Once a man lived in Japan, who was sick and tired of his wife. She was the most beautiful girl he ever saw when they got married. She had long black hair, amazing brown eyes and soft skin.
However, after years passed her appearance faded and she grew fat. Her face became wrinkled. He understood that she didn't attract him any more and decided to leave her. The man told the wife that he wanted to divorce and left home quickly. He rented an apartment in the city and began visiting bars and clubs to get a new love story. Little time passed and he got acquainted with fantastically beautiful young girl. She was 18 years old only, she was high and slim, she had long unfastened blond hair. He fell in love immediately and in couple of weeks he asked her to marry him.
The blonde agreed and moved to his apartment after they married. However, the time the blond had a ring on her finger her behavior had changed a lot. She was soft, nice and polite girl before the marriage, but after marriage she became rude and bold. She was very lazy and could sit near the mirror for hours, processing her make-up and looking into her reflection. She was very picky and made him spending all his money on her. She forced him to buy her new clothes, new jewelry, new devices and even a car.
Once the man came home and began examining the wife steadily. All this: make-up, eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow... hid her internal ugliness only. He started regretting that married her.
Years passed and the man missed his previous wife more and more. Yes, she was old and fat, but she was careful and attentive person. He cried when remembered her soft voice, her gentle smile and eternal patience. Now he regretted that he divorced with her.

Gradually he understood that he still loved his first wife and now he loved her even stronger, than he loved the blonde, to whom he felt passion only. He began understanding how deeply he offended the only woman who loved him truly. Sometimes he saw his ex-wife in a dream. She was sitting alone in her room and her long black hair closed her face. At night he used to ask himself questions about how she lived, what she did, whether she would let him back?
Once in the evening he decided to leave his current wife after the next terrible quarrel. He couldn't stand her any more and left the blond. He left the city and went into a long trip – back to the house of his previous wife. When he reached the street where they lived it was a deep night already. The house looked deserted. The garden ran wild and the windows were broken, The roof was lack of tile and the walls looked like they weren't painted for years.
He knocked but nobody opened a door. He pulled a handle and found the door was not locked. He entered the house. It was empty and silent there. The cold wind blew through the broken windows. He came upstairs and opened the door into the bedroom. He was surprised for his wife was sitting on the bed. He ran up to her, embraced her and began crying on her shoulder. He told her that he missed her very much and begged to forgive him.
Her face was closed by black hair, but he heard her gentle voice whispering in his ear:
- I am glad you came back to me – she told, - but only for a moment...
- Only for a moment? – he answered with laugh, - No, I came back forever. Now we may live the rest of our life together.

He moved the hear off her face and was going to kiss her. But when he opened his eyes he cried of horror. He saw a dirty, dusty skull instead of face. To his horror he realized that he was embracing a pile of dirty and dusty bones. The man stood up and threw his wife's remnants away with disgust. He was standing in the dim light of the moon and was shaking of fear. Nausea evaded his body.
He ran downstairs and ran out. He met a neighbor in the street and asked him who lived in the deserted house.
- Nobody lives there now – the neighbor told. – Several years ago it belonged to a woman, whose husband went. He divorced her to marry another woman. She was so frantic with grief that committed a suicide some time later.

I hope you had a good time reading! This is my very first book, but I've spent quite the time writing and editing this. So I'm a tad bit confident with this. Sadly, I'm only able to put up 2 chapters weekly. The reason is...I'm still a student. School is hard, annoying and a hassle but necessary. So I'm really sorry for the slow updates, but please bear with me~!(?-?-?) I hope you enjoy reading this ('cuz I sure as hell had so much fun writing this ( • ??•? )). Thanks~!
