《Smoke (Bakugou Katsuki x Reader)》Chapter 26

(Y/n) POV
"Hm. Interesting."
"What."
I was currently pacing around my dorm room looking into the details of this so called 'mission'. Katsuki was laying on my bed, presumably scrolling through his phone.
"Well it says here that we're busting into a drug cartel on the east side of the city but it doesn't seem like a 4 man job, y'know? I feel like a simple mission like this should require less people."
I sat down on the bed next to him, showing him what I was talking about.
He sat up and began analyzing the information, knitting his eyebrows together at a certain point.
"What is it?"
He looked like he was deep in thought for a few long seconds before turning to me with a questioning look.
"Isn't this place known for underground human trafficking too?" He noted, pulling his phone out for a quick Google Search.
I snatched the folder from him, taking another overview of the details.
"Yeah, look." He showed me his phone.
'The Yakubutsu: rumors about human trafficking?'
The other headlines read something similar.
"Huh. It seems like they would've mentioned something like this." I stared at the folder with a puzzled expression.
"Well either way, it doesn't matter." His voice got quieter.
"J-just as long as you're safe, there won't be any problems."
I felt my knees go weak for a moment.
I snuggled up closer to him, intertwining my fingers with his.
"You're too sweet to me."
"Well you dese-" I cut him off, placing a gentle kiss on his lips. He grabbed me by my hips, holding me closer to him.
I let myself drown in his intoxicating, caramel scent, allowing the sweet smell to surround every fiber of my being.
His hand began slipping under my shirt, his thumb tracing circles on my (s/c) skin as his hand began inching up.
'Knock knock knock'
We were interrupted.
Of course.
"Ms. (L/n), I have some more files for you!" I heard the kind voiced woman I knew as Nagisa speak from behind the door.

I separated our lips, leaving him for the brown haired woman.
"Oh, ok." I ran up to the door, opening it swiftly for her.
I could hear Katsuki take a in a sharp breath.
"Here yo..u...go? I'm sorry, I was I interrupting something?"
I looked down at my clothes, which were ruffled up.
I could tell her gaze was flickering between me and the blonde.
"Yes." He yelled
"NO!" I yelled back, turning back to her, the tip of my ears turning red.
"A-anyway..here are some extra files about the mission. If you don't feel comfortable with it, then I'll do it. But it's gonna work more effectively if you do it. Well, I'm off! See ya soon!"
The woman sped off in her black pumps.
"What was that all about." Katsuki sneaked up on me, wrapping one of his arms around me, the other closing the door.
He began kissing me passionately as soon as the lock clicked.
My eyes flickered to the digital clock.
'8:57 A.M.'
I chuckled into our kiss, pushing him away.
"As much as I'd love for you to stay here and hang out, I gotta get ready and read over the other folder."
He sighed, stepping back.
"Whatever. Just stay safe, alright?" He seemed a bit pissed off but still hugged me and kissed my head.
"I promise."

What the fuck am I doing?
That was my thought right now, in the back of a black van being driven by lord knows who. Beside me were 2 other girls I now knew as Emi and Sora.
Emi had short, dark red hair, with beautiful, striking, golden eyes. Almost like a cats, you could say. Sora had thick, gorgeous snow white hair that cascaded down to her lower back. She had wide, vibrant orange eyes that basically lit up a room.
Safe to say
They were gorgeous
Makes sense why they're here.
You see, I'm currently sitting in the van of some pimp who wants to sell us to The Yakubutsu.

Best Jeanist and the other two guys were going to deal with the drug cartel. They sent me to deal with the human trafficking. Of course, they were gonna send other heroes to help me out when I bust them but for now, I was the only one on the job.
I asked for a mission and this is what I got. Serves me right.
I looked at both the girls. Emi was a complete and utter mess of tears and sobs. I couldn't help but feel terrible for the girl. She couldn't have been much older or younger than I was. Sora seemed to be more calm. She definitely looked shaken and a bit scared, but I guess she was too shocked at the moment. Worst part was that I couldn't tell them I was gonna help them. I had to sit there and pretend that I was just as petrified as they were about the whole situation.
We all jumped, startled as the loud voice of the man who we assumed was driving boomed around the van.
"You three need to shut the fuck up. NOW."
We just kept quiet, following orders.
————
A few minutes later, we had made it. Or I assumed we had because the van stopped and I heard the latches on the back doors begin to open.
A different man stood behind them though. He had a scruffy stubble paired with just as dirty looking black hair pulled into a man bun.
"You three, come with me."
His voice seemed forcibly strained. It was like he was trying to change his—
Hold up..
Aizawa????
I sighed in relief, knowing I was no longer alone in this mission. I looked at my surroundings.
Okay.. weird parking garage.
They took us to an elevator which was at the other side of the building.
We all waked in quietly, the elevator descending into the 'B' which I assumed stood for Basement.
I could hear both of the girl's shaky breaths as the elevator made a 'ding' and the door opened.
Behind both metal doors, was something a was secretly hoping wasn't there but knewY there was no other alternative.
These poor fucking girls.
There was a decent amount of girls. Maybe 20-25. They all seemed to range from early teens to around early twenties.
"Ah, so they've arrived." A new voice was introduced into the scene.
Another man, early to mid thirties. Had a clean shaved jaw with a military style haircut.
He inspected us, looking us up and down.
Fucking disgusting
He walked closer, taking a particular interest in Emi, who may I add, was shaking as if it was bellow -16°F. He then picked up a strand of my (h/l) (h/c) hair. I tried my hardest not to swat his filthy hands away from me, clenching my teeth as he twirled it around his finger. He then walked over to Sora and ran his hands down her torso. She seemed extremely uncomfortable..
Could ya blame her?
Abso-fucking-lutely not
"Raven." He nodded toward Emi. "I don't give a shit what your old name was but from now on it'll be Raven. Understand?"
She simply nodded.
He looked at Sora up and down once more.
"Angel."
And then he glanced at me.
He walked closer, too close.
He took a quick wiff of me, making my hairs stand up in utter discomfort.
"Cara. As in Caramel."
What? Why?
Then it hit me
Gee, thanks, Katsuki.
Suddenly, I felt a poking in my pocket. Aizawa was close behind me, letting me know that he was the culprit.
I checked and felt a piece of paper.
Ah, I see.
Now how the fuck do I read this?
"Do any of you have to go to the washroom?"
Aizawa spoke.
Bingo
I knew this trip was the entire point but still. Let me have my moment.
Once we made our way to the bathroom- which was pretty clean to my surprise- I locked myself in one of the red stalls and unfolded the little piece of paper that was stuffed into my pocket.
"Tonight we're ambushing them."
How fucking vague can he get?
I sighed, using the flame from my quirk to incinerate the piece of torn up paper.
Alright then..
Tonight
