The doorbell went and you looked up from your laptop towards the door to the hall. 'Y/n, can you take the door?' Your brother yelled from upstairs. You rolled your eyes, throwing your laptop into the seat before walking to the door, opening without paying attention. When you looked down your mouth got dry. 'Ivar.' You greeted him, looking over your shoulder in the hope your brother would come down. 'Y/n.' He greeted you, looking down instead from up to you. 'Come in.' You pulled the door further open and he rolled his wheelchair in. He pushed himself into the living room and you looked to your own hair in the mirror for a moment before you walked the living room in. 'Who is it?' Your brother asked. 'Your best friend.' 'I'm coming.' He yelled back. You knew when he talked about "coming" that it could take some time. 'Do you want something to drink?' You asked polite. He looked up from his mobile, fast shaking his head. You shrugged, sitting down in the seat, pulling your laptop back on your lap. You looked from over your laptop towards him, he was looking but as soon as he saw you looking he looked back away. 'I don't bite you know Ivar.' You said practically without looking up. He chuckled and you frowned, looking up again. 'What's so funny about that?' 'Your brother always says you do.' He replied. You rolled your eyes, smiling in the moment. 'He has to shut his mouth.' You muttered for yourself, gazing back to the laptop.
'What are you doing?' He asked after a few minutes. 'Gonna watch Game of Thrones.' You answered. His eyes got that sparkle but he didn't say anything, looking down to his mobile again. You looked towards the hall, asking yourself were your brother stayed. 'You want to watch?' You asked. He opened his mouth, looking over his shoulder to the hall, doubting. What was it with him. He always had such a big mouth when you weren't in the same room and now he was like a scared little child. 'Ivar, if you don't like me or I annoy you, you can just say it and I'm out.' You pointed to the doorway. You kept looking at him until he was brave enough to hold those gorgeous blue eyes on yours. You frowned your eyebrows until your mouth fell a little open. 'You like me.' You confirmed the starting blush on his cheeks. He swallowed and you looked to his throat for a moment. 'Ivar?' 'What do you want me to say?' He asked a little short. 'A simple yes or no maybe.' 'Yes, I like you Y/n. But what does it matter, who likes a cripple.' He fired angry back, turning his wheelchair the other way around. You rolled your eyes dramatically, looking to his back. He was a friend of your brother for years now, you knew him already a little. 'Did it maybe occur to you that I like you to?' You asked him softly. You saw he froze in his wheelchair. You waited, a moment, two moments. 'You can come sit with me now to watch Game of Thrones.' You petted the place beside you. He turned slowly around, rolling over. He pulled his body aside you and you looked at him from so close by. 'Wasn't that hard.' 'Just play the episode.' He murmured. You smiled and you started the episode. He relaxed his head a little resting against your arm. You smiled a little, mission kind of accomplished.
