EVA SCARLET.

Scene. (Moon Knight pack Gathering.)

I get down to the ground floor of the pack house where i believe everyone is waiting for our arrival at the table. Liam is walking by my side, his hand is on the small of my back, which sends shivers down my spine.

His touch relaxes me, calming me from being a nervous reck in front of pack members. I just want to be with my mate, in the safety of our room, on the bed, just curdling. "Don't be nervous baby. I will be by your side all the time, we can curdle after our run, okay?" Liam gives me a smirk.

"Were you listening my thoughts?"

"Loud and Clear." He replies with a wink and gives me a kiss on my lips. I just melt into his embrace.

He lets me through a huge hall way which opens into a huge back porch facing the forest. Sam, Pack enforcer opens the huge door for us as we arrive. There are various wooden tables on the which almost looks similar to that tables placed on the camping sites. There are about 150-200 couples seated on their chairs, chatting, eating their food, unaware of anything around them. I note that they all are in their casually chatting and enjoying their time, there are tables for couples, pack elders and single people are also seen occupying their respective seats based on their rank in the pack.

There is a play area park on the other side of the lined tables for kids. I see about a dozen of Pack Helpers, babysitting them. Parents can keep an eye on them from here as well as enjoy their time with their partners. I feel almost all the pack members are present here for the brunch but i think they are mainly here to meet their new Luna.

The two seats are vacant at the head of the table, probably for Alpha and Luna of the pack. Next seats are occupied by my parents on the left side while Liam's parents are seated on the right side of the table and beside them are Beta Maxwell and his Mate Catherine who is smiling brightly at me. I make a mental note of apologising her and be friends with her.

We both greet our parents and they all stand up to hug us.

"It's beautiful." I express my aww.

"Yes, it's kind of formal though. Once a week all pack members and pack adults dine together in the pack house, it helps to keep our pack in check and everyone gets to have a relaxing day with others. Today is kind of important as well for us as I am gonna introduce you to my pack members for the first time as mate and their Luna." He places a kiss on my check. I like it when he shows me affection in private but in public it's a whole different level. "Come on. Let's eat and then I will make introductions."

As Liam helps me get settled on my chair at the head of the table my eyes instantly lands on Noah who is sitting beside Alex. They both are chatting and are passing lovely glances to each other.

My mind totally forgot about Alex, he was in holding cells yesterday when i visited him. Liam did let him out when i asked him to, and now my cousin brother Alex is dining with us.

"You let Alex free. Thank you for doing that." I say to Liam.

"Yes, i did it this morning. And you know what.... Noah and Alex are fated mates. Noah found it out today as he was accompanying me to the cells and he was all over the moon when he found out that Alex is his mate." He says and pulls me closer to his body.

"I am so happy for them. Now, he is no longer threat to you. He has a mate now." I hear Liam growl.

"No, you are mine and I will never let any other person let you take away from me." He whispers his growl.

"Okay." I kiss him and he slides his one hand over my thigh in a possessive manner, and with his other hand he signals Pack helpers to serve food for everyone.

Later, after the grand brunch, Liam picks up his wine glass and gets up. "Attention everyone. I would like to introduce you all to my Mate Eva. I hope you all like her as your Luna as much as i do."

Liam turns in my direction and holds up his wine glass. "You will make a great Luna for our pack. I believe it in you, so do my Wolf Leo. I promise to support you as your Mate and as your Alpha. Welcome to our Moon Knight Pack, Eva Rosé Scarlet Knight and my sweet wolf mate Anna Rosé Scarlet Knight."

Liam gently kisses my lips and every on chears. My mind instantly thinks about how he knows my middle name. He even gave me his surname and my wolf is doing her happy dance in my mind. " We are part of Knight family now. Eva it's so exciting."Anna bust in my mind. My mother squeals in excitement. My mother and Luna Avery hugs us both and give their blessings to us.

"Yes, my sweet Anna you are part of my family." Liam's sweet voice replies her through mind link. I am too stunned to absorb all the information that what just happened now.

Liam then, introduces me to each and every adult pack members. They all seem genuinely nice and friendly especially the ladies, whom Liam's mother introduced me, as her friends. They gossiped about all the topics, from Liam's childhood shenanigans to Liam and mine's grandpups. It felt kind of awkward hearing and thinking about our grandpups.

I also met Demi, the pack enforcer who escorted me to Alpha William's farm house the day I arrived here in this pack which was about three weeks ago. She was shocked at first to hear about my mate being the Alpha of their pack. "Oh my god, Eva I... um mean Luna, you never told me that you were Alpha Liam's Mate." she inquires curiously.

"At that time I didn't knew he was Alpha of the pack." I say. We talk more about our lives and in few minutes of our conversation, i can say, we are best friends now. She also lives in the pack house and her mate is also a pack tracker named Gorge, they were high school sweetheart and when they found out they were mates it made even better.

We chatted about every things and few seconds later I feel tinkles on the small of my back as Liam slides his hand over by body in possessive manner which makes my wolf swoon even more. "I see you have already met Demi." He says.

"Yes, and we are totally best friends now." I reply back in excitement and some giggles.

"Yeah, we have already planned to go shopping to the mall on Friday." Demi says with great enthusiasm. "It will be like Girls day out."

I am not a great fan of shopping but Demi somehow convinced me to go for it as she says 'Live life a little'.

Liam then ushers me to meet his friends and their partners. He introduces me to the group:- Beta Maxwell, Beta Female Catherine, Delta Jeremy, Head Enforcer Sam, Head tracker Gardner and their mates.

They are nice and make me feel welcome in their group. They joke and laugh about their funny stories.

"We used to play rugby together in school and Gardner pretty much sucked at it." Maxwell jokes about his friends. He is funny guy, when he is not in his Beta mode he is kind of chilled guy. The stories he told me of their high school are hilarious filled with all the teenage adventures. My mind instantly goes to the picture i saw in Liam's teenager picture in his childhood bedroom in the Knight farmhouse, where he was wearing rugby uniform and was grinning towards the camera. He looked kind of cute in that picture and my wolf liked his toned jawline which i try to ignore.

"You and Noah used to cry for your mamma after loosing every game." Gardner laughs with everyone joining him. I shake my self to reality. Liam might be listening to my inner most thoughts about him. So i focus on the topic in hand, Head Tracker of the pack Gardener, he is lean and tall guy with less to no muscle on his body. He is standing in amoung these all build guys is almost comical.

"What about Liam.? How was he as a high school teenager?" I subconsciously ask, all the blame goes to Anna by the way, she made me do it. Everyone's eyes land on me and whole group falls silent.

"He was popular one among all of us. He as you know is handsome, intelligent and Alpha born. In high school, every female around him, wanted to be with him, but we as his friends knew that he was desperate for you, his fated mate. Leo, his wolf never let him be with other female, even though many females from our pack tried to be in just in relationship before they find their fated mate. We all used to make fun of possessive wolf but now as we grown up we all respect him." Maxwell says.

He further leads to the story about the time where Liam's locker was filled with love letters on valentine's day from females in his high school. "He dumped all the bag filled with love letters on the ground and let up a matchstick and let it on fire." Maxwell laughs with all the group as he narrates the story. "We all were standing there when he burnt all letters to ashes that day. Leo was furious and adment to find his mate but he was not of his age to find his fated one, so he used to bunk his school to avoid she wolves crushing on him and it was so hillarious watch his Alpha wolf sneaking out of high school every day for a month. Eventually, Luna Avery found out about his daily outing adventures and grounded him from leaving his school and pack house..." I feel warmth and happiness radiating out of Liam standing next to me. He is genuinely happy to have his mate meet his friends.

"Do you remember one time when we were in the woods the other day, near the waterfall. When you two were all wet...." I hear someone say those words and i feel everyone's eyes on us, looking curiously. I recognise it as Noah, Maxwell's brother and I stand corrected when I see him standing arms in arms with Alex, my cousin brother. I know he is talking about the waterfall incident where Liam took me on our first outing trip. I remember Liam kissing me by the cliff. I blush a little.

"DON'T YOU DARE.." I hear Leo commanding him.

I wave a little to Alex and he passes me a bright smile and moves forward for a hug, but Liam growls at him. Alex mid stops his step and settles for a hand shake. Everyone around us starts to laugh, even Noah.

It's embarrassing for me to be in such strange position

"It's so funny to watch your Alpha Mate getting all overprotective of you. I bet you Eva, it's going to be a handful handling that Alpha beast inside him." Noah walks beside Alex and Liam growls lightly at him and everyone looks well entertained. "Everyone, meet my mate Alex from Lycan Blood Pack." Noah introduces Alex to everyone around the table. "Now who wants soda?. We can also play rugby together."

"Can't we skip this time." Sam ask as he groans. "I have cramps in my legs from intense cardio, this morning."

"No, it's my lucky day, one game before the run. I want to show my skills to my mate." Noah replies back.

Liam holds my hand and kisses it gently. "We can leave if you are tired and rest before our run." He looks deep into my eyes and i feel his love and tender care for me though those blue see deep eyes.

"Don't you want to play your game with them? I would love to see your skills as well." I lower my voice in a whisper and wink.😉

"No, i want to spend time with my Luna. They can wait." He gently tug my loose hair behind my ear, without breaking eye contact. "I can show you my others skills." He says seductively. I can't handle him flirting with me. It makes my inside all hot and in need of his sweet touch.

"Okay, then let's go there." I point my finger in the direction of the children playing infront of us. I am glad to have change the topic otherwise i would have melted into a puddle from the heat radiating from his high intensity smile. "I would like to meet pack kids." Liam gives me his dashing smile and loops my arm around his and walks me through the grass pathway to playfield area.
