《Vikings, Mini Drabbles》Ivar: Sight at the lake

After a whole day of slavery you were glad to have some time for yourself. Lately you had always the feeling that somebody kept an eye on you and it bothered you in the beginning. You always watched over your shoulder when you walked home, telling your grandmother that you felt watched only to hear here babbling over how she met her husband back in the tale. It was nice to hear but it got bored and you needed some time for yourself. So when you fell asleep you covered her with an extra blanket, smiling because of the joy her sleep transparent. A happy old lady, if you could only end like that.
The streets were never safe so late at night, but the forest was rather quiet, an enjoyable silence that calmed your mind, freed your soul. When you came at the lake you crouched down, drifting your fingers over the water surface. Although the days were hot, the water felt pretty cold. You stood up, looked up to the green leaves covering the more before you untied your dress. If caressed your body down, leaving you naked in the night before you slowly stepped into the lake, feeling how every step pushed a shivering through your body until there wasn't ground to stand anymore. You closed your eyes, floating, enjoying until you felt it again and you jerked your head around only to see something vanish behind a tree. Why didn't this scare you? 'I won't be angry.' You stated, a voice sounding rather soft than it was determent. Your arms drifted on the water while you focused on that tree, only to reveal the person hiding behind it. 'Ivar.' You said a little surprised. You knew Ivar, but never talked to him. His blue eyes gazed at you, saw you more than only this time, he was the one looking at you. 'You were the one following me?' 'Yes.' He answered, looking down to the ground. 'I'm not angry, I was only curious. Why, if I may ask?' You swim a little closer to the part you could stand more easily and he followed your body closely while crawling a little from behind the tree. 'Many reasons.' 'Give me one.' You showed him one finger above the water surface. He was shy, because you caught him watching ... probably because you were naked to. 'Nobody noticed you.' He began. 'You do.' He smiled, looking down, biting his nail. It was almost cute. You looked how he crawled closer, to your dress. 'You are afraid of the water?' You guessed, understanding his fear because of his legs. 'Can you come out?' He asked you right back. You looked at the dress before you looked back at him. 'Why?' You titled his head, curious of he would be honest about it. He looked to the water surface, were your body was hiding underneath. 'I want to see you?' He asked. You smiled, looking to the surface yourself. 'Is that why you followed me?' 'No,' he said fast. 'I just,' but he words faded for you stepped out the water. He looked at you, really looking. You felt admired for a moment? You took your dress from behind him and pulled it over your head. He gazed down to the ground, shyly. You sat down beside him, resting your head on your knees while looking at him. 'Y/n.' You introduced yourself to him. 'Ivar.' He smiled softly, looking back to the water. 'Nice to meet the person stalking me all the time.' He chuckled on those words.
