Square is much more fun than she imagined.
Tourists alike walked around the many shops. The smell of salt wafted through the air, together with the sweetness of the chocolate and the different scents of other restaurants. Loraine dragged her to Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop. Different types of individually wrapped chocolate bars were neatly placed in tables and shelves. A friendly clerk went up to them.
"Hello! You must be Ms. Dè Monde and Ms. Fujiwara." The way she drawled out her last name made her shudder on the inside. "I'm Shelly. The store clerk and the one who called you for the photo shoot."
"Yes. That's us." Loraine said. Shelly clapped her hands as she called the photographer. He was a normal guy wearing plain clothes and a hat atop his head. He held a Canon camera in his hands as he flashed a smile at the two.
"If it pleases you ma'am. After this shoot, I'll give you a complementary gift basket of our finest chocolates." Loraine seemed surprised at the sudden idea but nodded. Kasumi felt she didn't want to eat chocolate. She didn't want to eat anything. The clerk's presence made her stomach do flips. Her ebony hair tied in a bun, with the same colored eyes boring into hers. Kasumi shifted nervously on her feet as she looked somewhere else. She does want to visit the so-called 'Soda Fountain'.
"Ms. Fujiwara?" Shelly's voice brought her back. "Please hold this basket and pose as if you're choosing what chocolate to pick." She pointed to the shelves of chocolates. Kasumi walked over to the shelves and pointed her finger at her chin and the basket hanging from the crook of her arm. The photographer took the shots, saying what different pose for Kasumi to do and moving to a different spot.

After one last shot at the counter he shook hands with her and Loraine. Shelly did keep her word. The basket Kasumi got was the gift and Loraine got some as well. While they were talking, Kasumi wandered elsewhere in the square. A few people were sitting near the fountain as children tossed coins in the fountain, hoping for their wishes to come true.
A rustling sound made her look at the trash can a few feet to her right. Paper bags were littered around it as a dirty white tail poked from it. Kasumi walked closer to the thing. After a few moments, a head popped up with a few wrappers falling.
She took in the sight of the animal. It surely wasn't a cat or a dog. The ears were pointed high and the snout long with a little black nose. It's eyes were a warm honey-like color. It's fur was caked in the rubbish it was digging in and other foul stuff. Kasumi thought that it was a fox, a rare sight in a place like this.
"Are you lost little guy?" She asked the animal. It cocked its head to the side as its ears crooned. Without thinking she picked it up from the trash and carried it gently. "Why don't you stay with me? I can clean you and feed you if Loraine agrees with me having a pet..." Kasumi said the last part quietly. Fortunately the little fox understood what she said and yipped happily. She smiled softly and went to the guide map. From where she was standing, the bathrooms were a few steps to her left. She followed the directions and went to the lady's room. Luckily no one was there as she breathed a sigh of relief.
She went to the cleanest looking sink and placed her new friend inside it. She turned the knob as water ran down on the animal, which led it to shiver and shake, water spraying everywhere. Kasumi stepped back a little and continued scrubbing the little guy. She then pushed the dispenser and rubbed it on the fox, creating foam. From there, she suspected it was a she. After bathing it she took a lot of paper towels from the back and patted her.

"Sorry for the lack of proper bath towels. This is all I can use really." She apologized to the fox. The fox didn't mind though as she yipped, happy that she was clean. Lucky for her the paper towels were enough to dry her off, since Kasumi used up every single one. She carried her new friend and went outside but stopped.
She saw Shelly and that photographer talking to each other. They seemed really pleased at something. Her new friend bared her teeth and growled at the pair.
"Easy little guy, they're not bad people." Kasumi calmed the fox down.
"Catch that photographer!"
She looked around. The people paid no heed to her.
"What are you doing just standing there? Get the camera from the photographer!"
"Who are-" Kasumi started panicking.
"Ugh. You know what? I'm taking charge, you stupid girl."
That was all she heard before flames engulfed her vision.
