worked so damn hard,

In the end it broke my heart.

Shattered my confidence,

Played with almost everything which I call "this is what I'm good at"

Made me feel like---

Like everyone is just better than me,

smarter than me.

The thought that I worked as hard as them or more

And they're at a position, I'm not.

Nobody loaded their expectations on me,

But it hurts when it's yours that you couldn't even fulfill.

they say your overconfidence kills you,

But is it true, that it leaves you with none?
