Aquarius
"Aqua! Hurry up!" Andromeda called, the smell of burning pancakes coming from the kitchen.
"Jeez. Let me get ready." I pulled on my heels, taking one last look at myself in the mirror before drinking a single glass of water, leaving Andromeda with her burning heap of pancakes. I walked out of the house, my ride waiting out front.
"You ready, sunshine?" Drew asked, smirking.
I rolled my eyes, opening the door to the shotgun seat of Drew's second-hand Sedan. "Drive already, idiot."
"Did I tell you how good you look in that dress, sunshine?"
"Thanks, I guess."
"No problem. Wanna hit the swimming hole tonight? Massive party, Todd's bringing booze."
"Why not?"
"Great! I'll pick you up round six. Your folks cool with it?"
"They're not around enough to give a crap."
"Right." Drew turned up the music, the sun tickling his blonde hair. He wore his red varsity jacket, washed out denim jeans and Air Jordans on his feet, his brown eyes sparkling. We had a casual thing going-no attachments, no expectations, no strings attached. Just the way I liked it. We pulled up in front of the school. Drew parked the car, opening the door for me. I smiled at him. "Kiss for good luck, sunshine?"
"Quit calling me sunshine."
I leant forward and kissed him briefly before walking away, leaving him to watch my turning back. I proceeded to walk into Varsity High, flicking my hair slightly as I walked. People's heads turned, conversations ceased and jaws dropped as I walked past, smiling to myself. I had dressed to impress, wearing a figure-hugging black romper with meshed sleeves and a studded collar paired with silver heels. The outfit wasn't trendy. It was timeless.

(Aquarius' outfit)
I arrived at Libra's locker, where she was kissing Scorpio, oblivious to her surroundings. "Anyone home?" I asked, laughing. Libra gasped, pulling away from Scorpio, who was blushing.
"Sorry..."
I realised I was looking down at Libra now, realising her heels were gone. Instead, she wore a pair of canvas high tops, paired with a white and pink dress. There was nothing extraordinary about the outfit-it was actually quite normal. Scorpio wore a white tee over faded blue jeans and blue-and-white sneakers, perfectly countering Libra's clothing. It was true-they were meant to be. Elsewhere, Leo stood, sulking, in a tan shirt and jeans.
(Libra's dress)
"How's your summer been, Aqua?" Libra asked, smiling. "I haven't really been in the loop, so..."
"It was cool. Had some good times."
Scorpio grinned, shooting me a very awkward thumbs-up. He clearly wanted a moment with his girlfriend. I walked away, running right into the last person I wanted to see. "Gemini," I seethed. She stopped in her tracks, looking nervous. She drew in a breath, toying with her white Bardot top. She wore the top with regular denim jeans and sneakers, almost as if she were trying not to be seen.
(Gemini's outfit)
"So, Gem, how were your holidays?"
"They were good! How have you been?"
"Ah, let's see, upset, lonely, angry, sad and euphoric. Hint: you contributed to four out of five of those."
"Aqua, I'm sorry-"
"Save it," I replied, walking away. Gemini glanced at me furtively before turning away. I smirked, watching as people tripped over their bags to talk to me. This was how it was supposed to go down.
"You coming to the swimming hole tonight?"
"You slayed Maddie at beer pong..."

"When we gonna get down again?"
"You gotta come over sometime."
The morning was a blur of conversations during Maths which ended in a detention for me and a couple of others, not that I particularly cared. I left the room, surrounded by a group of my 'summer friends', when Gemini approached me.
"What?" I asked, annoyed.
"Can we talk? I just want to apologise."
"Whatever you want to say to me you can say in front of them."
Gemini sighed. "Okay, here goes nothing. I'm really sorry, Aquarius, for being such a brat and bailing on you. I'm sorry for betraying you and putting anyone before our friendship. I love you, Aquarius, and I want to be your best friend again, if you'll have me back."
A long silence persisted, in which Gemini looked up at me, scared, and the others side-eyed her. Finally, I broke the silence. "Nah, Gemini. I'm good. I've moved on, and you should proabably do the same. You don't want to wind up looking desperate for friends, do you?"
The damage had been done. The rest of the group I was with burst out laughing, belittling Gemini's apology. They mimicked her crying, her running away, her loud sobs which echoed throughout the halls. They did what they had back when Cancer had passed away. It would have been the exact same scene.
Except this time, I was the one who was laughing the loudest.

The Last Orellen (An Epic Progression Fantasy)
According to prophecy, the ninth-born child of Lord Orellen will have the sort of power that changes the world. But in a land ruled by mage families, no one welcomes the possibility of a dangerous new player. Fearful even of their allies, the Orellens come up with an extraordinary and deadly scheme to protect themselves. If the most powerful sorcerers in the world wish to kill the ninth-born, they will have to find him or her first. And that's not going to be easy when the Orellens have called upon dark magic to create hundreds of heirs. The boys and girls are given new bodies, new names, and even new magical talents before they are scattered across the continent. Only one among them is the real ninth, but all of them will have to grow up in a world where they are fugitives. Kalen, once fated to die, is now an Orellen heir in hiding. And he is determined to survive, even if he has to master his strange new powers to do it. The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

A Slip Of The Force
During the New Sith Wars, The Black Sun, worried about their business goes about investing large resources into a project they dubbed Harbinger; to act as the safe guard against the Jedi, Sith and other syndicates that would be intent on removing them from power, if the opportunity shows itself. As such they created a one of kind killing machine, made up of some of the most dangerous races in the known galaxy. But due to unknown sabotage their plans are ruined and their organisation set back centuries in the many plans. Follow this entity on it's journey through the galaxy, as it stumbles upon one mess after another and tries to find its purpose in this vast galaxy. This is my own little star wars fantasy and wish fulfilment so don't come expecting overly complex plots and fully fleshed out galaxy. Hopefully I will be able to make this fun. Also I won't be decribing the species often, so you're going to have to look them up yourself. There are just too many to constantly be describing them beyond their garb.

Aeternalis
One born of nothingness. A world born of everything. To return all to nothing. Or surrender to everything. A man born into an infinite world, trying to find his path to the top. Trials and tribulations come from friends and foes alike until all bow before him. ------------------------------------- Author here! This is my 3rd story on RoyalRoad, the other two having long since been dropped years ago. They were a mess of ideas and had no real substanence to them, leading me to begin hating writing them and eventually just stop writing altogether for about a year and a half. Finally, after reading hundreds of thousands of pages of novels, from low fantasy to sci-fi litrpg's to thousands of pages long xianxias, I finally feel ready to write a real story that isn't a cesspool of ideas blended together. I plan to see this out to the end, as I already have the first few major arcs planned out unlike my other stories where I thought of ideas as I wrote. This story takes place in a world with a litrpg system, as per tags. This isn't a VRMMO or Reincarnation story. The main character exists in and is from said world. There are some differences from other litrpg's which will be explained in author notes in the few few chapters. I plan to publich 6-7 chapters a week, each 2-3k words long. If i fail to do so I will create a back-log I have to eventually make up but as of writing this it's the summer for me so I'll have plenty of time to write. Enjoy, and welcome to the world of Aeternalis.

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions. But you need to live in the dark to appreciate the light...or at least, the lighter grays 🖤🖤
