《I Fell For The Muslim Girl》Chapter 54 : The graduation day ( Part 2 )

"Camila?!" my dad's husky voice that I missed so badly was calling my name from afar. My heart began to drop and I searched for the direction where his voice was coming from.
A few seconds later, I finally saw the tall man, dressed in a fine grey suit, white plain shirt and black tie who was standing against the crowd with my mom and Mia beside him.
"Dad!" I shouted while running towards him like a little child.
"Hey kiddo." he pulled me into his arms and tightened my grips around his waist. He is here at last on one of the most happiest days in my life. I missed his voice, his hug, his jokes, his scent and everything that I could think of him.
"I'm so glad to see you here." I said, releasing myself from him.
"I'm glad to see you too. It's your graduation day. I wouldn't miss it for the world." he stroked my cheek gently with his thumb.
"Thank you, dad." I grinned.
"You're welcome."
"Congratulations, honey!" my mom congratulated me and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
"Thank you, mom."
"By the way..."
"What do I get for my graduation?" I asked my dad excitedly.
"Your present is waiting for you at home." he smiled, waving the car keys in front of my face. Wait! Car keys?! Whatttttttttt? Am I getting my own car too?
"Are you serious?" my eyes widened. He nodded and put the car keys in my palm.
"You earned it." he claimed and I was cheering happily to myself.
"Wow little sis! Now we're even." Mia smirked at me and I crinkled my nose at her.
"Thank you so much. You're the best dad I could ever get. I love you, dad." I said, hugging him once again.
"I love you too, kiddo." he placed a kiss on top of my head and released me.
"How long are you gonna be here?" I asked. I was convinced that he wouldn't be here for more than a week. That's for sure.

"Only for 3 days." he gave me sympathetic smile. Oh well! At least he is here for my graduation. That matters most to me.
"Okay." I nodded in understanding.
"Hey Mr. Ahmad. It's great to see you." Adam suddenly approached us, holding out his hand at my dad and greeted him. Derin was standing beside Adam with a smile on her face.
"Hey Adam. It's good to see you too. Congratulations to both of you on your graduation!" my dad shook his hand and congratulated both Adam and Derin.
"Thank you." they both said at the same time. Justin joined us shortly afterwards. He approached us with a smile and his hands in his pockets. He seemed pretty nervous. I didn't think he would come over here.
"And who is this handsome young man?" my dad widened his smile at Justin.
"I'm Justin. Justin Walker." he spoke at normal speed with his usual thick and sexy English accent while offering my dad a handshake.
"Nice to meet you Justin. I'm Mr. Ahmad. Camila's father." my dad introduced himself and shook his hand.
"Nice meeting you too, sir." Justin came out with his best smile ever.
"Wow! We have a British gentleman here. What brings you all the way here?" my dad was amazed with Justin and I watched them in amusement.
"Well, my mom ran a business and she decided to move here as a fresh start." Justin simplified and I knew by the look on his face that he was trying his best to keep himself calm when talking about his mother.
"I see. Where do you live?"
"My house is not far from here. It's on Genel Street, sir." Justin answered nervously, rubbing the back of his neck like he always did when he was in an uncomfortable state.
"That's great." my dad smiled, eyeing Justin carefully which made him wished that he wasn't here in the first place after all. I couldn't help myself but giggled at his awkward facial expression.
"Well, how about we take a picture?" Mia suddenly interrupted probably to reduce the awkwardness. That's why I love her so much.

"That's a good idea. Let's do it." I nodded in agreement.
"Please gather around everyone!" Mia called while taking out her camera from her bag.
"Can you take our pictures?" Mia asked, handing over her camera to Adam.
"Sure." Adam said and grabbed the camera.
Justin and Derin moved aside to give room for us to take our pictures as a family. I could feel Justin's eyes on me the entire time when we were posing which made me blushed.
"Let me see." Mia approached Adam and took the camera to look at the pictures.
"These are great. How about you guys join us?" Mia invited Adam, Justin and Derin into the picture and they gave in.
Justin walked towards me and took his place beside me but left a little gap between us. That's one of the things that I like about him. He always tries his best to respect me and my religion. He would never touch me if it wasn't necessary. Ever! He is doing a great job of keeping his words so far.
"Excuse me? Could you take our pictures please?" Mia called to one of the graduates to take our pictures.
"Smile." the girl demanded and she snapped a few pictures of us.
"I'll take that. Thank you so much." Mia took her camera and thanked the girl.
"Are you coming home with us or you want to stay a little longer with your friends?" my dad asked.
"Oh, honey. Let her stay. She probably wants to spend more of her time with her friends for now. Besides, it's the last day of high school for them." my mom persuaded him, rubbing his shoulder.
"Yea. Don't worry. I'll send her home later." Adam kindly interrupted. I briefly glanced over at Justin and he got that 'no way man' look on his face.
"That's great. We'll be seeing you at home." my dad lovingly stroked my cheek once again and left with my mom and Mia as I waved them goodbye.
"It was just a joke, man. Of course you'll be sending her home." Adam patted Justin on his shoulder and Justin gave him a forced smile.
"You know what? How about we leave this lovebirds alone?" Derin teased.
"Sure thing." Adam said and walked away with Derin.
"Finally! It's just you and me." Justin cheered, lifting his fists in the air like a mad man.
"Hyper down will ya?" I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, c'mon. How about we take a selfie?" he suggested with a little smirk on his face. Justin Walker and his smirky face! I just couldn't keep them apart.
"Alright." I gave in. Besides, I've never taken my picture with him before.
He dug out his phone and opened the camera app. He lifted it up in the air and snapped a few pictures of us.
"You're so beautiful." he grinned while looking at the pictures in his phone.
"Why thank you." I pursed my lips.
"I wanted to tell you something actually." he said, slipping his phone back in his pocket.
"What is it?"
"You know that there's a lot of memories here. In high school. Especially you and me. Some of them are sweet and some of them are not." he gazed down at me.
"I'm sorry about everything that I've ever done to you in high school. The rude talking, the pinning against the locker and the teasing. That was before I got to know you. My life began to change since we've become friends." he breathed a sigh of regret.
"Can you ever forgive me?" he plunged his eyebrows together.
To be honest, I've never seen Justin Walker's true honesty when he apologised for his mistakes. But in this moment, he really mean it. Every single word that came out of his mouth just now.
"I forgive you, Justin." I nodded and gave him a reassuring smile.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
