"So sorry to hear about the breakup, Leo..."
"Honestly, mate, it's not your fault she moved..."
"You know, if you ask me, she was always a bit off... breaking up the day before Valentine's..."
Rumours spread like a wildfire regarding my split with Sagittarius. To be perfectly truthful, I did not care one bit about Sagittarius, and she felt the same way in regard to me. But still, when she arrived at school acting like nothing had changed, I was just as shocked as everyone else. A limousine brought her to the grounds, where she walked up the stairs accompanied by a slant-eyed woman dressed in a stylish (presumably expensive) navy dress. Her hair had been curled in quite an aesthetically pleasing manner.
Sagittarius herself wore a trendy white minidress, conversing with the woman who appeared to be in her early twenties. "Well, Libra, I have to come and formally leave the school..." Libra rolled her eyes. Libra.... where did I recognise that name from? "Do as you must. Just as long as we can ensure he really is here. Is that..." I noticed Gemini eyeing Libra, a smirk on his unusually pale face. Libra continued to walk, ignoring his stare completely.
(Sagittarius' look)
(Libra's look)
Libra stopped abruptly in front of me. "You go on. I want to talk with the werewolf myself." Libra made eye contact with me. "Walk over to the tree with me. Do not say a word to anyone or make any motions apart from walking." And, for some reason, I started doing exactly as she said. "Sit, werewolf scum. You will answer my questions honestly." She sat next to me. "So, Leo Malik. What do you know about werewolves?"
"I don't know much. All that I know is that I am descended from a werewolf tribe and, according to some so-called warlock, I carry a werewolf gene that is activated when I kill someone." Libra nodded. "Open your mind, Leo. Let me in." She smiled almost evilly, placing both her hands around my head. I tried to scream in agony, but found myself hurtled into a park instead. Billions of bubbles surrounded me, and I found myself wondering where I was. Libra emerged, now wearing a canary yellow dress, looking at each passing bubble curiously. For some reason, I extended my finger toward a random bubble, popping it. And I was once again being hurtled into a new dimension...

"Mr. Malik. At long last."
"Who are you?"
"I'm the answer to all your questions."
"What are you talking about?"
"Don't you wonder why your father disappears once a month? Aren't you curious about the strange 'animal attacks' linked to his disappearances?"
"Listen, I know my dad's not the best, but he's not a murderer."
"Or so you force yourself into believing. Face it, Leo, in covering up the darker parts of your life to protect your reputation, you have become unwisely ignorant."
"Who are you, anyway? Are you some kind of Fed or something?"
"Oh no, I'm not a Fed. I'm here to inform you of your true entity."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"You are a part of one of the five active werewolf tribes in Woodflore Plains: the Maliks, the Rybjinksis, the Andersons, the Coopers and, of course, the rumoured to be alive Badeaux tribe."
"A werewolf?"
"Yes, a werewolf. You mustn't trigger the curse-it will put you in danger."
"The curse?"
"If you murder someone, your dormant werewolf gene will be activated. Not only will you be then susceptible to the pain a werewolf must endure during a full moon, but you will also become the prey of Ophiuchus Atel-Badeaux, the one and only hybrid. She is kept dormant by her siblings, Libra, Aquarius, Orion and Sirius Atel-Badeaux. However, should she escape their control, the first place she will target is Woodflore Plains. Please, Mr. Malik, stay out of trouble. Let us hope you never have to feel the pain of being a werewolf."
"Okay, so all this werewolf stuff aside, can I just say, you're crazy."
"Many have told me so, and then regretted not taking my advice in hand."
"Well... okay...."
"Mr. Miller. I'm a warlock. In fact, you might know my grandson, Taurus?"
"Yeah, I know him."
"Mr. Malik, with that I bid you farewell."
"Okay... bye."
I felt my eyes open slowly. "So the Miller boy is a warlock indeed.... I will need to track him down..." Libra smiled. "Thank you, Leo. You have been extremely.... helpful today." And with that, she stood, walking out of school with Sagittarius.
"Okay, you got this!" Pisces exclaimed, encouraging me. "Okay..." I looked at the purple gas Pisces had placed in a sealed glass dome-like container. "All you need to do is imagine changing the characteristics of that gas completely... transforming it into something else..." I smiled, knowing just what I was going to do. Blushing slightly under Pisces' gaze, I extended my hand. "Naturam Assumere Novos." The gas began to change shape, solidifying into a porcelain-like material as it assumed the shape of a rose. "Mutatio Pigmento." Slowly but surely, I focused on imagining a red rose, injecting the colours into the rose that sat before me. "Happy Valentine's Day." I handed Pisces the container, grinning.

He smiled, clearly taken aback by this display. "W-Wow, I don't know what to say..." I walked over towards him, smiling. "You don't have to say anything." He blinked, and before he could say another word, I placed my lips on his. His eyes widened before closing completely. I felt him smile ever so gently as I wrapped my arms around his neck... "Oh, my god," Pisces breathed, stepping back. "I didn't know... I didn't know you felt it too..." I laughed. "Of course I did! I couldn't have missed it!" Pisces smiled, looking down at our feet before muttering an incantation under his breath. Slowly but surely, we began to float, Pisces' backyard seeming to get smaller and smaller by the minute.
"Look, Taurus, I know it's only been about three weeks, but I think... I think I'm falling in love with you." He grinned, but there was something sad about his smile. "Please promise me you'll remember me even if I'm gone." I frowned. "Why-what do you mean?" He sighed. "Taurus... an extremely dangerous psychic has resurfaced. A siren. She goes by the name 'Scorpio', and Virgo's locator spell revealed she's come into town. You know that sirens kill to appease the devil, and that they need to be stopped. I'm currently the most skilled warlock here, so I will be fighting her, trying to finish her. But there is a fair chance that I will fail..."
I gaped at Pisces. "No! Pisces, please, you've only just come into my life, you can't put yourself in danger like this..." He hung his head, bringing us back down to the ground. I took his hands in mine. "Okay, listen. The truth is, I will certainly die if I kill Scorpio. There is no chance of survival if I face her, but I need to protect this town... I need to protect you..." I began to shed tears, feeling as if I had known Pisces forever and I now had to let him go into oblivion. It felt as though the past three weeks had been three years, and I didn't want to let go of Pisces... "Please don't leave me," I cried raggedly. He locked eyes with me. "I don't have a choice, baby."
"I'm so, so sorry, Taurus. I'm sorry we didn't get to be together properly. But this is where our story has to end." He gasped. "Oh, my goodness." His expression darkened. "Taurus... Scorpio is here. Please, please, please do not reveal yourself." And with that, he left.
SCORPIO
"Knock, knock," I chided, standing in front of the warlock's house. A grim-faced Pisces answered the door. "Hello, Scorpio. How many of these recent 'unfortunate accidents' have been your doing?" I giggled, fingering Pisces' hair. "I'm sorry, but I don't kill and tell." Pisces' eyes flashed and he started toward me. "Leave Scorpio, or I'll make you." I laughed. "Yes, of course you will." And with that, I grabbed his head and he grabbed mine, linking our conscience.
"Well, hello, Pisces."
"We end this now, Scorpio."
"Okay, pretty boy, catch me if you can!"
"There's no running, Scorpio!"
"Well face me now then, you coward!"
"Fine!"
"Aw, little Pisces has a boyfriend, does he? What a shame, he has quite a lovely face too, doesn't he? Would have been fun to spend an eternity with him, cast that immortality spell on him, too..."
"At least my immortality does not come at the cost of deaths!"
"Ah, it's your immortality that weakens you."
"Get out!"
"Oh, dear Pisces, I'm here to end you. I'm not getting out."
"Stop-it hurts-please-no-"
"Goodbye, Pisces."
"N-"
"WHAT DID YOU DO? WHAT DID YOU DO?"
"You must be Taurus."
"PISCES! WAKE UP! PLEASE!"
"Oh, dear, young love..."
"AHHHHHHHH!"
"Where-what-"
"I'LL END YOU!"
"Where is... no, not Hell, please, not Hell-"
"PISCES! NO!"
It was a fire in which I awoke. "My dear Scorpio." The devil licked his lips hungrily. "I will enjoy feasting on you indeed."
PISCES
"Hello? Where-"
I walked hesitantly toward Taurus who was screaming, clutching my limp body.
Was it worth the risk?
Praying he would, with Virgo's help, bring me to my full conscience, I laid a hand on my body. A breath jerked through my physical form, and Taurus began to cry tears of joy. "He's okay, Virgo... he's breathing..."
Please, Taurus, wake me up. Wake me up.
