☾unavngivet - ☼
It had been two days with Mark and Haechan trying to figure out what Haechan's memory meant. They had worked out some theories but didn't want to clarify anything.
Haechan hadn't remembered anything since. It was frustrating him a lot because at times it was like he knew things he couldn't even remember. It was starting to interfere a lot with his emotions as he sometimes started crying without context or got extremely mad. He even hit Mark one time as the older had just left the bathroom.
The two were currently sitting in the shades under an apple tree outside in Mark's back garden, watching over Mini who ran around with a water gun, splashing water on the purple and red flowers.
Haechan exhaled and looked up at the sky. "There's something I really like about it," he whispered catching Mark's attention. "The sky."
Mark observed Haechan's side profile as the latter was so engulfed in the big blue blanket. His eyes were shining and his smile was as pure as it could get, all evil and bad things fleeing away in fear by the power it held. A smile the came from within, one that could make others smile and that's just what happened unknowingly to Mark.
"I feel safe looking at it," the younger said.
Mark nodded. "I like the sky too. At night that is," he chuckled. "We could stargaze today?" he suggested and Haechan looked at him, locking their dark eyes. "I do it quite often. It calms me down and there's this one star that always catches my attention."
The tanned boy grinned. "Really?"
"Yeah, it's so bright and lively. I always manage to find it," Mark beamed warmly. "I can show you it."
"Sure," Haechan said and looked at Mini who now sat on the grass playing with some fallen green leaves as her little blue water gun had run out of water to use.

"Marker! Haechan! Look!" she yelled and lifted up her hands, showing two leaves she had successfully managed to tie together. Mark couldn't help but giggle and Haechan passed her a thumbs up.
"Good job Mini," said the older.
"Is her name really Mini?" Haechan suddenly asked.
"Her name is Minhee but when you say it fast it sounds like Mini. So we call her Mini," Mark explained.
Haechan frowned. "Like she calls you Marker and you call me Haechan?"
"Yea you could say that, like she calls me Marker and I call you Haechan..."

"Don't you think this has been punishable enough?"
"But Jaehyun, when he starts remembering he'll fall deeper in love with the boy. He'll be beyond heartbroken once we pull him out of his trance."
"No, you don't! This has already gone too far. I'm telling you Jaehyun, this will not end well. You'll end up breaking Donghyuck into pieces! Literally!"
"When will you realize he loves the boy?"

"Where are you boys heading?" Mark's dad asked as the two boys rushed past him in the living room and over to the entrance.
"We're going to the shack really quick," Mark mumbled and ran out of the front door, hand embracing the younger's who stumbled behind him, giggling excitedly.
Mark's dad just shook his head as the front door slammed shut.
The boys ran over the gravel courtyard and over to the shack, darkness stroking them from the sides as it was really late, so late that Mark's mom was already asleep.
They stopped at the shack and Mark quickly vanished into it, appearing a few seconds later with a metal ladder. Haechan furrowed his eyebrows as the older placed the ladder up against the red-bricked wall of the shack, shaking it slightly to make sure it was stable.

"Cuties first," he joked and held his hand out for Haechan to take, who felt a pink color brush his cheeks.
The younger hesitated but took Mark's hand where the older then helped him up the ladder until they reached the roof of the shack. Mark crawled up to the top and helped Haechan do the same. They sat in silence for some time as their eyes got used to the darkness of the early night's colors.
Soon enough, the stars started appearing eagerly. That was one of the perks of living so far away from everything. There were no street lamps or house lights around, so you could see so far away into space, see details many never knew existed.
Haechan was extremely blown away. The shapes and explosive colors reflected in his shining eyes, making them look almost purple, and Mark couldn't stop looking at him. His tiny mouth agape and his wavy hair swaying in the breeze, he was beautiful, something Mark seemed to always forget.
"This is unbelievable," he smiled and caught Mark staring.
"Yes," the raven-haired choked and looked away.
"Where's the star you were talking about?" Haechan asked, looking away flustered as well.
Mark coughed. "It's right there," he said and pointed a little to the left, but his hand lowered as he found the star had disappeared. "I-It's not there anymore," he stuttered and looked terrified at the place his star used to shine so brightly. "I don't understand. I-It was there a week ago," he teared up.
Haechan smiled and moved closer to Mark, hugging himself onto his left arm. "Don't worry Mark. It just means an angel has vanished. It might come back if the angel is found," he told in his soft voice, causing Mark to look at him.
"What?"
"Stars are made by angels. If an angel vanishes the stars they created will vanish as well. But if an angel dies the stars the angel created will stay, as a memory, so your star will appear once the angel is found," Haechan said with a sigh, but then froze as tears started pinching his eyelids.
Mark was shocked and stared at the younger in disbelief. "H-How do you know all of this?" he stuttered.
Haechan moved away from him abruptly, panicking. "I-I don't know. It just c-c-came so suddenly," he was shaking and Mark was quick to pull him into a calming embrace.
He shushed the brunette who whimpered a little and rocked him back and forth. He always did that when Mini got hurt and it helped.
After a few seconds of complete silence, the younger spoke again. "Why does it hurt to remember, Mark?" Haechan asked and scrunched his face, wiping away his unwelcome tears. "It was like my head was hit by lightning, i-it spun and-"
Haechan was cut off by Mark shushing him again, placing his hand on the younger's forehead. He was good at comforting people, one of the only human interactions he was confident in. "Just calm down. It doesn't hurt now, does it?"
The brunette nodded. "But it hurt before."
"I know," Mark whispered, his face falling as he thought.
Angels.
He chuckled.
Haechan was so innocent and cute.
But Mark had no idea that what the younger had said was the sad truth. An angel had vanished and as a result, Mark's favorite star had vanished as well.
Mark had found the angel, though. He just didn't know yet...

Legacy: A wolf's tale
Follow Akascha as she goes from a beast of burden to a lovely (well more like a slightly belligerent) young woman! Note. This is a shory story (about 25.000 words) I wrote a while back in high school. Therefore, the range and depth of the story might be a bit lacking, but I wanted to share it with you anyway now that I discovered RR. Although I would love comments or constructive criticisme (as one can always learn), be aware that I have - at this point in time - no plans of rewriting this story. Thank you and I hope you enjoy! Oh and before I forget! The first chapter is rather short, but the rest of the chapters will make up for it.
