《Mistake is mine》Chapter 15

*Sneha Pov*
Next day morning I decided to go to the café for morning shift. Bhai didn't know about this so I calmly informed Bhabhi and left.
Suresh actually got my vehicle repaired and brought to my home. So I used that as I am in no mood to walk.
To my luck when I returned Bhai is still in his room so he doesn't know about me going to the work.
While eating breakfast he tried to talk to me but I just ignored him and left to go to my college.
After returning from college I saw Samrat waiting for me but as usual I kind of ignored him and went inside to see Bhai.
"Can we talk Sneha?" he asked.
"Not now Bhai. I am actually leaving for work. I asked my boss to shift my duty to one hour before." I replied and started just rambling.
"You are not going there again Sneha. Just listen to me." he said pleadingly.
"I need to Bhai. I actually found a small flat for me. So I need to work to get enough money to pay the first installment rent for it." I said.
He immediately looked at me shocked. But I left him to go to café.
As promised my boss let me leave at 7pm only. But to my surprise I saw Bhai standing outside the café.
"Since when are you standing here Bhai?" I asked him after reaching near him.
"Since your decision just got sink into me." He replied.
"I can't change my decision Bhai." I said.
He nodded and asked "Can we talk?"
I think it is best to do this and get over it. So I nodded.
"We will sit in the park." He said leading me to the near park.
We sat there for sometime in silence.
I thought to break the silence but he said "When you born I first looked at you curiously, Mom said that I just became a big brother to a little girl."
"And dad said that from today onwards it is my responsibility to protect you. I felt so proud that day because I have a responsibility on me." He said chuckling.
I couldn't help but smile. "That is actually quite a work for six year old boy." I said.
"I enjoyed taking care of you. Do you know when you first stood I was there near you and no one else because Mom was busy in the kitchen and dad in office?" He asked.
"I know. Mom told me many times." I replied.
"When you stood up, I just shouted and jumped saying you actually love me more." He said looking at me.
"We were totally fine until I became friends with those six boys." He said sighing.
"You are wrong Bhai. We were even finer even after they entered our lives." I said correcting him.

"I still don't know what went wrong." He said.
"You just got more attached to them Bhai. They too did the same." I said shrugging.
"Which is our big mistake. You made each and every one of us realize our mistakes Sneha." He said
"But you hate me right?" I asked him.
"Why do you think like that?" he asked confused.
"When I got ill and that incident happened, you totally distanced yourself from me completely." I replied.
"That's because I was guilty. I was not in my senses when I shouted at you that day. That project was so important for us and if it is not finished then I would have failed. Then when you started saying something I didn't even heard properly and when you just vomited on the project I just saw my failing in front of my eyes. So in that range I pushed you." He said shaking.
I placed my hand on his shoulder but he continued saying "Then you just fainted and when you were taken to the hospital I heard doctors saying that you are in critical condition. I just cried there so much and just thought that it happened because of me."
I saw few tears falling from his eyes.
"Later when you are saved they said you could have died if you were brought to the hospital a little late. That's it guilt crept inside me and I not only think but I know that it happened because of me. Because of me you just got in danger. So I thought if I kept my distance you would be safe." He said.
"That is totally silly thinking. Unless you are some mosquito, you couldn't have been reason for my illness." I said.
He chuckled a little and said "But I should have protected you. Then the time when I understood that my mistake is for pushing you and not attending you immediately, I was in my hostel. I thought to get back together when I returned but I got this girlfriend tension on me when I returned."
"I will say Bhabhi that you called her tension." I threatened him teasingly.
"After that we all got busy with the dream we seven guys had and in settling our lives and everything. Then when we got success I wanted you all to come and live here with me so that I can make up for you." he said.
"But I already joined in my dream college and our parents didn't accept your decision." I completed saying what happened.
"At that time I got angry because I didn't even know that you joined in a college and I missed another chance to be a big brother for you." he said.
"Bhai I want you to answer something. Do you think me as the reason for our parent's death?" I asked him.

"From where in the hell did you have that thought from?" he asked me.
"Because when you came I hugged you immediately but you pushed me away. Then later you glared at me." I replied.
"Oh Sneha! You don't know what actually happened that day. When we all arrived some man started saying that you are the reason behind their death, I just lost control and kicked him. I was still fuming at that man; I pushed you away so that I will not hurt you. Later Samrat slowly said that I pushed you away forcedly, and then I just hated myself and turned to look at you. At the same time that man stood beside you and I glared him. Not you dear." He said and hugged me.
"I got feared thinking that you just hate me more because of that." I said crying.
"I would never think like that. I accept that I was hard on you to come here with us. But you don't know what I felt when they said that our parents car got in accident when they went to pick you up. I thought that I lost you too. I feared that if you stay there I couldn't protect you so I shouted at you like that."
"They why did you behave differently when we came here?" I asked him.
"I just still didn't come out of the affect from our parents' death because it was nearly half year before I saw our parents. It just shooked me off." He replied.
He released me and said "I am not denying that I am justified to my actions with all these explanations. I am wrong here and please just forgive me. Give me a chance."
He pleaded me. How could I say no to my only family left?
I nodded and hugged him again.
"Thank you so much. I will not make you regret it." He promised.
"I know." I said.
Later he dropped me and left to go to a company.
I went inside and sat with Bhabhi in the living room and explained what happened today.
She was happy for me.
Sometime later Samrat entered and sat near us.
"Please let me explain." He pleaded.
I looked at him for few minutes and said "Ok."
He immediately smiled and said "I didn't mean any word I said that day. You can ask Bhabhi how difficult it was for me to say it."
"Then why did you?" I asked him.
"Because I just got fight with my friends that day and which is very big one infact about not booking tickets for you. Then I saw everyone looking at me to reply to that stupid friend's question. Mainly I saw Nag glaring at me when he heard that you like me. I got little feared that I will lose my friends and that's why I said that." He replied in one breath.
I looked at him in shock and said "That is the most stupid reason I have ever heard."
"I know, I know. I am sorry." He said.
"What were you thinking at that time with that stupid thought in your brain?" I asked him.
"I know." He replied.
"Do you know I just hate you?" I said.
"I know." He replied looking away.
"Do you know you don't like me?" I said looking at him.
"I know." He replied sighing.
Then immediately he turned towards me shocked and said "I mean.. no.. I mean."
I stopped him and said "It just got cleared Samrat. Leave it!"
He was about to say something else but at the same time Suresh entered barging inside and closed the door.
He sat near me and said "Hello beautiful ladies" looking at me and Bhabhi.
Then turned towards Samrat and said "Hello old man."
I couldn't help but laugh at that statement.
*Amala Pov*
We were still laughing and then we heard door bell.
Samrat got up and said "It must be my brother. I asked him to come to this house."
He went to open the door. Then we saw some person entering and he gave a small glance at Samrat.
But then looked in our direction and said "Beautiful?"
I immediately heard a shout from beside me and saw Sneha shouting "Virat!" and jumped out of her seat and rushed near Virat.
Samrat still in daze came near us and I stood up along with Suresh. We three looked at them in shock.
Virat just lifted Sneha and spin her around and she just started laughing.
"Krishna was never in the completion for you and as for me I am just out of syllabus. But looks like your brother is the one who is going to give you a tough competition." Suresh said in whisper teasing Samrat.
We both just high-fived by looking at Samrat's face.
"Damn brother!!!" Samrat said under his breath and we both heard it.
This is going to be interesting I think......
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm new character....
I hope Nag's explaination reduced your hate for him. We always have these misunderstandings because of not communicating and for just assuming things on our own which is big mistake. And the same happned here.
i didn't add "Virat!" name in the pic but i will in the next chap..
At present i don't have any ideas for next chap but i am just crossing my fingers so that i get one.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
