《The Uchiha (Itachi Twin Sister// Naruto Fan-fiction)》Chapter 16 [Decision]

By the time we arrived back at konoha, it was already night. But little did we expect to arrive seeing konoha completely wrecked.
There were no guards at the gate and buildings were torn down. There were no street lights on. The whole scenario seemed too odd.
I signaled everyone to get their guard up since we didn't know what was to be expected upon seeing this. I headed towards the place that would always have people whether in the worst or best times, the hospital.
We stood in front of the tall white building, from outside you could hear moans, screams, cries and voices of nurses. Heading in, the floor were laid with injured citizens and even shinobis. I asked for the situation from one of them, only to be ignored. They were far too busy.
I leaned my back against the wall, flipping through the book registering rooms. That was where I found the key to my answer. I saw the name , and .
I hurriedly headed to their rooms. Those reckless brats obviously knows something.
Sasuke's room door flown open as I stormed in, seeing Kakashi sitting beside him. Sasuke was unconscious but Kakashi wasn't.
Kakashi looked at me, shocked that I brought the team with me. Then only was I reminded the whole team followed me here.
"Putting that aside, what's the situation?" I demanded for an answer.
Kakashi told me the whole happening, starting from the chunin exam to Orochimaru's entetance to Gaara and finally to the death of Lord Third...
The team looked at Kakashi wide-eyed, some covered their mouths, tears rolling down their faces, not believing what they just heard.
I leaned against the wall once more dropping my head onto my hand. "Who's going to be the fifth?"
Kakashi shook his head. "The funeral is tomorrow morning."
"What is that old pervert doing?!" I screamed. Frustrated, I left the room without another word.
I stormed in the hospital and stormed out.
"Old pervert? That's pretty mean." I heard Jiraiya saying. Looking up, I saw him, he was sitting with his back against a pillar.
I walked towards him kicking him a couple of times. From his reaction, it seemed to be pretty hard.
"Who's the next hokage?" I asked, taking a fee steps back after the kicking.
He whipped the blood from his mouth before using the pillar as a support to stand up. "They wanted me to be the next but I rejected. I'm going to look for Tsunade after I settle things here. She's going to be hokage."

"Tsunade... Isn't she the best medical ninjutsu user around? I heard she left konoha." I turned, looking up at the sky.
It was dark, there was no moonlight, the moon was completely covered by the clouds yet there were stars shinning in place of it.
It was just like our situation. There's no hokage, the one that lights the way, instructing shinobi on what they should do and now he's gone, for the time being you have us guide the kids on where to go.
"Yeah, she left. She couldn't stand life in the village. She was treated like a total outcast just because they thought she was a threat." Jiraiya said, looking up into the sky as well. Perhaps thinking of what I'm thinking.
"She likes gambling right? You mentioned it once or twice when you had a conversation with Minato." I said, glancing over at him.
He nodded.
"This is troublesome." I trailed off, walking off, leaving Jiraiya there.
"Kurama did you know?" I asked while walking along the streets, kicking every rock in sight.
"I just knew a few hours ago. I couldn't tell you, you were on your way back already and it ended anyways."
"What was your other half doing? He's really useless and pathetic ya know?" I said. I wasn't even teasing him at this point.
"He was sleeping."
"Tch. Sounds like what you always do. Tell him he had better be paying attention or I'll be the end of him." I grunted in annoyance. Kurama didn't respond.
I arrived in front of the an entrance. Beyond the entrance layed a field of graves. I entered the grave yard, walking to the very front. That was where the coffin of the hokages were burried. Lord third's grave was beside Lord Second's. As I thought, they hurried the coffin before the funeral.
I kneeled down, using my hand to brush away the layer of dust on the memorial stone that had his name on it.
"Hey lord third. It's probably the first time in awhile since I've knelt in front of you in respect isn't it? I'm just here to let you know, the mission was a success and that I'm not attending the funeral tomorrow. I'm afraid if I do I might break out and kill a couple of humans. I'm going to keep this shirt because I'm leaving in awhile to for Tsunade Senju. Jiraiya didn't wanted to be hokage so he was going to get Tsunade to do it. I recon I'll just find her before he does and speed things up. Well that's all for now, I'll make sure to live on and help Itachi spread the truth one day. Also help Naruto along the way, I'm sure he'll become good friends with Kurama. Although throughout the journey, I'd still be as murderous as I am, maybe I'll keep it short and painless next time ya?" I chuckled before heading off to the two graves slightly behind.

And
Minato is the fourth hokage but his grave wasn't in front with the rest because he requested to have his beside Kushina's slightly behind the front. And there I stood. I knelt down once again, brushing off the dust with my hands.
"Hey, I didn't have time to buy flowers or anything of that sort, I hope you understand. The village was recently attacked and I'm heading off to get the fifth hokage, Tsunade Senju. I happened to be nearby since I was visiting Lord Third's grave so I thought I'd come over. It's been a long time hasn't it? Yuki's recently joined the anbu. I placed her on a team that's friendly and nice to interact with, I do hope she's going to do well. I've been doing fine myself, I think. Well in any case I have to get going now, till next time, Minato, Kushina." I stood up, taking one last look before heading off. If only that look was a look a their faces and not their graves.
"Ugh, this is why I hate visiting that place." I said, mentally slapping myself. It brings back so many memories I tried so hard to keep low key. It also causes a rush of emotions I try so hard to suppress everyday.
I sighed, sprinting off from trees to trees, arriving at a dark alley after awhile.
I hesitated but still walked in it. I hate visiting this place at night. Things are wild there at night, not as much in the morning.
It was a 5 minute walk before I reached the end of the dark alley, where it wasn't as dark and as quiet. It was like a night market.
This was the Dark Market. It's somehow similar to the Black Market but it's of a higher level with better clients, missions and pay. Only high ranked wanted ninjas were allowed in this place. In fact only those ninjas would know of this place.
"Maki, I want to see Haru." I said, placing my hand on the table as I sat on a tall chair in a bar full of dangerous criminals.
"What for?" Maki, a beautiful looking girl with short brown hair glanced over saying. Her looks were just deceiving, she was actually really strong.
"Just go get Haru." I said glaring at her.
She returned me with a glare before placing the glass cup she was holding down, turning to enter a room.
"What is it this time?!" A rough voice came from a man around his twenties, he had orange hair and wore a small vest along with long pants.
"Find this Lady for me." I said, slamming a stack of cash on the table, along with a picture of Tsunade with some information.
"This little?!" He laughed, turning away to decline the job.
"If you won't do it for me, I'll just let Haro do it for me." I smirked, placing my hand on the money ready to take it back.
He turned immediately, placing his hands on the money. "I'll do it."
I laughed, standing up to leave. "Let's get going then."
He picked up the money, jumping over the counter that was separating us, causing Maki to scream at him.
With that, we headed off on our journey to find Tsunade.
Haru was a genius when it comes to finding people. He had good instincts and he could sense chakra too. I known him ever since the first time I entered the Dark Market. Haro was his rival. Haro was as good as Haru in searches so it was a good way to force Haru in taking on a mission with low pricing. Sometimes, Haru would pay me to help him in his missions. I guess you could call us friends. I see him quite often when getting my missions from the Dark Market. I know him quite well if I do say so myself.

Witch Hunt. A Warhammer Fiction
The adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt continue!Adebar von Bolstedt, fugitive noble scion of the Empire, stuck in the Great Forest of Talabecland, is gravely wounded by the bestial denizens of the dark wintery woods, only surviving due to the timely arrival of aid and relief in the form of the masters of this land. What begins as a pleasant stay with the wild noblemen of Talabecland soon becomes a matter of faith and tradition as old as the Empire itself, when he finds himself trying to root out a coven of witches from a society that prides itself on rural living and knowledge of the mysteries of the wild. This quest will either see von Bolstedt's shaken faith in his own god reforged into an intolerant blade, or shattered like ice. Word from the AuthorGreetings! Witch Hunt plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This is the second part of the adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt, as such I recommend reading part one, titled "The Hand of Sigmar" first. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.

Molting the Mortal Coil
Reincarnated as a child in a new world a mild mannered programmer, named Sage, finds himself struggling to survive. The road to immortality is paved with danger, treasure, and conflict. This mystical eastern world is filled with Demonic Beasts, Treacherous Cultivators, and Extraordinary Legacies. Follow Sage on his journey to adapt to this new world, and find out if he can overcome the limitations of body, mind, and soul. Will he rise to the occasion and become a hero? Or maybe he'll turn to the dark side and end up a villain? Molting the Mortal Coil is more of a slower paced journey. It's not about endless battles and conquering the next bad guy who spits on the main characters shoes or sends him a funny look. There's also not a treadmill of tournaments or love interests. It's more of a slower burn with lots of, and hopefully not too much, world building. It's still supposed to be stuffed with action, but that won't pick up for a while since we start with a weakling. The first 30 chapters have a lot of time-skipping, but stay with me it gets better. I plan to re-write and add more to the first 30 in the future, but if you can push through I feel it gets much more fun after! Updates will be weekly.
