You are happy today, after all it's your sister's wedding.
As you get to the front of the stage, you stop in your tracks as your heart stops.
It feels heavy and your breathing stops.
It's him. With your sister.
You can't comprehend how this happened. Your eyes start to tear up as you stand there frozen, watching them laughing and talking.
Your smile on the face long gone, you don't know what to do so you turn and start to walk out the venue. You didn't see who she was marrying due to you being in another country. But you didn't expect this.Your eyes water as you choke on your own emotions.
You can't handle it. Your heart broke way before someone could even cherish it.
Just as you reach outside, you lean against the wall, choking on your own sob. You put a hand over your mouth to quieten it or even stop but nothing seems to be working.

You keep questioning yourself as your knees start to give out. And just when you can't hold yourself, you fall and brace for the impact.
Just then, arms quickly encircle your waist preventing you from falling.
Taking a deep breath, you look up through teary eyes at enchanting green eyes. So soft and somehow are bringing comfort to you.
You stand there looking at him, watching if he might do anything.
He smiles instead and your heart skips a beat.
