《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》Chapter 9

There was a knock on your door.
"Hey sis, are you going to class? Hurry up or your going to be late."
You shot out of bed. Is it Monday morning already? You looked at your bed covered in your schoolbooks. You must have fallen asleep doing homework. You piled everything together and threw it in your backpack. You rushed to your bathroom to get ready. Slipping on your uniform you ran out the door. Looking at your phone to check the time, you only had 5 minutes to get to class. Thank God your brother checked on you this morning. You sprinted across campus, slowing while you went through the hall to keep Iida from yelling at you. You speed walked to your desk, sliding into your seat at the last minute.
Your brother turned in his seat to face you. "Made it just in time sis. What's up with you lately?"
"Just catching up on a lot of homework is all." You sighed as you slipped further into your seat. Putting your head on your desk, trying to catch your breath.
"If you're falling behind, why don't you just study with us?"
Mina turned in her seat to look at both of you. "Yeah! It'll be so fun! Study with us tonight?"
Lifting your head to look at her you replied, "Honestly that would probably help a ton."
"Great! We're meeting in the common room tonight at like 4, don't be late!"
Aizawa stood at the front of the classroom, "Alright everybody, it's time to start class."
The first half of your classes dragged on. It felt like an eternity until it was time to go to lunch. But finally, the bell rang, dismissing you to the lunchroom. You made your way to the cafeteria, grabbing a lunch tray you picked up a few items and walked towards your usually table. The girls were chattering about classes and how their weekend had gone. You didn't say anything, not wanting to talk about your eventful weekend at the Bakugou's. Mina talked every now and then, but she was too busy scrolling on her phone to fully participate in the conversation. For that you were thankful, you didn't give her many details about what had happened this weekend and you were fine keeping it that way.
Mina's eyes grew wide in shock, "No way." She looked up at you shoving her phone in your face. "You need to take a look at this."
You took her phone looking at the article she had opened.
Great, you thought, you hadn't told many people about moving back. Laying low on social media also had helped keep the paparazzi off your back. You should have known they would find you sooner or later. But this wasn't the worst of it, the article continued:

Oh God. And there right below the title was a picture of you and Katsuki walking back to campus. You had a grin plastered on your face, it was the most genuine smile you'd had in a picture, in a while. And to your right was Katsuki holding on to your wrist with his usual angry expression. The article discussed how one of UA's top students could be the sole reason of your return. This was completely embarrassing. How could the paparazzi take a picture of you falling and turn it into this?
"Oh my god, Mina put that away and never show me or anyone that ever again." You put your head on the table.
"Oh, it's not that bad Y/N, chin up." You picked your head up to glare at her. "I'm sure no one here pays attention to gossip sites anyway."
You could only hope. The lunch bell rang, it was time to head back to class. You didn't really pay attention to your hero classes; you were still too preoccupied with what Mina had shown you. And in your daze, your classes ended, and you found yourself in your dorm. Sitting at your desk you rummaged through your classwork figuring out what homework you needed to get done. You weren't doing terrible in your regular classes, but you weren't passing with flying colors either. Glancing at your clock it read, 3:58, guess it was time to head downstairs.
Walking into the common area you found Mina and your brother sitting at one of the tables. You took the seat across from your brother. Pulling out your homework you got to go to work on your math. It was something easy to get out of the way of what seemed like endless homework. It wasn't long until Sero came down to join the three of you. He took the seat next to you.
"No Bakugou today? I needed help with my English." Sero said as he pulled out his books.
"I'm right here, idiot." Bakugou appeared behind Sero. He took the seat at the head of the table, in between you and Eijiro.
You worked in silence for a while before Sero spoke up, "Is Denki not showing up today? We all know he needs help most of all."
Your brother looked up at Sero, "He said something about hanging out with Mineta." Your brother glanced at you, with a nervous look on his face. "Speaking of Denki. I need to tell you something sis."
Not looking up from your work you replied, "What is it?"
"Um, well, don't be mad." He scratched the back of his head trying to hide the nervousness in his voice.
You finally looked up at him. "Spit it out, E. Why would I be mad?"

"Okay, just remember you made me worry about you this weekend. So, you owe me, just please don't be mad."
Rolling your eyes, you looked at him expectantly to explain further.
"Um well, this weekend I kind of made a bet with Denki, and well, if I lost the bet, he said he would want to be able to go on a date with you." He rushed the last part of his explanation.
You took a deep breath, closing your eyes. "And tell me brother, you wouldn't be stupid enough to lose to Denki, right?" you said though clenched teeth, you opened your eyes to glare at Eijiro across the table.
"Well I was just distracted from worrying about my favorite sister." He stammered.
"E, I'm your only sister," you grumbled. With a sigh you asked, "When is this happening?"
"Whenever you're free." He said trying to smile at you.
"And what if I'm busy for the rest of my life?" You said running your fingers through your hair.
"Come on sis. It's just one date and who knows maybe he'll be your one true love?" your brother laughed.
"Highly unlikely," you stated as you threw your pencil at your brother. You looked over and saw Bakugou staring at you. "What? You want to go on a date too?" you smirked at him.
He scoffed at you. "In your dreams, dumbass."
"Hey, I wasn't the one staring." You laughed.
"I was not staring! Sero just had a question." Bakugous face turned slightly red.
"What? No I did-"but Sero was cut off.
"What part of the English homework are you on?" Bakugou's voice sounded strained as he got up and moved to Sero's side of the table.
Your brother looked at Bakugou and then back at you, giving you a weird look. You shook you head at him mouthing the word what. He just shook his head, as if to say nothing and went back to his homework. You closed your eyes rubbing your temples, taking a deep breath you opened your eyes and got back to your work.
The five of you worked in silence, periodically one of you would break the silence asking for help. Sero had asked for help on a math problem which led to the argument you and Bakugou were having over the correct answer.
"It's 36." You stated.
"No, it's 26." Bakugou glared back at you.
This went back and forth for a minute or so before Sero interrupted the two of you. "Why don't we just check the answer in the back of the book?" He suggested timidly.
"Fine," you both said in unison, neither one of you backing down about your answer.
Sero flipped to the back searching for the section's answers. "Uhh, looks like it's 36." He said quietly.
You stuck your tongue out at Bakugou. He grumbled and put his chin in his palm as he turned away from you. You rolled your eyes; there he goes pouting like a child. You went back to your English homework. There were 3 questions left before you could be finished with your homework for the night. Diligently you worked through the last of the homework and with a sigh of relief you closed your book. Soon after Eijiro and Mina followed suit, putting their books away.
"Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow," Eijiro said as he stood up.
"Yeah I'm gonna head out too," Mina yawned as she grabbed her things.
Standing up so you could stretch, you heard Sero say something about playing video games with Denki and Mineta. You waved goodbye to Sero before grabbing your things. Katsuki was looking at his phone as he made his way back to his dorm. You walked up next to him and without missing a beat you said, "You know someone once told me and their exact words were, 'Watch where you're walking, dumbass'". You mimicked his angry face and tone.
He rolled his eyes putting his phone in his pocket. "What do you want?"
"You don't have to be so mean, Katsuki." You feigned being offended by his words.
"I wouldn't be 'so mean' if you weren't so annoying. So, I ask again, what do you want?"
"Sheesh, I just wanted to know if you wanted your hoodie back?"
"Didn't I tell you I hated it? Why would I want it back?" He turned to glare at you.
If you were being honest, you didn't quite believe him. "Right, whatever you say. Well I'll catch you later." You said as you turned down the hall towards your dorm.
Walking into your room you dropped your bag to the ground. You put on your favorite pj's and got into bed. Looking through your phone you found a few messages from your agent. Of course, she would have seen the article from today. You were thankful for starting at UA because she had left you alone, giving you time to adjust to your new school. But apparently a few weeks was enough.
Call me ASAP. We need to talk about this. I've done some research and I don't think that boy is good for your image.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes. Who cares about your image right now? You weren't even sure if you wanted to continue modeling. Wasn't the whole point of enrolling at UA about becoming a hero? You slipped your headphones on, closing your eyes, you just wanted to escape all of this for a few moments. The music calmed you as you focused on the lyrics, thinking of nothing but the songs playing in your head.
