《Byakuya X Reader》🍃Trapped in lies🍃

I felt my muscles stiffen and my heart stop. The motive had only started a few hours ago, but already, death was upon us. I felt a hand grab me, pulling me along as we ran through the corridors towards the art room. I felt so hopeless, I could feel the shock on my face.
Once we arrived in the art room, we looked down as the seen unfolded itself. On the floor, in a puddle of blood laid the Ultimate Fanfic Creator, Hifumi Yamada. His glasses laid next to him, snapped into two halves. His eyes were peeled open in shock and panic. A knife was plunged into his stomach, it looked as if he had been stabbed multiple times before the killer stopped. The art room was in an array of mess, Canvases were knocked over, strewn to the side. Pots of paint spilled over the floor, an array of colours surrounding the scene. I saw my Classmates standing over his body and watched as Leon sighed before closing Hifumi's eyes.
'We have to start investigating, the killer wouldn't have had too much time to dispose of the evidence. Sakura, Mondo, stand guard here. Everyone else, just do your best,' Celeste instructed, even she was slightly perturbed by the death that stood in front of her. Even if she did dislike Hifumi, she did not like the scene in front of her. Even she thought it was such a brutal way to go.
'Y/N, you should try and do an autopsy,' Byakuya suggested as she slightly nudged my arm. Yet I was still silent as I knelt next to him, kneeling down as I examined the wounds he suffered.
'At least 35 stab wounds. Died after the first few stabs, whoever did this was angry,' I felt tears welling up in my eyes as I spoke emptily.

'Y/N, are you alright?' Celeste expressed her concern.
'I'm.. fine,' I lied as I bit my lip, holding back my tears.
'Are you sure? I don't think you're doing too good,' Leon mentioned.
'Let's just get this over with,' I sighed as I stood up, walking over to the shelf the paint had fallen off of.
'Y/N, this isn't like you,' I felt Byakuya place a hand on my shoulder. 'Tell me what's wrong,'
'I'm fine,' I sighed as I leant my head against him.
'I know you're lying. Tell me what the problem is,'
'I don't know,' I said bluntly. 'Let's get back to investigating,'
'You're being unreasonable, but, if it's what you think is best,' He sighed as he looked down at me before planting a kiss on my forehead.
I walked over towards the spilled paint. The colours danced with out other creating patterns of swirls and stripes. With the bright lights shining down, I should see my reflection in the paint. I looked hollow, empty. But before I could go back to investigating I felt my vision blur.
~꧁꧂~
'Y/N... Y/N... Y/N!' Someone shouted in my ear before I jumped to attention.
'Oh, I'm sorry,' I was looking at the girl I had seen in my dream before with black hair along with blue pink and white stripes. 'Did you need something, Ibuki?'
'Not really, but Tsumiki's still missing. I'm getting pretty worried about her. You got any ideas?' She frowned before raising her eyebrow.
'No idea. But, did you see where Chaiki and Nagito went? They've been gone for a while now,' I sighed as I lowered my head onto the desk.
'They've probably found Miss Yukizome by now, bet they're on their way back,' She tried to cheer me up before we heard the door slide open.

But, it wasn't what everyone was expecting. Chiaki stood there trying to support a white haired boy to walk to the classroom. 'Nanami, Komeada, What the hell happened?' A dude with pink hair looked mortified.
'We got out but miss Yukizome... she's still there. We have to go back to get her out of there,' Chiaki stood bravely after she put Nagito down, resting him against a wall.
'Whoever 'they' are, they've shot Nagito. That's dangerous. He has incredible luck, but he almost died,' I protested, slamming my fists down onto the table.
'As much as I would hate to leave her there, if we went there, wouldn't we all die?' A girl holding a camera with cherry red hair added.
'But, Miss Yukizome! She's managed to bring us all together, we can't just leave her there to die. She's our teacher,' Chiaki stood her ground.
'No.. you don't stand a chance,' An injured Nagito spoke up.
'But, if we don't do anything who will? There are rioters outside and there's been so much.. death here. How much more can the school take?'
'Chiaki, I understand you care for miss Yukizome, but we can't do anything,' Peko came from behind her, carrying Mikan her her shoulder. 'The girl I faced, she was strong. We don't stand a chance,'
'But, we aren't normal people. We have talents, we are Ultimates! We have power, we outnumber them, 16 to 3. We have the upper ground. We can do this if we try hard enough!' Chiaki fought on.
After a while of discussion, we made up our minds. We were going after our teacher, Miss Yukizome. We walked down the corridors of the school and eventually we reached a statue of the school's founder, Izuru Kamakura. I pulled a gun out of my pocket and I loaded it with bullets.
'Chiaki. Who is this that we're facing?' I asked her as we continued down.
'All I know is that she's in the class below us. The class you'll transfer to,' She murmured.
'What does she look like?' I felt a lump in my throat. I knew everyone in the class. One of them was doing this.
'She..'
~꧁꧂~
'Y/N,' I felt a Tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see Celeste.
'Oh, I was just.. staring off,' I shrugged slightly.
'We need to investigate, come on,' She lead me over to the side where there laid a bag. I instantly recognised it. It was Kyoko's.
I shrugged it off as a coincidence as I walked over to the body again. I examined the body over again and again, trying to find traces of the killer. It couldn't have been Kyoko, right? Right?
I felt my breathing increase and my heart pound in my ears. What was this? What is going on?
It feels like... I'm being submerged into water... what was this?
I felt my eyes roll back and my body collapse onto the floor. I heard people shouting my name as everything went silent.
What's going on?
Someone help me...
Please..

Still, something felt wrong. It just didn't feel... fulfilling. But then a magical formation appears in his office, and he and his co-workers get catapulted into another world. Profanity will be kept to a minimum, but will be included to keep realism. There will be some gore, vegans and animal activists alike beware. Will include some comedy, some meaningful conversation (I hope) and some things you will (hopefully) never expect in this genre. Hopefully quality will increase as it goes on. No schedule for chapters, but they will keep coming. Feedback welcome. View my other story at https://royalroadl.com/fiction/13168/fork-this-life

Tyny Tales
This is a story about a soldier and a druid, their relationship together and their adventures. I write this story up in bed before I go to sleep so it's something with very little editing. It is something I don't plan, I just write what comes to mind. I hope you enjoy regardless!

The Mentor
This one is for my daughter. She talked me into it (again) and it is her favorite genre of books. So, Bet, this one is for you. The true-bloods, the masters, they came first. That was hammered into Heath's head since he could walk with both words and fists by Karen. As a guardian and half-blood bastard of his vampire father, he would never know peace. His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. Heath was to serve Gerald, an aging Vampire Lord, one who was of pure blood, born to the race, until Heath outlived his prime and then he would pass on the knowledge that was passed to him onto a new bastard to carry protecting the bloodline. But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.
