The door to Johnny's room was kicked open, revealing a distressed Jaehyun with messy hair, breathing heavily with eyes as big as a child's imagination. No words were needed for Johnny to understand what was happening. All Jaehyun needed to do was nod at him.
The tall male rose from his seated position at his desk and ran over to Jaehyun, pushing himself past the younger who followed behind him, both fast-paced and hearts heavy.
It wasn't long before they reached the door where Doyoung stood waiting for them. Johnny looked at him with a hopeful expression.
"He'll be alright," Doyoung assured. "Donghyuck is a strong little kid. He's been able to love someone unrequited for years, he'll be able to do it again."
Johnny inhaled sharply.
"Let's go in," Jaehyun mumbled, and Doyoung obligingly opened the door to the room the three stood in front of.
In the room was Taemin. The angel soared above a giant hollow dome made of glass, his white wings spread out in full glory. Taemin looked at them with a smile. "Are you ready?" he asked.
Johnny nodded, but Jaehyun kept his emotionless expression. He was afraid Donghyuck was going to blame him or hate him forever. He didn't want to be the face Donghyuck would associate with being the cause of his heartbreak. Jaehyun did, after all, choose the punishment, but at the time the sideways punishment was really the less brutal one.
Maybe not so much mentally, but psychically it really was the less harmful, and Jaehyun doesn't know if Donghyuck will ever understand that, so he's afraid.
Doyoung walked over to the dome. He placed his hand on the glass. "Just like when we sent him away, into the human world, he'll appear inside of here. Just tell us when you two are ready, Taemin will pull him back."

"Okay," Johnny said. "Pull him back then," he inhaled sharply. "We're read-"
"Wait!" A voice sounded through the room as the doors were flung open, revealing the short boy with glasses known by the name Jeongin. "You haven't pulled him back yet, have you?" the young angel asked.
"Angels under eighteen aren't allowed in here," Doyoung said strictly, walking over to Jeongin and pushing him gently towards the door.
"I'm Donghyuck's best friend! I need to be here when you pull him back!" Jeongin spat and wriggled himself out of Doyoung's hold. "Just pretend I'm not here if it bothers you so much."
"Let him stay," Taemin told Doyoung, causing Jeongin to bow.
"Thank you so much!" the little angel thanked and scurried over to Johnny and Jaehyun.
No one said a word after as Taemin cleared his throat. He soared further up and closed his eyes. Golden light started appearing around his right hand and as he opened his eyes they were as orange as the sky when the sun goes down.
The four watched as Taemin moved his glowing hand towards the glass dome, the light increasing, causing them to look away from the blinding sight. The whole room filled with light and when Jaehyun opened his eyes again, the light was fading and once it was fully gone, the four looked back at Taemin and the dome.
A tear left Johnny's eye when he landed his gaze before him.
Inside the little glass dome sat Donghyuck.
Donghyuck looked around with tear stained cheeks and when his eyes met the other's he realized what had happened and he only started crying harder.
His punishment was over and Mark has probably already forgotten everything about his existence at this point.
