《The Uchiha (Itachi Twin Sister// Naruto Fan-fiction)》Chapter 21 [A-ranked mission]

"Tsunade." I greeted, casually entering the hokage's office.
Shizune glared at me before yelling at me. "Hey, have some respect for your fifth hokage."
"Unnecessary stuff." I complained, crossing my arms. Shikamaru Nara was there. I heard he was the only person that passed the chunin exam and became chunin. His intelligence came in use. After all that is what the Nara clan are well known for.
"Itsuko. I called you over to assist them in their mission to retrieve Sasuke. He left the village. The rest of the jounin and chunin are all out on missions you're probably the only one available." Tsunade said.
"No. That idiot is going to leave no matter what you do, it's a waste of effort." I said.
Shikamaru looked at me surprised at my answer and left the office to get more people I suppose.
"He is your brother." Tsunade stated seriously. She didn't really seem like the person to ever be really serious but here she actually is.
"He's just another idiot like the other one. They're both idiots." I rolled my eyes.
Tsunade sighed, placing a piece of paper down, deciding to take a break. Her table was filled with stacks of papers. "Are your wounds okay?"
"What do you mean by wounds? It was only a cut at my stomach and my some at my hands due to overuse of my wind style that's all." I said, leaning against her table with my back facing her.
"Itsuko... We all saw the scars." Shizune said, dropping another stack of papers onto Tsunade's table.
"Did it wear off already?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Yeah it did. It's a miracle that jutsu even lasted so long."
"You got done right?"
"Yeah of course, you haven't tried it out yet?"

"Not yet."
"Itsuko?" Tsunade's voice ended the conversation.
"Just pretend you didn't see anything." I said, looking away making eye contact with no one.
Tsunade sighed, handing me a piece of paper. "Here. You asked for a mission right?"
I turned around, taking the paper reading it.
A ranked
Protect princess from the Land of Rock on her journey to visit the Land of Snow.
"Are there any S-ranked ones?" I raided an eyebrow, placing the paper back onto he table. Scanning her table to look for any interesting missions I'd like to take on.
"Are you sure you can handle that in your conditions? Your hands are still injured and your ankle still needs support." She said, refusing to give me the missions.
"It's fine, I'll take these two if you don't mind." I said, grabbing the papers laid out on the table. Those were papers for S ranked missions.
"Wait, is that...?" I said as my eyes came upon a paper. It wasn't an S rank mission. It was an A rank mission but it was one I've been wanting to take on but wasn't able to because Lord third wouldn't let me. He wouldn't let anyone take on that mission.
"You don't have to force yourself you know? There are always others who can complete these. These require a lot of combat and your condition-" Tsunade went on and on but I closed my ears, not listening to anything.
"You're as naggy as the old man you know?" I laughed heading off with the three papers.
No way I was going to let those little wounds that were already on the way to healed stop me.
On my way out, I bumped into Shikamaru and a few others who were heading for their mission to retrieve Sasuke.

"Why?! I know Sasuke will have a change of heart if you get him to! He'll come back!" Naruto came rushing at me with a fist.
I blocked the fist with my palm, glaring at him before heading off going on my mission. One that was meant to be completed back then. It was the mission I got most of the scars from. The one mission I'd never forget.
-flashback-
"Minato! Can I go on the mission with you guys today?" A six years old Itsuko asked Minato who was gathered with his chunin team, Kakashi, Obito and Rin.
"I can't, It's dangerous." Minato said with a sad smile, patting her head.
"I'll protect her Minato sensei! Besides if she gets hurt Rin can heal her." Obito said with a big grin on his face.
Kakashi rolled his eyes. "She's six Obito. This is a A ranked mission that could even be S rank."
"I can fight. I'm not as weak as you think Kakashi." Itsuko glared at Kakashi, making Kakashi rethink his words. It's true she never bet Kakashi in a spar but she was pretty strong, sometimes she could be as good as Obito.
"Okay, but have you told your parents about it?" Minato said, kneeling down to Itsuko's height, starring into her grey black-ish eyes.
"Father said it'd be best if I just die in the mission anyways so it's a yes." Itsuko said confidently.
Rin looked at Itsuko, her eyes full of sorrow and pity towards Itsuko. She was only six yet she was so strong.
Obito clenched his fist but couldn't do anything. He couldn't oppose the head of the clan, leader of the police force, the wicket eyed Fugaku.
Kakashi just starred at her. Whether his eyes were showing sadness, pity or anger no one could tell.
Minato looked at her pityfully, giving her a sad smile. "Okay, but you're not going to die okay?"
"Okay!" Itsuko said with a big grin on her face. She didn't have a care in the world about what her parents say or do. They were the least she cared about. She knew she had Minato and Kushina who would treat her as human. Team Minato were also her friends, they were nice to her. Besides them, there would always be Shisui and Itachi on her side. Those were the people she truly cared and cherished not her parents who didn't even care if she existed.
With that they headed out on their mission.
