《Cousin Miguel》Part 5

"So how is living with Derek going?", Scott asked. "Well no one is dead by now so I think we can see that as a win", Stiles joked "no really. Everything is well. I think my father actually likes him". "Why are you asking about me?", Derek suddenly appeared in the doorframe to the kitchen. "Just wanted to know if you are all alright", Scott said truthfully. "I'm fine. Thanks to the Stilinskis. You do not need to be my stalker", Derek sassed. Stiles really had an influence on him. "You think that I am your stalker?", Scott asked and Stiles rapidly shook his head no "you are living with your stalker, dude". "Fuck", Stiles breathed. "What?", Derek asked confused. "Oh nothing", Stiles said "Scott, shut up!" "Stiles was obsessed with you. He knew everything there was about you when we first met you in the woods", Scott just casually said, making his best friend blush the deepest shade of red ever seen on a face. "Oh my god Scott, would you just once keep information for yourself?" "What?", Scott asked innocently. "Like just don't tell everything that I did", Stiles explained through gritted teeth. "Like the time you were mad at me because I told Jackson, Lydia and Allison that everything was Derek's fault and you told me that it wasn't and that Derek didn't deserve that?", Scott asked. "Do you even listen to yourself?", Stiles asked, red like a tomato and so done with Scott. "You said everything was my fault?", Derek asked. "Oh, wow. It got late. Gotta go. Bye", Scott said, jumped up and left. Stiles avoided Derek's eyes. He slowly stood up and got to the stairs. "Stiles?", Derek asked. "No I can't talk to you right now", Stiles mumbled and disappeared in the direction of his bedroom. Derek followed him not sure why he behaved like that. It's not like Stiles accused him of murder. He knocked on Stiles' bedroom door. "Derek please just leave me alone", Stiles said into his pillow. Derek just cracked the lock and opened the door. "You ever heard something about privacy?", Stiles asked, again in his pillow. "Look at me", Derek demanded. "I don't want to", Stiles mumbled. "Look at me", it was Derek's alpha voice. "NO!", Stiles yelled. Derek sighed. "Stiles, would you please look at me?", he said softly and Stiles didn't have another chance. He lifted his head and hesitantly looked into Derek's eyes. Derek's beautiful eyes. "Pull yourself together", he thought. "Why did you leave?", Derek asked then. "I didn't want you to know that", Stiles said. "That you stalked me or that you stood up for me?", Derek asked. "Take a guess", Stiles sassed and Derek actually smiled. "You think I am mad?", Derek asked him "Stiles I have known you for quite a while now and I am 99 percent sure that you know everything you can about everyone you know. That is just who you are, how you work. Getting all the information together and proceeding it. I am not mad at you", Derek told him. "Did you know that Aiden doesn't like chocolate? I mean who the hell doesn't like chocolate?", was the first thing that came to Stiles' mind. "See that's what I meant", Derek smiled slightly "It doesn't make you creepy. And it doesn't make me mad. It makes you special. A weird kind of special but special". "Thanks", Stiles said. "Who the fuck doesn't like chocolate?", Derek said disbelieving "and in my pack...". Stiles couldn't hold it together and ended up on the floor laughing. Soon after his mobile phone rang and he took the call. "Hey Scott. Yeah everything is fine. Yeah. See you later", then he ended the call. "Scott just wanted to know if you killed me or planned on killing him", he shrugged. "They are all coming over for a pack meeting", he let Derek know and the both of them headed downstairs. "Is everything alright between us?", Stiles asked hesitantly. "Of course", Derek said and patted Stiles' back. A warm feeling settled in Stiles' chest at the touch. He tried to keep calm and breath evenly. Derek noticed Stiles' rapid heartbeat and thought it was because he was uncomfortable with Derek touching him so he pulled his hand back. The doorbell broke the awkward tension. "That was fast", Stiles said when he opened the door and his friends came in. They all settled down in the living room. "Why are you living with Stiles and not with Peter?", Isaac blurted out of nowhere. Derek raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Does that mean you'd rather live with Peter, a psychopath who killed your sister and many others, than with me?", Stiles asked disbelieving. "You can be quite annoying from time to time", Isaac said. "Good thing you never do annoying things like saying what's on your mind all the time or giving stupid advice that is not helpful", Stiles contered. "Touché", Isaac said and smiled at him. He started to actually like him. "To answer your question Isaac, I would rather live under a bridge than live with Peter", Derek said coldly. "I understand", Isaac nodded. "How can you live with him?", Stiles asked Scott who just shrugged. "I throw him against walls very often", he said eventually. "Very sexy, Scott", Stiles wiggled his eyebrows and Lydia laughed. "Dude...", Scott said and glared at Stiles. They eventually got to discussing what recently happened in Beacon Hills, luckily there were no murders, no monsters and no more hunters. "Seems like we have luck for once", Lydia said "we can relax for a while". "Movie night?", Allison suggested and everyone nodded. "Okay so I am gonna drive to the store and get snacks, then pick up some pizza. Lydia will you join me?", Allison asked and Lydia nodded. "We're gonna get everything ready here", Stiles said and already arranged the couches so everyone could see the screen. "Anyone want something special? Nachos, gummy worms, chocolate?", Allison asked. "Gosh I hate chocolate", Aiden said. But he didn't drew attention to him. Everyone looked at Derek and Stiles who out of nowhere just started to laugh and didn't stop for a while.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.

Magical Girl Gunslinger
“Would you like to make a contract?” When eldritch horrors known as the Anathema began tearing through reality to invade Earth, aliens calling themselves the Zenith stepped in to protect humanity. Individuals were chosen and gifted with the ability to use magic and advanced technologies to combat the existential threat. Over twenty-one years later, the so-called “Magical Guardians” are still hard at work keeping the peace. With their flashy outfits, superhuman abilities, and reality-defying spells, they are the part-time heroes and full-time idols of modern society. But none of that really matters to Mai, whose biggest problems are dealing with her family, classmates, and the ever growing dread of her imminent future. As far as Mai is concerned, mundane problems are more than enough to worry about, and the idea of magic and monsters might as well be nothing more than daydreams. At least, they were until she finds herself in the middle of an Anathema invasion… A Dark Magical Girl LitRPG with sci-fi elements. Note: Slow burn and gradual introduction of LitRPG mechanics that become a focal point once introduced. Please be aware this story contains intense violence, gore, traumatic situations, and other potentially unsettling content. Chapter One and Two are considered the first “episode” and introduction into the book. As such, they are mega length to allow for uninterrupted reading. Enjoy! A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.
