"Virgil!" Aricka runs into Anxiety's room and flops onto his bed. "I need help with my eyeshadow, will you-?"

"Yes, I'll do it for you," he answers. She sits up and hands him her favorite plum purple eyeshadow. "You really need to be taught how to do this," he says, but he didn't really mind doing her makeup-it gave him an opportunity to talk with her before school.

"Verge, Jack and I are going to the park Saturday," she says, as he takes some of his black eyeshadow and adds it to her look-and he wasn't going to lie, she looked fantastic. "He says he has something to give me."

"Really? Sounds like fun," he replies, and walks over to his desk to grab his necklace he'd picked out for her:

"Hold still," he says and loops it on her neck. She gasps at the cold back of the necklace, then goes to the mirror to look.

"Holy-is that me?" she asks, and strikes the sassiest pose Virgil had ever seen her do. "I look-amazing!"

"You're going to-as Roman says-slay them all," Virgil replies.
