Jasper pounced Peter, pinning him to a nearby tree by his neck.
"Is this some kind of sick joke?!" Jasper snarled.
"No, I swear, Major!" Peter choked out.
"Jasper, stop!" Marrisa begged.
Jasper was too furious and confused to even hear what was going on around him. He continued to put pressure, making Peter's neck start to crack.
"Jasper, please!" Charlotte cried.
Melody ran to Jasper, grabbing his chilled fist. She was crying.
"Dad, please don't hurt him!"
Jasper froze. When he loosed his grip on Peter, he disappeared. Jasper whirled around, searching. The warm grip on his hand settled him again. He looked down into the brown, teary eyes of his...daughter. Emmett and Carlisle stood close by. Jasper knelt down very slowly, eye level with his child.
"You have my eyes," Jasper whispered, smiling. "Well, the eyes I used to have."
Melody started to smile, but her bottom lip started to tremble. She was so happy. So very happy to finally find her family. She threw her arms around Jasper, her sobs echoing through the forest. Jasper immediately snatched her up, holding her tightly. He stood tall, still holding Melody. He vowed to himself that he would never lose his girls again.
He held an arm out to Marrisa and she immediately ran into the embrace. There they were, a family of three. Esme had covered her mouth, her teary eyes threatening to spill over. Peter and Charlotte were watching fondly, Peter was still hiding behind Charlotte.
Edward's Volvo pulled into the drive then, Bella in the passenger seat. Edward got out first, coming over to Jasper. A smile spread across his face when he heard what was going on through everyone's minds. Jasper put down his daughter, smiling sheepishly. Edward pulled Jasper into a hug.
"This is great news," Edward said.
He then sped over to open Bella's door, helping her out of the car. Marrisa ran over to her excitedly, grabbing her hands.
"There's someone I want you to meet!" Marrisa dragged Bella forward.
They stopped in front of Jasper and Melody. Jasper smiled proudly, nodding in greeting.
"Bella. This is Melody, our daughter," Marrisa introduced, placing her hand in Melody's shoulder.

Bella's eyes widened. "What?"
"Let's go inside," Edward suggested.
Esme went straight into the kitchen to make the three humans lunch. Everyone sat in the living room, waiting for someone to start.
"I guess I'll start," Marrisa said. "I suppose we're all wondering how you two came across her."
Peter nodded. "I was snooping around. Trying to figure out where Maria would disappear to. I found out that she was keeping Melody there. I snuck in and I scared her. So, she attacked me."
Jasper chuckled lightly. "How did she attack you?"
"I have...abilities," Melody said shyly.
"You do?" Marrisa asked, a little too enthusiastically.
Melody lifted her hand, flicking her wrist lightly. Peter suddenly started floating and he was not happy about it.
"Why do you always pick on me!"
"Because you always pick on me!" Melody giggled.
Peter landed gently back on the floor. Melody felt a little embarrassed by showing her powers. Jasper looked at his daughter, curious as to why she was embarrassed.
"You don't need to be embarrassed, Melody," he smiled.
Marrisa stood and stepped forward to the middle of the room. She has had a much longer time to harness her power. The specific "spell" she uses to strengthen herself seemed to be necessary. Something was going to happen, she knew it. She also knew that now that her daughter has power as well, she needs to do anything necessary to protect her. And if she was to go visit the Volturi, she needed to be stronger. Marrisa folded her hands, mumbling something.
She was suddenly pulled upwards by her abdomen. A gasp seemed to be pushed out of her, but she looked to be at peace. She was suspended in the air, floating effortlessly. Jasper jumped to his feet when she was pulled upwards.
Objects in the living room started floating, along with books and loose papers. Everything settled, Marrisa was put back in her feet, but she was exhausted. She started to sway, but Jasper was at her side. She leaned into him, sighing.
"What just happened?" Emmett asked, worry clear on his face.
"Something I learned to do a long time ago. I'll be fine in a few hours."

"You have powers, too?" Melody asked.
Marrisa nodded. She tried walking, but she stumbled. Jasper held her up, he looked extremely worried.
"Are you sure you're okay? Why did you do that?" Jasper fretted.
"If I'm going to be protecting my daughter and going to go see Aro, I need my strength," Marrisa sighed.
"You're actually going?" Rosalie frowned.
"I have to. I have a reputation to uphold."
Jasper growled lightly, unhappy with the fact that she decided to go. "I'm not going to change your mind, am I?"
"Nope," Marrisa said, popping the 'p'.
"Fine, at least get some rest first," he pleaded with her.
Marrisa nodded and Jasper whisked her up the stairs.
Marrisa's departure was a difficult one. Melody started crying, begging her mother not to leave. Jasper insisted on going with Marrisa, but she...aggressively refused. Alice promised to watch every move they made.
Now, Marrisa was dressed in a form fitting black dress, black pumps and her hair smoothed out. She had a sheer cape-like thing that flowed out into the floor. As she made her way to the back entrance she remembered, she was met by two vampires.
"State your business," one ordered.
Marrisa raised an eyebrow. "I was invited by Aro."
"And you are?" The other one scoffed.
"My name is Marrisa, surely you've heard of me," she was starting to get irritated.
The two vampires' eyes widened slightly. They gestured for Marrisa to follow them.
"Please, follow us, Ms. Marrisa. We apologize."
Marrisa followed silently. She was soon led to a grand throne room. There sat Aro, Ciaus, and Marcus. Jane and twin brother stood off to the side, glaring at Marrisa. Aro stood with a smile.
"My dear! It's been such a long time!"
"Hello, Aro," Marrisa said, uninterested.
Aro walked, more like glided, to Marrisa. He seemed to be so surprised that she was actually here.
"You seem surprised," Marrisa smiled.
"Indeed, I am. We thought you dead for some time."
"It must have been a peaceful 200 years."
Aro laughed. It was a startled laugh. "Jane, dear."
Jane appeared by Aro's side, head bowed.
"Ma'am, I would like to ask for your forgiveness for my behavior at our last meeting," Jane apologized sincerely. Although, Marrisa could tell that it was forced.
Marrisa studied the young vampire. She had a reputation to uphold, kind yet deadly. Marrisa reached out and brushed her fingers against Jane's cold cheek, letting her feel the power she possessed. Jane flinched ever so slightly.
"Of course, you have my forgiveness, child. You are still so young," Marrisa smiled sweetly.
"Thank you, ma'am," Jane whispered.
Jane rushed back over to her brother, clearly startled.
"Now, I must ask. Demetri tell me that you are now family with the Cullen's?" Aro questioned.
"Yes."
"And is Bella...?"
"Still human, yes."
"Oh, my. You must know, dear, if she is not changed soon... We will be forced to intervene," Aro's lips turned down.
"Is that a threat, Aro?" Marrisa challenged.
"Not a threat, but more of a promise," Aro smiled kindly.
Marrisa exhaled, crossing her arms.
"Isabella is my sister, Aro. Choose your next words very carefully," Marrisa said darkly.
"My apologies, madam. I did not know. May I ask how?"
"Her father took me in before she was born. I was her older sister," she briefly explained.
Aro nodded, smiling. He enjoyed learning of her past, for she would not allow him to touch her. He wondered...
"If I may?" He asked, reaching out to grab her hand.
Her powers surged, and Aro was shoved back by an invisible force. Marrisa's face did not change.
"You may not," she said in a monotonous voice.
Aro's face, however, showed his anger. Marrisa knew exactly what was going to happen. She looked straight through Aro; she was going to speak to Alice. Her eyes were hard, her voice holding all authority.
"Whatever happens, do not do anything."
Aro snapped his fingers, and Marrisa was charged by dozens of vampires.

A Forgotten Hero
(author: This is gonna be a long synopsis I apologise. This should be a prolouge but as you will see I have a seperate prolouge, please forgive me. This fiction as a warning beforehand is as basic as it comes, prettymuch following all story conventions of both the mecha and school life genres. I am mostly writing this to figure out my writing style before I begin something truly creative and uique. I dont wanna ruin something I worked hard on by being illiterate. Also illustrations are at a minimum because all I have access to is MS paint.) In the year 2028 humanity (accidentally) created the means to travel great distances through space in a short period of time. This has led humanity down the road of great technological advancement and also led to the spread of humanity across their home system and just begiining first steps upon other solar systems planets. In the year 2033 the human colonies in space broke from the chains of their old countries creating hyper advanced societies disregarding nationality and any other defining factor. Two space societies formed the Solar Empire a monarchic society with its capitol on the moon Titan which controeld the entire human home system aside from Earth which still remained divided into seperate contries. The other was the Extra-solar Leauge. A mysterious society outside of easy contact range with any other humans besides themselves. To help with construction and other work outside of sealed and breatheable atmospheres of their cities and ships the Solar Empire and Extra-Solar Leauge created what became known as Advanced Movement Shells(AMS). These machines are best described as huge exoskeletons or "mechs", and they aided greatly in getting things done by increasing strength, durability, and the amount of tools able to be used. They also aided in quelling rebellions among extremist groups forming in these new societies. Finally in the year 2050 the Solar Empire having divinated their emperor, and now beliving themselves to be their religions chosen people, the Solar Empire declared a holy war of conquest against all the nations of Earth in order to conquer it under the idea that all humanity was required to bend to their divine emperors rule. The first month of the war whent badly for earth as the divided nations fell one by one due to the Empires superior weaponry among other technologies which made their forces nearly invincible. The AMS were used to great effect due to their almost "magical" level of technological advancement. Some nations able to put up some kind of defense created their own versions of these technological terrors. From there the war became a brutal stalemate and suddenly was won by the forces of earth. Why this is still hasn't come to the light of the common man, but one thing is for certain it took a heroic effort from one, or many people to win it for humanity...
