《My Salvation (CURRENTLY EDITING)》Chapter 24

The translation for the above song:
Live in the moment, you won’t regret it
We live for today, tomorrow is leaving.
From now and on I will not ask.
I want to know where is the coming tomorrow,
So that I enjoy seeing and experiencing it.
This world is beautiful and pretty.
And beauty beautifies the world!
Live in the moment, you won’t regret it
In these days, I'm not alone.
And my dreams, I color them with my hands.
I walk and never be afraid,
And tell time to stop!
And I draw and erase a new world,
A new world!
Live in the moment, you won’t regret it
Time waits for no one, don’t you forget it
Yesterday’s the past so keep pushing forward
Don’t stop, don’t quit, you just keep going
We can party, party right here right now
Tomorrow’s too late, just live in the moment
Live in the moment, you won’t regret it
Between the flowers, I mark my step!
And walk to the sunlight,
And own my life!
In these days, I'm not alone.
And my dreams, I color them with my hands.
Choose with heart and soul, alone, where to go!
I let my self find myself!
Find myself!
We felt this song perfectly describes the situation of Aziza and how she is coping. Enjoy the song!

Now on to the chapter!
Nawal's POV
Aadil went to ask the doctor if she is able to go home soon. I decided to tell her and Naushin the shocking news of us staying for a while at his house. Naushin probably will faint on hearing this. Her reaction when our boss drove was enough for me to understand how weird and awkard it is for her. I entered the room and saw both of them on the bed, watching something. This time Aziza was smart enough to look before I scare her again.
"May I as well know what you are seeing?" They didn't said anything and this made me more curious. Finally thinking, I quickly got on the bed - thanks for it being large enough to fit us three people, I got dissapointed as Naushin locked her phone.
"It's nothing Nawal. I was just showing her...random stuff?" The way Naushin said made me got to thinking. But I shrugged thinking it might be just dumbass videos. I got off the bed and decided to tell them.
"Well, you know what happened at our house. Your bedroom window is completely shattered and if we go back, chances are we will be under attack again. So Aadi-" I cleared my throat. God. That was near!
"Mr. Sheikh suggested that we will be living with him until everything is sorted. Some CCTVs are going to be added too. Don't worry, it's just for two weeks." Aziza's face was priceless. She looked as if she got the highest eidi in the house while Naushin - as I predicted was on the verge to faint.
"Yaaaayyy! Finally I will be spending my time somewhere else. Cause sis? Our house felt like it's prison. Not that I hate it. It's just, I wanna go out and explore places. But we are not getting much time so this is the best opportunity for us! And Naush sis, chill baby chill. Don't get so scared as if your boss is some sort of devil. I mean, look at my sister. She doesn't even look like she hated the idea. She is just as excited as I am. Right sis?"

"Yes. I mean NO. No I am not." That little... She tricked me into this and is having an evil smirk. Naushin also got out of her shock state because she too was looking at me with a full grin. Imagine this scene infront of Aadil! Oh god. I think I might have cover my face with Niqab (face piece) and sunglasses forever due to the embarrassment. Was I excited? Maybe, maybe not. I was happy with the way he cared but-
My train of thoughts were cut as Aadil cane back and sensed the awkward air around us. Please don't ask about it. Please please please don't ask abo-
"What's wrong?" And he asked.
"Well, we were just saying how Nawal is excited to be-" I cut the sentence mid-way and placed my palm on her mouth. Is she planning to fire me or something? Idiot. I cleared my throat again and was thinking for a better excuse but Naushin beat me to it.
"Oh that she's excited to sta-" I placed my other palm on her mouth. Are they insane?! My job is on the line. Plus add my dignity which was about to be in crumbs because of them. I turned to face him.
"I was just saying that how excited I am when Aziza gets discharged. Yea discharged. Nothing else." I faced to these dumb heads and made my expression which I hope clearly said them to agree with me. They nodded simultaneously. Aadil was still confused but didn't thought about it.
"Guess who is getting discharged today?" Aadil said in a different tone making us all shock. She is able to go home? Aziza's got so happy she jumped but winced as the pain shot up.
"Hey hey you dumbo, take it easy. Are you okay?" Me and Aadil said in unison. Telepathy much? I saw both Aziza and Naushin snickering quitely. I didn't even had the courage to look at him. Good thing he too didnt said anything about this.
"I'm fine you guys. Didn't knew you can read and sense each other minds that much huh? Anyway. Take me to your home! I am gonna die if I stay any longer." We both ignored her first question though. Let it to be a drama queen at random times.
•☆•☆•☆•☆•☆•☆•☆•☆•
"Really it's fine. I can manage in a hotel for a while. Not a big problem for me." I know Naushin is doing this intentionally. She doesn't want to stay with her boss because who does? But we all need her in some sort of way. She is the only friend I have got after years on which I can trust and tell about my stuff.
"Miss Naushin. I see you have problem in staying in my house. But I promise it will be for a while. As you can see, both of them can't live without you now." How did he? Did he just read my mind or something? What even...
"Please come and stay with us? I can't possibly handle this little brat here can I?" She just laughed at us.
"No guys and sir. It's not a big deal. It will be awkward for me and I don't think-"

"Now do you want me to fire for you to stay with me? I hope not. Get in Miss Naushin." Aadil said with all seriousness but at the end broke a smile telling he was joking.
"Alright alright! Let's go."
"Finally! I thought this will go on forever." Aziza said dramatically and sat in the car. I sat in the middle and Naushin beside me. So basically I'm sandwiched between them and I am silently praying for them to not tease me.
Fifteen minutes later and they started their game of spilling my beans out. Aziza just created a group chat on WhatsApp and both of them are irritating the crap out of me.
I know right?! It definitely looks something is going on between my bro and my sis.
Oohh yess! You know me. I'm all about juicy stuff and gossips. And this juicy stuff my dear is really interesting not to miss. Did you see how they said the same sentence together! *sighs* It's like they are soul mates!
You just said what was on my mind sis! I have seen both of them staring at each other when the other is not looking. And frankly my bro is one hot looking guy. I can understand Nawal sis."
WILL YOU FREAKING SHUT UP! NOTHING IS GOING ON BETWEEN US. GOSH YOU GUYS!
*
Aadil looks at us asking what are we doing. I instantly got tensed. What if he reads the messages? I quickly shook my head and thought to delete the chat from all of our phones. His driver was nearby to his house so he turned his attention at us.
"Why am I in the group?" To get married. I thought sarcastically. Ofcourse to chat! But I won't be that bold to say.
"Your sister here thinks it is a good idea to add you in our group." I said, putting all the blame on her. She glared at me but went on explaining,
"Bro it will be fun here. And you know, exposing secrets." This time she looked at me, wiggling her eyebrows at me. Huh. My trick didn't work at all. He had this cute smile on his face before the driver saying we have arrived. We all went inside. Aadil said we will go tomorrow to pack the bags and the bodyguards will bring later on. His house is- scratch that. His MANSION like house the houses I see on the Internet. I thought the interior of his office is amazing. But this right here is so much better.
A gigantic chandelier hung at the centre of the hall with expensive looking furniture. Even from far away people can recognise those sofas look exactly what they will have in the Sheikh's houses. The silver/gold sofas and the light from the chandelier made them look more beautiful. A wooden table at the centre followed by two side tables at the corner of the sofa.
I saw another chandelier on the stairs. The stairs were from the centre and then they split into two to go in different direction. At the corner I spotted a comfortable looking dining table and the way to kitchen. Might see that later. Aadil quickly showed us each our own rooms.
"Who are you exactly bro? This looks as if we entered into a Sheikh's house!"
"Uh it's cause I am a Sheikh?"
"What? You belong to the royal Sheikh's of Middle East? Oh my gosh I am gonna live with a Sheikh's family member!" I think Aadil still didn't understood what she was saying.
"Sir, she means the Sheikh's, the royal family that rules Middle East. For example the King of Saudi? His name starts with Sheikh and so does other's. Now you understood?" I saw him putting the pieces together and finally got what she meant.
"Oh! No I don't belong to a Sheikh but my sir name is Sheikh. Wait. So you decided to stay with me just because you thought I belonged to a Sheikh?" Aadil teased her.
"You know how much I love you bro right? Don't think this rubbish stuff. Let's go to our rooms. Its quite late and I'm sleepy." She made an excuse and ran to her room thinking she had no other reason to argue. I just chuckled at her reaction.
"Right. So let's meet tomorrow. It's 9:00 pm. Goodnight. With that he left to his room. Me and Naushin too went to our rooms.
I kept my bag at the table and saw the bedroom. The interior is the same but the room has got silver colour everywhere, making it the best room in my opinion. The chandelier above has got silver bulbs whereas in the hall it was golden bulbs. It has got blue curtains and this room didn't felt too royal as the hall. This room was like - simple with elegance, just how I like.
It was as if he knew my choice. It can so be coincidence. But I like to keep the first opinion in my mind.
I sat on the bed and saw my bag fell on the ground. Groaning, I sat down at picked the stuff until I came around the files of Aziza's. It all came running in my mind. The events did made me forget this and some part of me was expecting for this to be a sick joke and nothing else. Guess I was wrong.
Naushin knocked on the door and came inside and saw me sitting on the floor. She came running to my side and sat with me.
"Why are you crying? What's wrong?"
I didn't even realized I was crying until she said. Wiping the tears, I thought to tell her this. My heart is already heavy with this and she is the only friend here I can share with. So I shared everything. What the problem is with Aziza and what consequence she has to suffer. She was just as shocked as I was.
"Is it true...?" Aziza stood there with a shock on her face.

The Stormcrow Cycle
Once a powerful and lauded witch, Ba'an salu-Ba'an now lives alone in a cave in the desert, waiting to die. When she rescues an outlander from certain death she becomes embroiled in a deadly game of politics and empire, of heart and soul, but worst of all--of hope and love and a chance at a peaceful future. Can a disgraced witch find a reason to live her life again--and if so, what price must she pay? The Stormcrow Cycle is a trilogy comprising of The Exile, The Lion, and Abomination. Tags or genres for each book: The Exile: romance, slice-of-life The Lion: romance, slice-of-life, politics Abomination: tragedy, high/epic fantasy (aka "Everything is on fire!") Updates once a week whenever I have time. Cross-posted on Wattpad and Scribble Hub. The CBMokedi cover will return! Excerpt: She looked down at him again. Young. Healthy, from what she could see, except for the wound that was killing him. He was handsome in a way that suggested a life of wealth and plenty. She did not think he had ever starved. Someone important. Her shadow fell across him, and he frowned. Blearily, he opened his eyes. They were amber and bright, even as he lay dying in the dirt. She could feel his soul, blazing inside of him like a fire refusing to die even as his body began to fail. He met her gaze, eyes widening in what she guessed was surprise—or shock. But he never looked away, staring up at her as though transfixed. Ba’an made her decision. She raised her hand and covered his eyes. In another moment, a murder of crows cawed as they took wing. The man and woman were gone from the road, leaving only the dead staring up into the sky. Note: This is a high-fantasy set in a low-magic world. The first book is largely character-driven and we really only hit the real plot in Book II, so if you're not fond of long epic yarns you ought to skip this one. I also don't include trigger warnings, but mind the "traumatizing content" tag--all societies minus one practice slavery and the world is indeed, rather grim!
