《Finally》(4)

I wake up and sigh. I put on jeans, a white top, a shirt and black boots. I put my hair in a messy bun and no make up. I go see Daisy is awake and I put her in jeans, a hoodie and vans. I brush her hair and just put a hair band in. I kiss her forehead and make breakfast. She digs in. I smile and dig in too. I sigh and decide it is time to go food shopping.
We make it and go inside. As I am walking around, someone touches my shoulder. "Clara is that you?" asked Nikki Holland. "Oh Mrs Holland. Hi it's nice to meet you" smiled Clara. "You too, sweetie. I always wondered where you went" said Nikki. "Oh I got pregnant and they kicked me out" said Clara. "Where do you live?" asked Nikki. "A small apartment, it's not the best but until I have enough to buy a house I have to wait" said Clara. "Well Tom is looking for a roommate right now, you can take the offer, it's in our neighbourhood and you both got along back then" said Nikki. "I couldn't... well you can, I'll ring Tom later and ask.... then I'll call you. Here switch numbers" smiled Nikki. We switch numbers and go our separate ways.
I finish and we go home. It's been ages since I saw a Holland. Their a nice family, all boys for the parents. While mine had all girls. I look around and decide where to put things. I put Daisy in her play pen and just finish. I sit down and take out my phone. I mean I do hate this apartment but why would Nikki want to help me? I'm just a girl who was foolish to fall for someone and get pregnant. I sigh and make lunch. I feed Daisy and then put her down for a nap. I kiss her forehead and then I decide to have a nap. I hear a phone.

N-Nikki C-Clara
N: Clara? Hi!
C: Hi Nikki!
N: Great news he said yes and you can move in tomorrow!
C: Wow thank you! I'll thank Tom tomorrow!
N: Well me, Dominic and Paddy will be over tomorrow at 12 to pack and to move!
C: OK See ya then!
I hang up after she says bye and then I decide I will pack some clothes and toys. Daisy wakes up and I smile. She is a happy 1 year old and I'm glad she is happy. I look at her and she warms my heart. Her deep brown eyes and brown hair. She is a double of her dad and me. OK her eyes are my eyes but her is her dads. She is always happy, no matter what and I hope she stays that way.
At 5 I make a beef casserole and potatoes. Daisy loves this meal, loves it. I let her watch Zombies movie from Disney channel, since she loves the songs and quite looks up to Zed and Addison. I put her to bed at 8 and then I finish her wardrobe and toys but leave an outfit out for tomorrow. I finish mine and leave an outfit out too. I pack up all the toys and books we have. I put them in the sitting room and then I decide to have an early night, for once. 9 pm early!
Living with my old crush, let's see how this goes!

Incursions
This blurb concerns Incursions book 1: Incarceration. If you could buy superhuman abilities, but they might kill you—or worse—would you do it? Ten years ago, in a world not so different from our own, people with powerful abilities appeared. The new powers were dangerous, dangerous to acquire—dangerous to have—dangerous to wield. World governments raced to find and eradicate the abilities and those who possess them while using the media to rule by fear. Whereas corporations sought to exploit the abilities for profit. Raz Owens was living the dream - a rising star at a job he enjoys, a girlfriend he loves, but it all comes crashing down when Raz disregards his late father's advice. He is pulled into a chaotic underworld of clandestine labs, shadow organizations, and super-powered criminals. Used as a human test subject in a place where few survive the day, he must last long enough to escape. His only advantage? A power that seems nearly useless—a heads-up display. Contains: monsters, violence, death, dismemberment, gamelit, superpowers, superpower consequences, good guys, bad guys, good guys who might be bad guys, bad guys who think they are good guys, good guys that might go bad, bad guys that might turn good, guns for hire, competence, incompetence, continence, incontinence, conspiracies, and some of what I just said wasn't true. This story is written in third person limited POV. That means you can expect to know many of the thoughts and inner dialog of one character, and only see the actions of other characters. This POV does include scenes without the main character, and thus the reader can and will know things the main character does not. Further, this means characters act on what they know, which is almost always less than the reader knows. Something else to know. These books do not hold your hand. If you're reading it and thinking "Gosh, why aren't 'they' doing some 'obvious' thing." Bad news. You probably missed something that explains exactly that. If you're seeking a light read that doesn't ask much of you as the reader, you're invited and very welcome to come on in, but this might not be the story for you.

Redhill
The world has been destabilized thanks to the emergence of supernatural creatures. Hordes of werewolves swept across the world, spreading like a pandemic. The Guild was created by the United Nations to counteract the threat. When he was only seven, Kyren’s parents were killed by Guild hunters for being something they were not, werewolves. Thinking he was a victim, Kyren was adopted by the same hunter who had killed his parents. Now, Kyren has begun to undergo certain changes, changes that are coming just as they do to every member of Kyren’s heritage, changes that make him look indistinguishable from the abominations that his adopted father is sworn to kill.

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!
