Luckily for Eric, such an opportunity presents itself one night, on his eighteenth birthday. Dropped into the fantasy world of Allaria, Eric finds that he now has a second shot at living the life he dreams of. Unfortunately, not only does he have no idea what he's doing, but he soon comes to realize that this new world doesn't particularly care about him at all, and that there are many people out in this new world that aren't exactly the most fantastic bunch of folks. After being forced into working for a group of ragtag outcasts with questionable morals, Eric finds that life in this fantasy world is a whole lot more work than he originally thought.
