Secrets needed to kept secret, that was the whole point of avoiding everybody, making excuses to end up with Ivar on the end of the day. You loved that secrecy, sneaking off to Ivar to love him unconditionally before acting like nothing was in between the two of you when you met the next day together in public. It was amazing and it was over ... how you were gonna explain the people that you were pregnant, giving you didn't saw anything yet you were sure it would soon enough. And you were afraid, not to say scared to dead to walk over the streets, facing Ivar again, telling him. It made you nauseous and you were already that by the starting pregnancy symptoms. So you avoided him, hoping that connection would fade, hoping he would forget that you existed while your belly started growing.
You were caring wood inside when you turned around and startled from seeing him sitting there. His blue eyes slightly squeezed together, an angry expression radiation around him. 'Ivar.' You greeted him fast, walking in with the wood. Off course, he followed you. You felt warm already, only the thought that he was here with his keen eye for detail made you feel nervous. 'What is wrong with you?' He asked, impatient. You crouched down aside the fire, throwing the wood in a basket aside it. 'Nothing.' You tried to sound steady but it was all except for that. You poked the fire, not looking over your shoulder to give him any attention. 'You are avoiding me. Did I do something wrong? Did I hurt you?' He asked, he sounded a little lost and you remembered how swiftly those emotions could change around him. 'No,' you turned around and looked at him. 'you didn't hurt me.' 'What is it then? Do I need to pull it out of you or are you gonna spill.' 'I'm pregnant.' It rolled over your tongue like nothing. You held on to that poke, looking how his gaze froze on yours while he repeated those words in his head. He started moving after several minutes, pointing to his own chest, you nodded. 'You sure?' He asked, all scared and uncertain, you nodded again. He broke out of his froze condition, relaxing his shoulders in the wrong way. 'How?' He shook his head, looking to the fire. 'I can't do this.' 'Are you leaving me?' You asked even more scared. 'No, but,' he felt silent and you broke loose from your position, crawling over to sit aside him, facing him. 'I'm sorry if I,' 'No.' He grabbed your hand and you smiled uncertain. 'I think I can rule out not having kids know because of my legs.' He sounded a little nervous but it made you laugh. Here you both said, nobody knew about your relationship and you were pregnant. 'I will be so terrible.' He remembered for himself. 'You aren't terrible against me so you won't against this.' You laid your hand on you belly and he followed your handling. He wanted to touch you there but he pulled back, shaking his own head. 'I don't know Y/n.' He signed, like he was planning on leaving you with that unborn child. 'Ivar, I love you, run away and you break me.' 'I can't run.' 'You know what I mean.' You breathed out. He stroke his knuckles over your cheek and softly smiled. 'Offcourse.' He agreed. You felt relieved, leaning a little over to him to place a kiss on his lips. 'You will do great.' You promised him.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. If you are enjoying my novel, this is a link for my new novel : Magical Cosmic --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a Science Fantasy story where technology will eventually change the civilization. A lot of Kingdom Building will be here as it will be. Despite the Kingdom Building, the MC won't be sitting in one place only. Although there is Comedy and Romance here and there, it wasn't the main focus of the story. The Harem tag in the story didn't mean a lot of bland 2D girl as even the first female MC was shown at chapter 21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. The cover is only temporary
