
"Melissa told Lena. I got here as fast as I could."
"You have no idea how scared I was when you went missing," he mumbled into my hair.
"I'm okay. I'm not going anywhere, I promise."
Neither of us let go. We just stood there in each others arms. We probably would have stayed like this for a little while until I saw Melissa approaching us over Stiles's shoulder.
"He's okay," she said. Stiles let out a sigh and relaxed a bit. "Dr. Geyer is stitching him up right now."

"Okay, I want to see him," Stiles whispered and tried to walk away but she stopped him.
"Okay, okay. The anesthesia needs to wear off. It's gonna be at least two hours."
"Let me in there. I need to help him," I said, rubbing my hands together nervously.
"Brianna, Stiles, he's gonna be just fine." Melissa said with a smile and she looked at me. "I don't think you're ability is needed at the moment. Just, let him rest up. If anything else happens, we'll come back to that."
Melissa left us sitting in the waiting room. I layed my head on his shoulder and held on his hand, rubbing circles with my thumb on the back.
"We need to talk about something," I said finally.
"What is it? Did something happen?" He asked nervously.
"Something was happening while I was asleep..."
"Is this about whatever was holding you back? Lena explained that what ever was going through your mind, was holding you down from being woke up. Do you remember what it was?" He asked me curiously.
"I remember everything." I closed my eyes. I wish I didn't remember it at all. "I saw... Everything."
"Wh-what'd you see?"
"The Nemeton showed me the truth. It's been showing me this whole time I just- I never remembered. Because I died there, I am connected to it. It drew me there and showed me the chimera's. It showed me from the second they were taken by the Dread Doctors, to the second they died. I lived it in their point of view, I felt what they felt, heard what they heard. It was awful..." I shook my head and tried not to remember. But, how could someone forget that?
Stiles's face showed absolute fear and sadness, then guilt.
"So you saw-" He stopped him self and took a deep breath.
"What I saw, was you defending yourself. I saw-" he stood up and kept his back to me.
"I don't want to talk about this right now," he said, a hint of anger in his voice.
"Stiles, it's ok-"
"No, it's not. Brianna, please... I can't-- I don't want to talk about his right now."
I obeyed his wishes and kept my mouth shut. He didn't sit back down. He just stood there with his back to me.
***
"Two hours ago, he was fine. Now he looks like someone took a baseball bat to his neck," Stiles said angrily.
"There could've been some minor internal," Dr. Geyer explained.
I should have done something when I had the chance. I should have done this hours ago whether he was okay or not. Now he's even worse.
"Did you say, 'Minor Internal'? Since when is anything internal minor?"
"Stiles.." Melissa began.
"I need to know what's going on with him, okay? Dr. Geyer, somebody needs to tell me what's happening. Somebody needs to tell me what's happening to him!" Stiles yelled.
I grabbed his hand to comfort him but he just shook me off. I wasn't hurt or anything, he's angry and upset. He has the right to.
"We don't know," Melissa replied.
I watched Stiles's eyes moved to the doors behind us. I looked through the window and Scott standing in the doorway of Sheriff's room.
Stiles charged towards the door, pushing them open angrily. He walked right up to Scott and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. He slammed him up against the wall before pulling him down to the ground.
"Where were you? You trusted him. You believed him. Right, huh? So, where were you? Where the hell were you?!"
"Stop it!" Melissa yelled. It took me, Dr. Geyer, and a guard to pull him off of Scott. Melissa pulled Scott up off the ground and we held both the boys back.
"Okay, all right, all right." Stiles panted.
Scott sighed and avoided eye contact with Stiles as he said, "Look, your dads not the only one who got hurt."
I looked down at the blood on Scott's shirt.
"Oh, you'll heal," Stiles said coldly.
Scott looked down at the blood stain on his shirt and tried to hide it with his jacket.
"I'm not talking about me," he replied.
"Is this about Hayden?" When I said her name I got a flashback to one of the times the Dread Doctors stuck a needle into her neck and inserted mercury. I flinched but realized it wasn't real.
Once Scott explained that Lydia got hurt and told us where her room was I ran off. I think Stiles was behind me but I wasn't sure because I ran so fast.
"Oh my gosh," I gasped and my hand flew to my mouth when saw her laying in that bed. I looked down at the bandages wrapped around her fingers.
Her body was pale, with beads of sweat on her forehead. She didn't even move or blink. She just lied there motionless.
Stiles walked in behind me. Her mom was sitting on the bed and when she saw us, she didn't look happy.
"No," she said and got up off the bed. "No, you don't. You're not coming in here."
"Please, Mrs. Martin-" I began but she cut me off.
"Get out!"
Stiles pushed around me and walked up to her. "Just wait, wait. I think I know who did this. I just need to look at the back of her neck."
"I know who did this," she said angrily. "You!" she pushed Stiles in the chest.
I reacted by jumping in front of him. I was ready to fight the bitch if I had to.
"All of you did this! Get out!" She was literally pushing us out the door.
"Come on, please. You gotta listen to me. You just gotta check the back of her-"
"Just get out! Out!" She slammed the door in our faces.
"Dammit!" I yelled angrily and kicked the wall. I kicked the wall so hard I'm surprised I didn't bust a hole through. I hissed in pain and placed my hand on the wall so I wouldn't fall.
"You okay?" Stiles asked, placing his hand on my arm.
"I'm fine. Let's just figure out what happened to her." Stiles and I went to an empty operating room where Parrish, Melissa, and Scott were.
"It could be a side effect of shock," said Parrish.
"She's catatonic. It was Theo digging his way through her mind," Stiles explained.
"Why would he do that? What is he looking for?" Melissa asked rhetorically.
"The same thing he's always looking for," I said and crossed my arms over my chest. "An advantage."
"So what did he gain by trying to kill Stilinski?" Parrish asked.
"It left me alone with Liam. Theo wanted to make sure that nobody would stop him from killing me," Scott replied.
Stiles said, "Okay, so he gutted my dad as a distraction."
"We need to find this kid," Parrish remarked.
"Isn't that a little dangerous? Especially since he almost killed my kid?" Melissa was mad. We all were.
"He killed Josh. I saw it happen," I spoke up.
"Yeah, but he said he didn't want my dad to die," Stiles pointed out.
"And you believe him?"
Stiles nodded, "He told me where to find him. So, maybe he knows how to save him."
"Forget Theo, I'm saving your dad. Just let me in there," I directed this comment toward Melissa.
"Even if Brianna saves him, we still need to find Theo. He's dangerous," Scott spoke up.
"What do you want to do? Talk to him?" Melissa asked.
"We just need to talk to him. If he thinks my dad is still dying, maybe this gives us an advantage," Stiles said.
"To what? Trick him. He's been tricking us this whole time," I exasperated.
"We just need to know what his plan is," Scott began and looked at Stiles. "I'll come with you. He doesn't know I'm alive. Maybe that's another advantage."
"He'll know your there," Stiles said, beginning to walk out. "I just need to talk to him. Not fight him."
"Stiles, you can't go alone," I said stopping him.
"Does anyone know how to even find him?" Parrish spoke up.
"We don't have to find him. He'll come to me," said Stiles.
"I should be there. What if he tries something?"
"I'll be fine. You just need to save my dad," he said and walked out.
I turned to Melissa with a sour look on my face. "You going to let me save him now?"
Melissa turned around and rummaged through some door, then pulled out a syringe.
I gave her a fake smile and took it from her. I like Melissa, I do. But Sheriff Stilinski is suffering and in pain right now when he could already be healed. She shouldn't have stopped me earlier.
Dr. Geyer was standing outside of his room, talking to a nurse.
"Dr. Geyer, hi," I gretted him. "My name is Brianna Hollis, you don't know me, I'm-"
"Your Ryan Hollis's daughter. I worked with him for a short while, I'm very sorry for your loss. He was a great doctor." I stood there in shock of his response. My dad and I had only been here a short period of time I didn't even realize people remembered him.
Here I was, about to lie to Dr. Geyer, saying I had a cure for Sheriff Stilinski. But now I'm speechless and frozen. I don't even talk about my dad that much. It's a touchy subject.
"Dr. Geyer, Brianna is friends with Stiles. She's here to see Sheriff Stilinski," Melissa spoke up. Friends? Excuse me?
"I'm sorry, family only. Sheriff Stilinski is in critical care. Besides, visiting hours are way pass over," Dr. Geyer said.
"I am family," I responded.
"I'm sorry, Brianna. But I would be breaking policy if I let you in there."
Okay, time for a different method. I placed one hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes, "You'll make an exception for me. You will walk away and not even remember me going in here. Sheriff Stilinski will make a full recovery from your surgery. He will get to leave in 24 hours."
Dr. Geyer stared at me in a trance after the compulsion I just did on him. He nodded and then walked away.
"Well, that's new," Melissa said as she followed me into Sheriff Stilinski's room.
"It's a cool power," I shrugged.
I watched Melissa close the door behind us. We both stood on either side of Sheriff Stilinski. I wasn't sure if he was asleep, or just to weak to open his eyes. I felt bad for him. I can't imagine what would happen if I wasn't able to do this.
"Chimera," Sheriff whispered.
"Did he say-?" Melissa asked and I nodded.
"A chimera did this to him?" I asked rhetorically.
I let Melissa stick the needle in my arm this time. I winced in pain as the needle came in contact with my arm, but the pain soon went aside. She filled the needle with my blood and right when she took it out, I already healed.
"He will need to be under 24 hour surveillance. If he dies with my blood in his system, he will come back as a vampire, and that will not be good," I explained to Melissa.
"He'll be safe here," she said and carefully stuck the needle in his arm.
"I can find the chimera," I told her. "I just need to sleep. The Nemeton will show me him. If he's not dead yet, it will show me his death. Can you give me something to sleep?"
She nodded and left the room, telling me to wait here.
She came back with a bottle of clear liquid and a smaller needle.
"What's that?" I asked her.
She motioned to the couch on the other side of the room. I nodded and layed down.
"Thiopental. Trust me, you'll be out in seconds."
"You have to give me a big dosage or else my body will try to heal it out of my system."
"Human or not, this will knock you out." She gave me no warning and stuck the needle into my neck.
My vision became blurry quickly. She was right.. this stuff... this stuff knocks you....

Journey of Infinite Steps
Science Fiction/ Low fantasy Iliad. Oliver just wanted a job that could keep his family fed, and himself sane. Was that so much to ask for? Apparently. As he instead ends up facing monsters and dodging his way to another world instead. Competent as he views himself figuring out how to reopen a portal back home by himself is defiantly above his knowledge base. Of coarse it would be vastly simpler if he could keep 'getting back home' as his primary goal. 'Staying alive' is unfortunately a far more immediate and relevant goal. I will post any content warnings on a Per Chapter basis. Divisive content will be as skip-able as I can reasonably manage Discord Link will be available for those interested in assisting editing/ coauthoring. Especially character writers/those willing to work out the math/ economies and world building even if only as a wall to bounce ideas off of.-----Full Synapsis contains serious spoilers----- Looking to take care of his family, Oliver finds himself flung into a faraway place. Try as he might, his Iliad will not be simple or peaceful as he'd like. Alas the slow and unending war of Chaos and Order has long memories and longer reach. If Oliver is to make his way back home it looks like He'll have to solve the universe one fight and mystery at a time. Especially as the Laws of Physics shift, often on a per world basis. Hopefully there is still a home to come back to.

It would not be until the first and last of his fated 'finding quests' that Howard Manfield would learn his place among his memories.

Returning their hard-won cargo to THE SILVER ORDER in their city stronghold in BAVAT, they find their well-deserved rest will have to rest – half-elf wizard GAEL FOXTAIL’s father has disappeared while performing an investigation in the coastal city of UNTERMER, and it’s up to our motley crew to find him. As a son of Untermer, wily bakaneko thief ART OF SHADOWS is the perfect choice to lead the way, but he has ghosts of his own to face as their investigation brings them into the orbit of the THIEVES GUILD. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
