《Byakuya X Reader》🕊Troubled🕊

'Kill me,' I looked up at my class, tears streaming down my face.
'Y/N, we-' Celeste was cut off by Mondo.
'I'll make sure you don't come out of here alive!' He yelled 'if it weren't for your group Sakura wouldn't have killed Taka!'
'No, we can't kill her. She has useful information on the remnants and possibly why we're here in the first place,' Kyoko pointed out.
'Hold on a moment!' Junko yelled. 'I suppose I should explain,'
'For my plan to work I needed someone to work behind the scenes and control the killing game, but I also needed someone to help me eliminate nuisances within the school, that's where Y/N came in. Mukuro would have filled that role, but she wasn't able to perform such duties. I decided to become the dictator and have her join the rest of you and Y/N. Besides, 16 students seemed like a solid number to start with. But, her talent posed as a problem. She had what I call 'the three atrocities' Atrociously rank, atrociously filthy, atrociously repulsive. It was clear who out of touch with society she was. Meanwhile, my title of ultimate Fashionista status couldn't go to waste,'
'And that's... why you switched identities?' Kyoko asked.
'Yes, but, her inability to match my personality was even greater than I had calculated. She became a lost cause. Anyone would have expected her to get killed off soon. That's why I made her try to go after Toko, knowing the tables would turn on her,' She explained.
'That can't be your only reason for killing your sister? Can it?' Leon asked.
'No, I was also bored,' She giggled. 'If everything went how it was planned that would be boring! So I changed things up, even mixed up some motives,'
'You switched up Motives?' Celeste asked.
'Of course! Originally, you were meant to get the motive of seeing your loved ones being ripped away from you, but, I decided to change my plans. It was too boring,' She laughed.

'Our loved ones...? Being ripped away from us?' Mondo questioned.
'Well duh! But, I realised then that Y/N's title and place as a remanent of despair had been erased! I accidentally took away 3 years worth of her precious memories. Her motive video wouldn't make any sense anymore to her,' She explained.
'Wouldn't make sense...?' I murmured.
'Well of course! If you saw your little brother egging you on to murder everyone, you'd be confused as hell!' She laughed.
'Jataro..? Egging me on...? What are you going on about...?' I tugged at my hair.
'Of course you don't remember! You're brother became the lil Ultimate Artist! Not only that, but he and his friends formed a group with me as their head! How admirable... a little brother following in his sisters footsteps!' She grinned.
'Jataro..? What do you mean... he wouldn't...'
'You can't deny the facts!' He grinned. 'You're brother is what he is, and you can't change that,'
'Why are you doing this..? You've hurt so many people... why... please don't... the... despair,' I trembled.
'Y/N,' Kyoko spoke. 'I believe what happened was neither your fault nor your classmates. Junko did this to you,'
'No.. if I hadn't had told her... where Izuru was..' I murmured.
'I would have found him either way. You just helped speed things along!'Junko laughed to which I cowered in fear. 'You can't deny the part you played even when you weren't a remanent!'
'I'm sorry...' I whimpered as I looked down to the ground, my tears splashing on the floor.
'It doesn't matter. Junko is some kind of... abnormality,' Byakuya spat at her.
'Turning despair into some kind of fetish... Abnormality doesn't even begin to describe it,' Kyoko shook her head.
'Like, Y/N's weird for sure, but this is just too messed up, man,' Leon added.
'You're saying I don't compare to some lowly beast that only kills for money, right? So I'm hopelessly attractive? Hopelessly brilliant? Hopelessly athletic...? I'm the hopelessly perfect ultimate human?' She giggled.

'There's nothing 'perfect' about what you just said,' Byakuya scowled at her.
'Yeah! You're just a filthy piece of trash!' Mondo yelled.
'We're straying from the point here,' Kyoko butted in. 'Junko said she erased three years of memories from Y/N, and I couldn't remember my talent. We need to solve the puzzle of our missing memories. Even if Y/N recovered them,' She instructed.
'Alright then, what memories were taken from us?' Celeste asked but Junko stayed silent.
'Oh come on! Give us some kind of clue here!' Leon complained.
'Your brains are like sponges, all drippy and leaky. I already gave you a clue! All the memories you lost share something in common with a few other things... Do you recall?'
'You're talking about the original motives... Junko,' I pointed out.
'Oh what. Ah, darn. I forgot about the fact I changed it! I guess you didn't get a clue after all. But, I'll tell you since I'm so nice. Each original motive had a driving force behind it. The motive videos; Human connections. The secrets; your past. Money; Greed. Mole; Betrayal. But, you may be thinking, what's the point? The meaning behind those answers? Relationships, secrets, money, betrayal... pretty standard motives. Expect, you got - cold, secrets, sleep, emotions and binds,' She explained. 'These are some examples of motives that exist in the world... In fact, there are as many reasons to kill as there are people on earth. The compel humans have to kill each other, bringing despair into the world. This is what we refer to as the seed of despair!'
'Seed of despair...?' Leon raises an eyebrow.
'Just like any seed, it needs nourishment! That nourishment is hope! Despair can grow by the presence of hope. Two sides of the same coin, divided by a razor fine line... Such is hope and despair!' She laughed.
'How is this linked to our memories?' Celeste pondered.
'If you notice, this is linked. By taking your memories I had you hope. Hope that could be fed to despair. You all wanted to leave the school, That right there is hope!'
'What are you talking about...?' Mondo frowned.
'The only reason you want to leave is because she took your memories... right?' I looked at Junko.
'Correct!' She grinned.
'Which means, if we did have our memories, then we wouldn't want to leave?' Byakuya frowned.
'Why wouldn't we want to leave if we didn't have our memories?' Celeste asked.
'You don't want to know why... it's better in here,' I sniffed.
'Hmm. I want more despair, more panic and chaos. I put so much effort into creating the hope to feed it to the despair. I'll give you a hint!' Junko laughed.
'Just like that?' Celeste frowned.
'Of course! Seeing is believing! I'd like you to see the outside world! Now, are you interested in what I have to say? You wanna see what's out there? I can't wait to see your faces. Now then, OPEN SESAME! Behold, the world beyond the school walls! This is the world you've been wanting to escape to!'
'What the hell...?' They looked at the screen while I looked away. It was still as horrible as the last time I had seen it.
'Dangerous. The world has grown so very dangerous. This is the truth,' Junko chuckled.
'None of this makes sense...'
'What am I looking at?'
'This is just from a movie or something right?'
'You should all recognise it. Don't you, Y/N?' Junko asked and I looked at the screen before quickly nodding my head.
'I'm sorry..' I murmured.
'That world is locked away in the memories that were taken. If you can't remember, do your best to try and recall... better kick your brain in the ass, cuz it's up to that grey lump wether you live or die! 'I don't fucking remember' ain't a fuckin' excuse no more! Cuz now it's time...
For the final class trial!'
