《VIKING PRINCESS》Chapter Six

She had awoke in the morning with no alarm from her brothers. She still missed Hvitserk but she knew he would be back in no time. She was already dressed in her brand new day gown of which her mother bought her months ago. She smilled as she opened the door and walked to her mothers room.
She stopped short when she saw her mother tossing and turning. "Mother!" she yelled as she ran over and shook her. As her mother woke she looked at Grace worried. "Mother are you alright." Aslaug only stared on as Grace smiled softly "you scared me, what was it?" she asked her mother. "It was a vision." Grace had known her mother had visions since she was old enough.
Her mother never told her though what they were about, she only told her whether they were good or bad. Grace had also known to never pry into her mothers visions. "how about we get some food, you may feel better." she told her mother as she nodded. Her mother stopped her short and said "I must find Ivar." as she got up quickly and ran shouting for him.
After her mother had gone she sat to eat. As she did she wondered what her twin was doing. As she finished her food a servant notified her that her father wanted to speak to her. She got up and left to see him at the docks. "Why do you want to see me, father?" she asked as she reached him. He reached his arms out and held her there. "I am leaving. We haven't had time together and I am sorry for that. But know that I love you, my dear daughter." She put her arms around him as they stood there. She felt a hand on her back as she pulled away and it was her mother.

Her mother smiled gently at her and lead her to Ubbe. who put an arm around her shoulder as they waited. Soon she heard Ivar coming down the hill on makeshift crutches.
Ubbe moved his arm as he turned to see Ivar go to Ragnar. Grace put a hand on her mothers arm as she smiled. Then he fell which prompted both Ubbe and Grace to want to help but their mother stopped them.
She turned and shared a look with Ubbe then looked at Sigurd who was smirking. She took a step back and put her arm behind him and hit his back. "You are disgusting me." she whispered lowly at him as he stopped.
When the boats had left she was sad of losing another brother. Ubbe took her arm in his hand to guide her back home. "Do you think they will be alright?" She asked her brother. "Who Ragnar and Ivar, yes they will be fine. I thought you had hope in them." He told her as he stopped and moved in front of her. She nodded with a frown "I suppose but mother said-" She was cut off by him hugging her "They will be just fine sister. Ivar can take care of himself as can Ragnar. But you don't seem so worried about Hvitserk." He said as he pulled away from her to see her expression.
She shook her head with a smile and told him "He may be a fool but I know he can handle himself." She took his hand and guided him towards home. She opened the door to her room to see Sigurd. "I am deeply sorry for what I did." She knew he wouldn't apologize to Ivar but would to her. "You should have told him that not me." She said moving to get a gown. "Get out would you." She told him when she turned around and he nodded with a frown and left.

She knew Sigurd was a good kid but sometimes he just got on her nerves. She had eaten dinner but it was silent as they weren't bickering. That went by fast as she was now in bed and thinking about what Ivar and her father would discover.
She was excited for when bother her brothers and father came back so she could hear of it. She closed her eyes to dream of what lands they could find.
