She was sat on the stairs of the room they had King Ecbert caged in. She was next to Ubbe which wasn't far from the hung cage. "We have to decide what to do with King Ecbert!" "I don't understand. What is there to discuss? We blood eagle him. Ecbert is as guilty as Aelle, so we should do the same thing to him."
She heard Ivar say as she looked up and rolled her eyes. "I've told you this many times. I was here! I saw Ecbert hand father over to King Aelle." Ivar said as Bjorn began to noticeably get annoyed.
She put a hand on Hvitserk arm as Bjorn said "we all understand those feelings, Ivar. No one is denying, what you are saying. But sometimes, sometimes. We have to consider things beyond our feelings." "Thank you, Bjorn."
She agreed with what her brother was saying. "And think what is best for our people!" "I know what our people want, Bjorn. And they want what I want." "Are you even hearing yourself, Ivar!" She said to him as he looked at her.
"I know what they want, Sister. Nothing will change my mind." "We have to consider our position of strength. And use that to our ultimate advantage!" Bjorn Said to him again but then Ivar started to laugh.
"You always like to complicate things, Bjorn. You think it makes you look clever." She had enough of Ivars attitude and got up. She moved to Sigurd and whispered to him.
"When they are done being children, come find me." She said and patted his shoulder and with that left. She found a seat and sat alone outside. She watched others talk amongst themselves.
She saw Sigurd sit next to her. "What did they say, Brother?" She asked moving to face him. He smiled and said "he said he would give us full claim of land." She took his hands in hers and looked him in the eyes.

"Do you trust King Ecbert." "As much as you do, Sister." He said then got up to follow Bjorn. All the others gathered into a room with King Ecbert. She stood between Sigurd and Hvitserk. King Ecbert and his helper were talking in their language as she stood their bored.
"Bjorn Ironside, Son of Ragnar. I, King Ecbert, give you the right to settle the Lands of East Anglia. And I pray you succeed. And now. I have a final journey to take." They all watched him leave and they all looked at the paper in awe.

Divik: Companion Two in the Orak'Thune Series
A city built on honour. A downfall built on lies. Divik is a cesspool. Left too long to its own devices, it is a city ruled by degenerate barons, unique in that on the surface, they’re part of the shiny ruling class. Enter the terrorists. Having decided on vulnerable Divik for their plans long ago, it is an easy corridor of which to get a foothold on the otherwise impenetrable, ultra-patriotic Orak’thune nation; and they have a message for its Fire Queen. The countdown to their demise has been set, the players on the board unwittingly outmatched. The innocent residents will be victims in the crossfire if the last good knight, Colonel Rabb, can’t clear them out of the way in time. Living Fire: Book Four in the Orak'Thune Series tells the tale of how King River and Hanna get embroiled in the coup, and how Queen Nyssa and Jara get them back from the clutches of a sociopathic terrorist and out of an imploding city. The Dragon & The Demon
Orenda Nochdifache-Firefist has sucessfully overthrown the Empress Xandra and broken the empire to allow the individual colonies to return to self-rule, as well as abolished the chattle slavery that had plagued the land- earning her the title of "Orenda the Reign Ender". The Knights of Order have officially won the war in a bloody revolution, putting an end to the three centuries of warfare under Xandra's leadership. No longer must people live in fear of Xandra's puppet, The Emerald Knight. But now Orenda must face the realities of her dream- the imaginary princess has become queen. And, she has a deadly secret she must keep in the form of a teenage Urillian boy who is not what he seems. Anilla is still on a never ending quest to find her dragon; her people beleive that every memeber of their tribe is born with a soul bonded dragon that exists somewhere in the world- and Orenda's little secret claims to have seen Anilla's soul before. Could he be the key to ending her quest? This work is a direct sequel to The Crimson Mage, and will obviously contain major spoilers for that work, so it might be a better place to start (though I will warn you that the first chapter of that story may be the worst thing I've ever written. Just power through it or encorage me to put up a second draft). It can be found here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21654/the-crimson-mage/chapter/307763/chapter-1
