. "Riley, Wake up!' i heard Chara say. "Five more minutes me and Sans said as the same time. "No dice. I gotta go." she said as she waved goodbye. "Okay, Mom and Dad should be home at any time." i said as i sat up, holding Sans in my hand. I wrapped the scarf around myself as i tucked him inside. The others were passed out at the computer. I sighed as i went downstairs. It was 10:00 at night. "They should have been here by now." i said as a knock on the door scared me. I opened the door, and there was a police officer at the door. "Hello miss. Is your name Riley?" He asked. "Riley, i am sorry to tell you this, but your parents were in an accident." he said. "Are they alright?!" i asked. "You may wanna spend the night at a friends house. Your parents were killed in the crash." he said, lowering his head. "Okay. i'll grab a few things.my friend lives next door." i said as i pointed to her house. "I'll be back." i said as i went up the stairs. "There she is!" i heard Blue say as i entered the room. I grabbed a few clothes items, and threw them in a backpack that was in my closet. "Human, Whats going on?" classic asked as i pulled the bag onto my back. "Were all just gonna go on a little trip." i said as i tucked them all in my pockets. I walked down the stairs, and the officer was waiting on me. "I told your friend's parents about the situation, and they said you could move in with them. They said they will fill out the papers tomorrow." he said as he lead me to the car. "Can i just walk please?" i asked him. "Of course ma'm. He said. "Thank you officer." i said as i walked in the door to Chara's she greeted me and rushed me upstairs. As soon as she closed the door and locked it, i took everyone out of my pockets. I left Sans in my scarf as i took off my bag. "Can i just have a few minutes?" i asked her. She nodded, and i walked out to the balcony. I closed the door, and sank up against the door. Tears stained my face, being illuminated by the moon's light. "Mom....Dad...i'm so so sorry....." i said as i sobbed into my sleeves. "Hey... it's alright kid....." i heard Sans say. I jumped, forgetting he was there. " looked over at him. "Sans...." i said as i picked him out of my scarf and held him close. He gripped my jacket. "Kid, listen. I know what its like. To have the ones you love die. Ive been through it too many times to count." he said. I looked down at him. He had tears in his eyes. "I would go crazy, trying to get revenge for the ones i lost. And in the end, it just ended up getting me killed." he said as he my jacket tighter. "Revenge isn't going to get them back." he said, looking up at me. " i held him up to eye level. "I know how hard it is. It was always Papyrus. They took him, then they took everyone else..." he said as he started crying. I pulled him into a hug, and laughed. "We really are the same, aren't we?" i asked as i pulled him away. "Yeah. i guess we are!" he said as he wiped the tears from his eyes. I smiled at him, and he smiled back. "Thanks Sans." i said as i hugged him. "Heh, no problem, kiddo..."
