'Thanks for hanging out with me guys,' I chuckled slightly as we walked out of the gym.
'It's no problem! You're transferring into our class in a couple of days, right?' Hina asked.
'Yep, That right! I would have joined at the entrance ceremony, but miss Yukizome just came back, and I wanted to see her before I left,' I explained.
'How did you get into the 77th class when you're only our age? Their upperclassmen,' Sakura pondered, Looking over at me.
'Oh, I got to skip a year of school when I was younger, so I graduated earlier than most, the school didn't realise I was 15 rather than 16 until I had already been invited, somehow,' I shrugged 'But, it doesn't really matter,'
'Actually... why are you transferring into our class?' Hina frowned.
'Apparently Junko requested it, no idea why, but I don't mind,' I smiled as we reached the corner of the side walk.
'Ah, That makes sense! Well, we'll see you in our homeroom in a few days. Goodbye, Y/N,' They waved as they walked off towards the first year's building.
I walked towards my classroom, wearing the standard uniform and carrying the bag I was excepted to. 'Morning, Everyone,' I smiled.
'Good morning, Y/N,' A girl with blond hair greeted me.
'Is miss Yukizome not here yet?' I asked as I looked towards the teachers desk.
'Nah, but Tsumiki still hadn't showed,' I looked over to see a girl with black hair with white blue and pink stripes of it dyed.
'Mikan is still missing?' I frowned.
'Yeah, I even sent some of my men round hers. Not a trace of her there,' A boy with a baby face and short blonde hair spoke up as he leant back on his chair.
'Bummer. I want to talk to her about preforming a joint autopsy,' I sighed as I sat on one of the desks.
'Just don't go bringing those gross frogs in here again,' A girl in a kimono retorted.

'How dare thy speak out against creatures of nature!' A boy with grey and white hair shouted at her.
'Yeah, whatever,' She rolled her eyes. I laughed slightly before I turned around to face the girl behind me.
She had short lavender-brown hair, with a clip of a video game shooter ship. Her pink eyes were glued to the screen in front of her, she was busy clicking away. 'Chiaki, you heard anything from that friend of yours that stopped showing up?'
'No,' she didn't bother to look up, but I saw the sadness in her eyes.
'Don't worry, I'm sure you'll see him again,' I smiled. 'I know you will,'

As the Monokuma announcement went off. I rolled over in the layers of blankets when I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I looked up through sleepy eyes to see Byakuya leaning over me, smiling softly. 'Good morning,'
'Morning,' I yawned before sitting up. 'Ever since I got to this place, I keep having weird dreams,'
'Weird dreams? Such as what?' He pulled on his blazer.
'Well, I've had some about Junko, some about Hina and Sakura, and a bunch of people I don't even recognise,' I sighed. 'It's probably just being stuck in one place for too long,'
'Possibly. I suggest you don't pay and mind to these dreams, they are just that, dreams. Now, come on, we need to find out what the next motive is,' Byakuya offered me my hand and we walked out of the dorms and towards the canteen.
As soon as we entered, I knew something was wrong. Kyoko was sitting on the floor, hugging her knees, the others had the same looks of confusion I did. I quickly walked over to Kyoko, placing a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me and I saw tears running down her face. 'Kyoko?! What happened?!' I felt my eyes widen, Kyoko was crying?
'I'm sorry, it's just, everyone all together like this.. working as a team...' She smiled through the tears.

'She's been like this since I first saw her at 7,' Leon explained 'First she was angry, then ecstatic, then shy, and now this!'
'So, I gather that this is our new motive?' Celeste sipped on a cup of tea.
'Bingo! Right on the money!' Monokuma appeared behind me, causing me to stumble forwards from surprise. 'I will be enhancing everyone's capacity for mood swings and more emotions every once in a while. Starting with Kyoko!' He laughed.
'How is that going to get us to kill each other?' Taka raised an eyebrow at the bear.
'Puhuhu, Things have a way of working themselves out,' His small chuckles turned into a malicious laugh that shook us all to the core.
'I don't care what you put us through! I'll never kill any of them!' I shouted at the bear.
'Oh, that's rich, coming from you, especially,' He glanced at me before vanishing. I felt my blood boil.
'Damn it!' Mondo pounded his fist on the table. 'We really can't do anything against him, can we?'
'We need to find out who the mastermind is, then, we can take Monokuma down,' Byakuya pulled me off the ground before speaking.
'Perhaps, it's one of us,' Hifumi spoke aloud.
'One of us? Are you crazy?' I yelled at him.
'WHAA? My apologies miss L/N, I didn't mean to say that aloud,' He cowered in fear.
'He does make a fair point, however, we cannot be certain,' Celeste pointed out.
'I don't even want to think about one of you guys being responsible for this,' I shook my head. 'You're all too good. Even if you do end up killing, it's the mastermind's fault,'
'I would hate to believe the mastermind is one of us, but we can't deny the possibility,' Celeste smiled painfully.
The air was heavy with tension as we all grew silent. The first to break the silence was Leon 'How about we all just carry on like normal, or something,' He shrugged as he held one hand behind his head.
'Yes.. that's probably the best course of action for now,' Taka nodded. 'But, What should we do about Kirigiri?' We looked over to her to see now she was lying on the floor, sobbing her eyes out while muttering to herself.
'I'll handle Kyoko,' Celeste volunteered. 'As for it, Since Kyoko was the one who was in charge of it I will appoint Y/N to continue her job until she returns to normal,'
'I'll try my best,' I smiled as I felt Byakuya's arm slip around me, holding onto my arm.
Everyone went their separate ways, me and Byakuya headed to the library to do some more readings on case files and books. We spent what felt like hours in there, and yet neither of our emotional capacities were increased. We assumed it was effecting others before it got to us.
'Sparkling justice... Genocider Jack...' I muttered as I looked through the case files 'These are kinda arranged randomly,'
'Yes, but, I suppose it's because they haven't been organised once people put them away,' Byakuya said from behind me.
'Probably,' I shrugged before walking over to him and wrapping my arms around him, leaning on his back. 'I'm bored,'
'Then do something,'
'Can we read?'
He sighed before replying. 'What book?' I smiled in delight, but before I could answer something terrible happened.
'A body has been discovered, make your way to the art room immediately,'
I felt my heart drop. The hope was vanishing.
Despair. It was all just despair. Our hope only was bringing us despair. It finally set in. No one's coming to save us. We're trapped here until a victor is crowned. This isn't a game. This is survival of the fittest. Its just a test of our hope and despair...
And despair is winning.

Soul of the Warrior
In a world where Classes, Stats, and Levels are the everyday norm, Reivyn has a secret. He was unusually aware of his surroundings from an incredibly early age, and Skills and Stats were acquired easily. He was just the son of an ordinary village family, and nothing appeared out of the ordinary on the surface. But below the surface, dreams of another life help shape his mentality and growth. Why does he have some remembrance of a past life, and what is his purpose in this new one? "Soul of the Warrior" is what I call a Semi-Isekai LitRPG. I say "semi," because Reivyn's past life is remembered like a dream, and very incomplete. It is still Isekai, though, as he remembers enough that it directly shapes his personality and his sense of self. The System that governs the world of "Soul of the Warrior" is a combination of modified versions from Selkie's "Beneath the Dragoneye Moons" and Kosnik4's "Magic Smithing." I have changed enough of these Systems and combined them in a way that is unique that I'm mostly sure it's fine, but I still have requested permission to use these ideas. They have both graciously granted me permission. Winner of the April Writathon Challenge. Release Schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri on Royal Road.
