I walk in and see groups of kids everywhere. I felt like a fish out of water. But Logan said that this school had a skating team, a music competition, and a good theater group.
A boy with brown hair walks over to me. "Hi, I'm Troye, are you new?" I nod.
"Aricka Sanders, nice to meet you." Troye smiles at me.
"Come hang out with my friends and I-we're the so-called "freaks," he says.
"I'm a freak, too. Being a freak is pretty cool," I say with a smile, and follow him over. There was a good group of kids-some girls, but mostly guys-all at a long rectangle table in the corner.
"Hey guys, this is Aricka, she's new," Troye says. They all look up and wave, but one of them caught my eye. He had green hair and blue eyes. I went and sat by him.
"Hi, I'm Aricka." he jumps.
"Hiya. I'm Sean, but you can call me Jack." I nod.
"So, Jack-what do you like to do?"
"I like to make videos and share them on YouTube." we start talking about YouTube, acting, and other things. Suddenly, the bell rings. "What's your first class?" I look at my schedule.
"Homeroom with Mr. Styles."
"Me too!" he exclaims, and I can't stop my giggle-he's so hyper, it's funny.

"So, Thomas Sanders adopted you. What's that like?" Mark asks, at lunch.
"He's really cool, I love it. He took me to the zoo once." Well, technically-it was Patton who took me, via the Imagination. "My favorite animals are lions." Roman and I could talk for hours about lions. "I bought a black jacket at the gift shop, and a book about endangered species." the jacket was for Virgil, and Logan and I read the book together-he helped me with the harder to pronounce words.

"That must've been so fun!" Dodie exclaims. "I love Thomas-I did a cover of one of his songs from his Ultimate Storytime. It was amazing!" we talked about random things, from the weather to who our favorite Harry Potter character was.

He wakes up outside the abandoned house, to a confused girl in front of him trying to get him back into his senses. This girl was wearing vintage clothing and had quite a distinct accent that Steven had never heard of before, except in movies and TV series. Looking around, he knew something was definitely wrong. The abandoned house looked newly built along with other old houses in the vicinity. Trying to understand the situation he's in with all the clues he has, he eventually asks the girl what year it currently was to confirm his speculations. To this, the girl replies with a serious tone, "1927." Steven doesn't know what to do with all this information. Will he be happy that he could know more about the dark past and possibly try preventing it? Will he be distressed in trying to figure out how to come back to his own time?
