"Wakey wakey birthday boy!" I nudged Cam as he just burrowed his head farther into the pillow.
"Five more minutes." He groaned turning away from me.
"Fine then I guess you don't want my present." I teased, slipping out of the bed.
"I'm up I'm up!" I heard him yell and chase after me.
I ran out to the dining where I had put Cam, Nash and I's breakfast out on the table. I had Cams present sitting on the table wrapped up nicely in front of his usual seat. I saw him reaching for the box but I pushed his hands away.
"Wait until you finished your breakfast." I said in a stern voice, taking the seat next to him.
He just pouted but his face lit back up once he saw the giant stack off waffles and pile of bacon I made on the table as well. Just then a drowsy looking Nash stumbled into the room, probably because he woke to the smell of food.
"Happy birthday Cam!" Nash greeted as we say down at the table.
"Thanks man." Cam managed to say with a mouth full of food.
"No problem bud Lex what's with all this food?" He gestured the the giant plates.
"Because we all know Matt and Carter are ganna come bursting in here any second looking for food." I explained and just as I predicted they came bursting threw the door very loudly I may add.
"Happy birthday Cammy boy!" Matt tried to jump on Cams but but fell as the chair got in the way.
"Thanks Matt but you might wanna get off the floor now." Cam chuckled.
"Happy birthday bro." Carter also greeted.
Cam thanked him and looked over at with with pleading eyes, "Can I open my present now?"
"Yeah baby go ahead." I slid it towards him.
I watched as he tore through the paper and ripped the top of the box up. He looked up and smiled at me as he pulled out the black Michael Khors watch and a new pair of vans.
"Thanks Lex I love it and you!" He leaned over and kissed me, the boys making gagging noises behind us.
"I'm ganna go take a shower so we can go visit your mother." I announced, clearing his and my plate from the table.
"Can I join?" Cam asked with a slight smirk.
"Oh my god I don't wanna hear this we're going to theirs bye!" Nash yelled, pulling Matt and Carter out the door behind him.

I placed the dishes in the sink and headed for the bathroom knowing Cam would be following.

"My baby boys already 20!" Cams mom pulled him into a tight hug as we walked in the door.
"Mom! I'm not a baby." Cameron whined, obviously feeling embarrassed.
"Mh sure you're not, but speaking of babies where's that sonogram pictured you promised me?" She asked turning towards me.
I set my bag on the counter and searched through it until I found the small paper I was looking for. I handed it to her and saw her eyes lightp up.
"Did you guys pick out a name yet?" She asked, handing me back the picture.
"Yup, Ethan Nash." Cam answered, joining the conversation. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin in top of my head.
"When's he due?"
"December 9th I think." I answered, leaning back into Cams chest a little.
"Oh before I forget, Cameron could you go get a box of some of your old things in the garage?" His mother asked him.
He nodded and headed for the door while we made our way to the living room. We got to talking for a couple minutes until Cam came back into the room with the biggest smile on his face.
"I love you." He pulled his mom into a hug which she gladly concerned.
"Lex come see this." He instructed, helping me out of the chair and over towards the door.
We made it there and I saw a new black jeep Cherokee with a huge bow on it sitting in the middle of the room.
"I figured it be better to drive the baby in this then that old pick up." Gina spoke up from behind us.
"As much as I love this there is nothing wrong with Gracie, she's been through a lot." I never really understood why guys named cars but yeah that's was when he called the truck.
"Yeah like World War One and II." She teased, causing me to laugh and Cam to pout.
"Oh just go get the actual box so we can go through it." She instructed as we walked back into the living room.
Cam walked back into the room a couple minutes later holding two giant boxes and set them on the floor. About halfway through the second box I felt a sudden sharpe pain in my abdomin. I just brushed it off; it's probably just the baby kicking a little too hard.

"Hey babe, what time do we have to meet the guys?" Cam asked, nudging me.
"Around 5." I answered checking my phone and seeing it was just about 4.
"Thank you again for my present love you." Cam went and pulled his mom on for a hug, kissing her on the cheek and helping me up and out to our new car.
Cam decided to leave his truck here because he didn't want his 'best friend' sitting in the apartments parking garage by itself. I honestly don't understand boys and their cars but hey, at least we don't have to ride in that death trap anymore. We got home about ten minutes later and changed into some nicer clothes.
"Ready?" I asked Cam after walking out of the bathroom when I finished my makeup and straightening my hair.
"Yeah babe let's go." He smiled down at me, grasping my hand and leading us out to the door.
The drive to the restaurants wasn't that long. We mostly listened to the radio and talked about random things.
"Yo Gilinsky! Johnson!" Cam yelled as we walked over to the table full of loud boys.
"Aye Cam!" Both Jacks yelled back, pulling him into that weird hug boys do.
"Hello Lexi and little man." Jack G chuckled and pulled me in for a hug.
"We missed you both." I smiled and pulled out of the hug and went to take a seat.
Cameron pulled the chair out for me so I could sit. As I was bending down I felt another sharpe pain in my abdomen, causing me to scrunch up in pain.
"Lex, babe are you okay?" Cam asked, bending down to see me.
"Yeah I'm fine let's just eat." I gave him a reassuring smile.
He nodded unsteadily and Nash gave me a concerned look from across the table. All through dinner the pains in my stomach came and went. I kept a smile on my face not wanting to ruin Cams birthday. But at one point my head started to hurt really bad and I felt some sort of liquid dripping onto my seat.
"C-cam there's something wrong." I pulled on his arm. The last thing I remembered was Cam yelling at the boys to call an ambulance.
Next thing I knew I woke up in a hospital bed with Cam holding my hand. He had puffy red eyes probably from crying. His face lit up once he realized I was awake.
"Why is my side so numb?" I asked, trying to move around.
"Baby don't do that you'll tare your stitches. The doctor said you went into premature labor and they had to do an emergency c- section." He explained, climbing into the he'd so he could hold me.
"Wait what! I'm only five months along, is he okay, where is he?" I asked in a panic kind of tone.
"Relax, he's okay that just took him for a few tests to make sure everything's really okay." He tried to calm me down.
Just then a nurse came wheeling in one of those portable cribs with a blue bundle inside.
"Hello Lexi, are you feeling okay?" She asked me, setting up the brakes so the crib can't roll away.
"I feel fine but can I hold him?"
She nodded and picked up the small bundle and settled him in my arms.
"He has your and Nash's eyes." Cam commented, sticking his finger out so Ethan could grab on to it with his tiny little hand.
"He has your nose." I commented back.
"The boys are ganna love him." He pointed out.
I completely forgot about them and Cams birthday.
"Babe what time is it?" I looked around but couldn't find the clock in the surprisingly big room.
"11:30 why?"
I smiled up at him, "you guys have the sane birthday."
"Well he is the best birthday present I could ask for." He leaned down to kiss me.
"Aye keep it PG we got a baby in the room." A voice called from the door, it belonged the the one and only Jack Gilinsky.
Looking up I saw all the boys standing in the doorway.
"Shut up!" I laughed as the walked in and took a seat on the chairs and couch on the other side of me.
"Can I hold him?" Nash asked, siting on the end of the bed.
I nodded and carefully placed Ethan into his awaiting arms. He looked down and started making faces at him, trying to get him to laugh.
"He's big for only five months along." One of the boys commented.
"See Nash, I told you he was ganna be fat like you." I teased.
He stuck his tongue our at me before retiring his attention to the baby. I leaned my head on Cams shoulder and soon fell asleep.

Disclaimer: I'm not continuing this story. Check out Azarinth Healer, it's a more current story where I worked on a lot of things I found wrong with this one. Main character is somewhat similar as well so if you like Eleonora, you'll probably like Ilea. I still invested a ton of time writing this so check it out if you feel like it. There's gonna be 20 Chapters 39k words total. Hey everyone. This is a story I've started writing like a year ago and thought why not post it now. This story is about fighting and magic in a pretty standard fantasy world. The story follows Eleonora through her daily life in Duneswatch and on her way to become an adventurer. No secrets here, it's pretty generic. Should be decently paced so just give it a shot if you want to. I'm not gonna sell it to you in this quick summary. The range of writing on RR is so wide we both know you just have to give it a chapter...or a paragraph depending on how unique the grammar is. Please do criticize harshly. I'm definitely no writer but everybody can improve with pointers in the right direction. Don't expect regular updates.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
