《Unforgettable (Peter Parker x Reader)》Goodbyes

After the whole monument fiasco, everyone was back on the ground safely. As we walked out of the entrance I was pulled into a tight hug. "I'm so glad your ok!" The person was was hugging me said into my shoulder.
I smiled when I realised that it was Michelle. "Hey I'm fine, everyone is." I said and hugged her back.
She pulled away and put her hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eye. "Do you know what happened? Things like that don't happen naturally." She said and looked up at the monument.
I shifted, knowing exactly what happened but I couldn't tell her about the stone Ned had in his bag. "I don't know. There was this bright light and thats it." I said with a shrug.
She looked at me carefully and pulled me back into a hug. "I'm just glad your alright. I'm sure if Peter was here, he would be freaking as well." She said with a smirk on her face.
A smile appeared on my face, thinking back to when Peter made sure that I was ok when I was hanging over the elevator shaft before he made sure I was safe before falling into a cloud of smoke and dust. Thinking back to that I pulled away from the hug and turned to the monument.
No one had been freaking out or rushing over, apart from when we all walked out, so he must of managed to sneak away.
~~~
After the incident at the Washington Monument, Mr Harrinton thought it was best that we went home straight away so we can seen out families. Well most of our family.
I stood in the bus bay by myself as everyone was treated but their parents or aunts in Peter's case.
I just smiled when May ran over to Peter and pulled him into a hug. I saw her look over in my direction and pull away from Peter. "(Y/n), where is your cousin?" She asked sounding worried.
I gave her a small smile and shrugged. "Probably busy. You never know with him."
She gave me a sympathetic look and pulled me into a hug. "I'm just glad the both of you are ok." She said and I hugged her back and closed my eyes. I missed hugs like this.
I opened my eyes to see Peter also giving me the same look his Aunt gave me. I smile at him and pulled away from May's hug.
"I should probably get home. I'm tired and sorta still traumatised from almost falling to my death and probably never step inside a lift again. So I'm gonna head home." I said as I grabbed my suit case and started to walk away.
"We can give you a lift home!" May yelled after me. I turned around and gave her a smile. "I'll be good. I'll just call my cousins friend to pick me up. I don't want to bother you."
"No its fine. I can give you a ride home anytime, it really not bother." She said.
I shook my head. "Its fine, really." I then turned to Peter and gave him a small wave. "I'll see you tomorrow."
I then started to make my way to where Happy would be picking me up.
~~~
I quickly rushed out of the lift and into the main floor of Avengers tower. I knew that Friday wouldn't let anything like that happened in Washington happen, but after almost dying, I rather not take my chances.
"I herd what happened in Washington. That must of be terrifying." I jumped at the sound of a voice as I walked passed the sitting area.
I looked over to see Tony sitting on the dark grey couches, drinking some sort of alcohol. I clutched my chest where my heart was beating fast and looked at Tony with wide eyes.
"I rather not die today Tony, so next time, give me a heads up." I said as I put my bags down and crossed my arms over my chest. "Anyway, what are you doing back?"
He skulled the rest of his drink and put it down the table in front of him. "I came to get you. We're moving the rest of the equipment later this week so It's about time you start moving in." He said as he got up and walked over to me.

My eyes widened when what he said finally resisted in my head. "I can't!" I yelled as I followed tony to the bar where he poured himself another drink.
He looked at me over the edge of the glass. "And why is that?"
I glared at him. "Because I have things due soon and the Homecoming dance is soon!" I yelled.
Tony was unaffected by my out burst, instead he just raised an eyebrow at me. "I though you would be happy that you didn't have to go to school anymore. Also I thought you hated dressing up." He said leaning against the counter.
"Ok fine, the main reason it because I finally have friends. I finally fit in somewhere.I finally might be able to be in a relationship! I also still have to helping Spider-Man find th..." I was cut off by Tony.
"You've been running around New York and playing superhero?" Tony asked in a harsh tone.
"Yeah, because someone has to do it! I can't just sit around doing nothing, while you and the rest of the Avengers have either been on the run or hiding in your new little bace! Me and Spidey are working together to help this flying guy that has been..." I stopped talking when I saw the look on Tony's face.
"You're coming with me to the new facility. You have one day to say goodbye and then we're leaving." Was his final words before he disappeared.
I stared at the place he was standing before. I felt my eyes started to water until tears finally started to fall.
I put my head down the counter as I started to cry harder.
~~~
I didn't get much sleep that night. Like always Happy drove me to where I was being dropped off before I started my semi long walk to school.
When I walked though the front doors to my locker, I ignored Michelle who gave me a nod. I saw her normal smirk turn into a frown when I didn't smile or nod back like always.
I walked straight past Peter and Ned who started to wave at me, but stopped when they saw that I wasn't smiling.
The whole day was like that. I didn't sit in my normal set next to Peter, knowing that he would ask what was wrong.
I knew that I should at lest tell them that I'm moving, but I didn't want to see their heart broken faces.
Lunch soon came around and I knew I wouldn't be able to hide from everyone. I sat at our normal table and not long after I did, Peter and Ned joined me.
"(y/n) whats wrong? You've been avoiding us the whole day." Peter said sounding worried.
I looked up at him with tired eyes. "I'm leaving." I finally chocked out.
I saw Peter face turned to shock and then sorrow. "What, why?" He asked leaning forward.
"Tony came home yesterday. I told him that I've been running around helping Spider-Man with that vulture guy, but he didn't like that so I'm moving upstate." I said with my head in my arms.
"That would be cool! You get to hand out with the avengers! When are you leaving?" Ned asked and I hid my whole face in my arms.
"Tomorrow." I mumbled, knowing that they wouldn't here it. I hope they wouldn't here it.
"(Y/n), we can't here you." Peter said in a soft tone.
"Tomorrow." I said a little louder.
I saw Peter's eyes widened when that word finally came out of my mouth. "What? Your cousin can't do that."
The bell finally rung telling everyone Lunch was over. "I'm pretty sure he can." I said as I walked away leaving a shell shocked Peter behind.
