Since I was seven, Grams taught me magic, she always said that I was special. After she died because of Damon's delusional quest to save Katherine, I was heartbroken. She was all I had left since I couldn't remember my own mom and dad spent most of his time travelling. Then when I wanted to kill Damon, the spirits and dead witches stop me and started to teach me magic to my surprise. Now I'm one of the most powerful witches in history.

"Elena? I brought more mouse trap for Care's prank." I called out loud. Tonight's prank night and Caroline forced the Scooby Gang to participate, for us to make memories.

"Hello?" I called out again. "This isn't funny at all."

Seeing nobody wanted to acknowledge me, I decided to search in the gym. Where the hell are they? "Hey guys are you here? Stop messing with me!" My heart began to pick up it's pace.

"Lena! Where the hell are you?" I cried in frustration and panic while pushing open the gym door.

"Monique! QUICK, RUN!" My twin screamed, fear plastered all over her features. My breath hitched in my throat as I took in the surrounding. The cries of Matt and Bonnie reach my ears as they knelt beside a dead Tyler. Matt was trembling on the floor, his eyes not leaving at a handsome looking, blonde male who gripped Elena roughly by the neck. I wasn't running away unless Elena's life is unthreatened and safe.

"So we have company. Who is this?" He snapped at them, obviously ignoring my presence.

"I'm Monique Gilbert," I informed, glaring at him, "and you are?"

"Klaus." he said with a smirk. Shit he's the hybrid everyone's afraid of.

"From the horrified look on your face this must mean you've heard of me? Good things I hope." He says while having this sexy cocky smirk. His grip tightened around Elena's neck causing her to gasp and choke for air.

"You could say that, if you don't expect me to count that time you killed my aunt and attempted to kill my twin right after. I really don't understand how you've received the term 'big, bad hybrid'!" I said with sarcasm. Bad move. Even before I could move my muscles a fraction, I was pinned against the wall by the dick of a hybrid.

"How come I've never heard of you? Only your twin Elena." Klaus asked menacingly, yet I could tell he wasn't in the mood for handling people like me.

"Maybe you're not as good as you think you are Blondie!" I screamed at his ridiculously attractive face. His eyes began to grow darker, filling with rage. I held back a whimper which threatened to escape from my lips.

"You will not speak to me in such a way! Do you understand!" He bellowed. Before I could do anything I was thrown across the room and onto the bleachers. As I struggled to get up, I felt a warm liquid prickle down my cheek. When I touched it it was ruby red blood. It hurt like a mother fucker!

My eyes searched for Klaus who wore a horrified and worried expression. Why? He suddenly zooms in front of me in all his super natural glory, caressing my cut cheek.

"Love I am so sorry, are you alright?" He asked, confusing the shit out of me. Why of all people is he apologising to me? A feeble human who he can kill any second.

"Um, yeah I'm fine." I say warily and awkwardly. Matt, Bonnie and Elena were all staring at him intently.

"No you're not. You're hurt because of me. Here." He bit into his wrist and handing it to me, offering me some.

"What?" I mumbled confused.

"Drink my blood. It'll heal you in no time." He shoved his bleeding wrist into my mouth forcing me to drinking his blood.

"There, there. Have at it." Klaus whispered near my ear while stroking my hair. I pulled my face away from his wrist, still dazed and confused as ever by his actions.

"Thank you." I said gratefully.

"Anything for my mate." He replied, kissing my forehead. Mate?

"What?!" Both Elena and I yelled in unison.
